  • Ted Cruz Claims to Have the Key to Hispanic Vote, And It’s Shockingly Simple

Having Rubio on a Cruz ticket will be just as much of a problem as a Reagan/Bush ticket. Granted, nothing was wrong with the Reagan part it is just he had to constantly work to not only overcome the Democrats but also the Progressive wing of the Republicans which at the time were called the Rockefeller Republicans.

Rubio is classic GOPe and will have just as much of a limiting factor of Liberty as did the Bushes. The GOPe must be eliminated or greatly marginalized if Liberty is to be attained.

The only problem is the delivery. Can we kill the messenger if the messenger tries to suck up whatever air is left in the room? No we don’t. With no air left in the room, the messenger will eventually stop.

Walker sucking up a lot of oxygen only tells me there is an overabundance of CO2 left and that is where we, who are not all in, are raising our concerns.

If you are taking my retorts as “attacks” maybe you ought to consider what the other three fingers are doing to you as you point that finger at us.

My overriding point to the observation of Reno is only that I see a headline posted by you and I instantly can assume with credibility that at least the first, if not more of the immediate subsequent postings are also by you without any debate at all.

Cool the jets already and let the debate begin on your opening statement and not the filibuster tact that looks like you are arguing with yourself.

My great Uncle used to use a host of what I later learned were learning moments to have me think about what he was saying long after he said them. He was wise enough to know that the “light bulb” moment would not happen immediately but they eventually would.

They all stated with “A wise man once said;”

My #1 that did hit me right away was, you’ll never learn anything with your mouth open.

#2 You NEVER get a second chance at making a first impression.

He was far more wise than I had ever imagined at the time. I miss him terribly, he died in 1969.

Many of your “attackers” are only those, who either obtained an education before our public schools turned to total crap or were schooled in private institutions or like me in military dependent schools all over the world, who were taught critical thinking and deductive reasoning.

We get it, we got it a long time ago and your obsessive pro Walker and especially anti Cruz posts are like fingernails on a chalkboard. We are offering our opinion to you that all we have to do is leave the room and close the door behind us.

In that case, we all lose because we don’t care to hear it anymore even if you do have a broke clock or blind squirrel moment while we are not listening.

As for the debate, please let it happen without arguing with yourself first, digest all of the countering debate, then formulate your arguments. It is far more appealing.

May God bless you for your enthusiasm as well as USS Alaska for defending you, as he should.

Just like a progressive in an argument, a barrage of nebulous questions in an attempt to impugn a message or to misdirect from it.

Did I not say that you are entitled to your opinion just as I am to mine?

Reno made a salient point of OBSERVATION and I just reinforced it with your methods just exactly as it was with Rick Perry.

Hey, we get it already. You are all in with Walker.

    Now, so what?

If you think that the endless barrage of the same stuff over and over again all laundered by you is the Ichi-Ban of the total discussion, I ain’t buying it and that is ONLY my opinion.

Here are some points directly from the Cruz website. Although it does not mention H1B specifically, here is how he addresses immigration as a whole.

Joined Texas and 25 other states in a lawsuit to stop President Obama’s illegal executive amnesty.

Authored legislation to triple the size of the U.S. Border Patrol.

Authored legislation to streamline and simplify our legal immigration system by consolidating segmented visas, creating real and transparent caps, eliminating the diversity visa lottery, and treating all immigrants equally by eliminating the per-country caps.

Urged the strictest enforcement of laws punishing those with prior felony convictions who entered the country illegally in a U.S. Supreme Court Brief in Lopez v. Gonzales.

You are not the only one Reno. I started pointing this out when she takes a grip to someone, anyone, the MO is the same. She challenges you to prove it knowing you don’t have the time to because she knows it is so pervasive.

If you want a real inside look, if you can spend the time, she did exactly the same thing with Rick Perry in the last go round until the pressure finally caused him to forget his talking points and his meltdown ensued.

She then disappeared for a while. Will the same happen here? I predict it is likely because Walker has has his transformations on issues like immigration, abortion, and most importantly the Constitution.

What is most obvious to me is that she will make a post and then answer herself with a whole litany of pre-formatted html responses knowing full well that it looks like other people are responding before opening the thread. It takes a lot of time for just anyone to peck out the code in the long dissertations she posts as answers and I wager her posts and self responses are not impulsive but purposely arranged astroturf.

But, that is my opinion and I am entitled to it just as she is hers. We just have to be discernible enough to recognize it for what it is.

Rubio lied to my face from his heart when he was running against Charlie Crist. His lie was exposed with the Gang of 8.

For now, I support Cruz because he needs no talking points but I am guarded because of Rubio. He says what he means and means what he says to date. Doesn’t waiver. On the H1B issue I too have reservations but that offer was made in the throws of the Gang of 8 debate in the Senate and he knew that amendment would kill it and also that it did not have a snowballs chance in hell of getting enacted.

All must remember, he is a seasoned litigant before the USSC and in such knows how to take an issue and use it to strategize an argument. Because of his not addressing the issue right now, he has a reason and a time for it that will become all too clear when he does.

I know what the oath is but my point is far more reaching with respect to the wolf is guarding the hen-house, which in this analogy is the truth.

So how can attorneys get away with outright lies when trying to diminish the character of their adversaries? It is mostly phrased as to making one defend a negative or a lie. Do you still beat your wife?

One glaring case in point. In the Casey Anthony case, Baez stated in his opening statement that he would present evidence that her father sexually abused her.

He never brought any evidence or even raised the issue again in the case to prove his lie in the opening statement. It has been my experience in civil court that the first casualty is the truth when it comes to a win at any cost mindset of MOST attorneys.

So your not exactly true is just that, not exactly.

As I also said, it is a systemic problem along with the rest of our society and the only ones who are responsible to clean up their houses are the residents.

Until we get a grasp on this reality, it will only get worse until this whole grand human experiment is relegated to the dustbin of history.

    Wrong in my estimation.

True they will escalate the issues in Iraq but only to have a northern front against their arch rival in the area and then also to continue in Yemen to also have a southern front as well.

I believe the goal is to eventually squeeze the delivery routes of SA oil and eventually kill the kingdom or at the very least to have them cut off the western world of the oil resource. We have seen the Saudis don’t have the stomach to hekp defend Yemen with boots on the ground.

I took the opportunity to do as requested and still, please, pretty please, pretty please with a cherry on top. Then the week of May 18th will not be, as in all his other public hearings on the Committee’s charge, let’s ask the question if she/they have complied with the request that ALL the requested information has been disseminated and provided to the Committee. Then, they will decide when to call her in for a subsequent hearing later in June.

With all due respect, if I had committed treason, do you think I would have received such a nicely worded letter asking me to tell them the truth? Even more, being provided with a list of over 100 “sample” questions that “might” be asked once the later hearing commences?

So, she gets one month to prepare to lie like she always does with impunity to simple say they now have everything after she admits they scrubbed the server? It will only take her a few seconds to simply repeat over and over again that she does not recall.

We’ve been there and done that too many fargin times to be surprised it is not coming. Although, her last indignant screeching episode sure seemed to take these “tough guys” under their benches, now didn’t it. He was trying to kill the Gang of 8 crap. He know his amendment never had a chance of being adopted and was using it to point out the amnesty lie the GOPe and Democrats were propagating.

Is it not true that the US colleges are not educating the high tech graduates in the numbers that US companies need to compete in the ever growing high tech industries, existing and new? Did you know that everybody who had eaten corn in 1897 has died?

Be very careful of what you hear and read. Do your own research, find your own facts. If you do not know that anything you take as conventional wisdom is not independently verified three times over, by you, might be suspect to its veracity.

I have checked the H1B issue and did you know he introduced that amendment during the Gang of 8 debacle as a means to kill it? That was presented when the Democrats held the Senate and everything proposed as an amendment by any Republican was killed without debate. Cruz knew this and he was just yanking Dingy Harry’s chain.

I did not know about this rating thing for attendance but I will certainly find out. First I will go to see what Committees he is a member of. What I see he is only on subcommittees, of which he is Chairman of two.

That then begs the question of what of those is his attendance record and how often do they meet and what business is before them when they do?

Then when doing the initial research, all of the stories about his attendance are from the left MSM usual suspects. How much veracity are you going to put into their unbiased research, nevermind the GOPe is desperate to paint this guy as a “Whacko Bird” so they can go on with business as usual.

I will never forget how rock solid his immigration stance was when asked about it and I, like so many others, who also heard him reinforce Border Security completed first before any discussion about illegals in this country could begin in any serious manner.

Then came the Gang of 8. To align himself with McCain and Shamnesty Graham was bad enough but to really turn the knife by associating with Schmuckie Schumer and Durbin was all byond belief. Then to find out it was his signature Bill . . .

In a nutshell, exactly the small list I keep to, taking out any names, to ask people who are unsure. Cincinatus’ Wife will tell everyone differently, but then all one has to remember is how in the tank (she) was for Rick Perry and we know how that all worked out.

She has to learn that telling people what they should do with a barrage of one sides links they have to go read, instead of inspiring thoughtful answers by only asking simple, one logical answer questions will cause people to actually think about it.

It is the same tactic I use when discussing anything with Progressives (the Liberal moniker is just a smokescreen) that when I know I won the argument is when they go off in a tizzy because they just can’t bring themselves to honestly answer the question. The fun part is when they lie to try and answer, I just hit them with another question.

“Any” Pub candidate does not have the balls to do what is necessary to fix the problems. At one time I thought Rand might but he pissed that away in short order. Right now it is Cruz or Walker, period. Cruz stands his ground, Walker tends to wobble a bit if the end game is political expediency.

    Cruz best exemplifies, in a political sense, that of Admiral David Farragut where the misquoted phrase of “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead” comes from;

On August 5, 1864, Farragut won a great victory in the Battle of Mobile Bay. Mobile, Alabama, was then the Confederacy’s last major open port on the Gulf of Mexico. The bay was heavily mined (tethered naval mines were then known as “torpedoes”). Farragut ordered his fleet to charge the bay. When the monitor USS Tecumseh struck a mine and sank, the others began to pull back.

Farragut could see the ships pulling back from his high perch, where he was lashed to the rigging of his flagship, USS Hartford. “What’s the trouble?”, he shouted through a trumpet to USS Brooklyn. “Torpedoes”, was the shouted reply. “Damn the torpedoes.”, said Farragut, “Four bells, Captain Drayton, go ahead. Jouett, full speed.” The bulk of the fleet succeeded in entering the bay. Farragut triumphed over the opposition of heavy batteries in Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines to defeat the squadron of Admiral Franklin Buchanan.

  • Karl Rove speaks at UConn, refuses to apologize to Iraq War vet for lives lost in invasion

Just how stunningly ignorant you are about the issue, stunningly. The Iraqi issue did not start with 2003. The US was invited in with the full conscience and asking by the United Nations in response to Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in July of 1990.

All were attacked during the buildup to counter the invading force from going further on to the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. The use of Scud rockets were directed at the US forces and some were killed when one hit a temporary barracks of the US Army. Scuds were also launched and landed at several places in Saudi Arabia and also in Israel.

We would have vanquished the major portion of the then retreating Iraqi armor, but that courageous “Colonel” General Powell (RitaX reference) couldn’t stomach the images of the Road to Basra just making the news that he convinced GHWB to pull “Stormin” Norman Schwartzkopf’s leash and stop the just about to commence obliteration of that force. The 24th Mechanized and the 82nd/101st Aviation Assault had them triple flanked on the road to Nasiriah and because of the courageous actions of that man who became the SoS for GWB, they got away to fight another day that resulted in us having to go back in and do it all over again.

So, with that little history lesson, do you care to revise and extend your remarks? But first, how about a little history lesson.

That entire comment was referencing Cruz, not Walker, go back and re-read it again. If you still don’t get it, well, I’ll let others draw their own conclusions.

I’ll put my tires on Georgia dirt but make sure I can drive through it without stopping. The law of unintended consequences will start to happen, and like in Kalifronja, they will just keep raising the taxes to try and makeup the resulting shortfall. This is just the inducement of the consequences to eventually start taxing people on the number of miles they drive, along with toll booths at the borders to collect from those who will make the run through without stopping.

So just like the Deep Horizon, the target is the gas and the crude is just a spinoff? Kinda lays focus on what happened to those imaginary massive migrating oil slicks that were never found.
