Kanye West doesn’t care about black people. Neither does anyone in the Democratic Party, not even the black ones. For decades, Democrats have been pandering to black voters without delivering much in their favor. Saying pretty things like, “We understand you,” and proposing policies that openly sympathize with their historical struggle, they won over the hearts and minds of America’s blacks. Much to the disbelief of those on the left, it is the Republican Party that has continually promoted the welfare of blacks the most effectively.

"Amid all the punditry about whether there was an al-Qaida connection to Thursday's attacks on London commuters, it should not be forgotten that the bloody trail of blame leads straight to 10 Downing Street. The prime minister's early return to Westminster was a fitting response to the carnage unleashed on the capital. It was the only hint of personal responsibility for our entanglement in a war that has made prime targets of innocent Britons." Article continues

My grandaughter, out of the blue last week, said she wished that Kerry was president. When I asked her why,she really had no response, she's in third grade after all. She then said everyone in her class wished Kerry was president(no surprise there in a very liberal schools system). She then said that her teacher had told them we were at war in Iraq because Bush wanted the oil. I was stunned. I then told her that I had voted for Bush and that more people in the USA had wanted Bush for president than had wanted Kerry and that her teacher's view...

February 26, 2005 IT IS NOT surprising that dictatorial employers would fire workers for smoking even off the job (''Smoke screens," editorial, Feb. 20). ADVERTISEMENT During the last 20 years punitive and regressive taxes have been imposed on tobacco. Smoking, which is legal in the United States, has been outlawed in private businesses, and institutionalized scorn has been directed at smokers. I attended a meeting at the Harvard School of Public Health where Howard Koh, then health commissioner, said he had considered asking that every pack of cigarettes sold in Massachusetts bear the phrase, ''You are the scum of the...

December 10 is "Transgender,Bisexual,Gay and Lesbian Day" at Newton North High School in Newton,Mass. On December 11-13 they will have a homosexual play which features two girls in a kissing scene. This is a large high school in an affluent suburb of Boston. Some of the kids at this school could be as young as 13. Is this something that happens in other areas? I have lived here all my life and this certainly didn't happen when my kids were in school. Just curious,is this a national trend or what? It's nice how this was timed around Christmas and Hannukah.

A Tufts senior had her Senior Award, one of the highest awards on campus, revoked by the university's Alumni Association because of her "inappropriate and offensive" behavior during a recent campus protest of former President George H.W. Bush. Elizabeth E. Monnin was accused of making a vulgar hand gesture at Bush as he chided her and other protestors who disrupted his remarks on February 26 about the 1991 Gulf War. This is the first time in the 48 year history of the Senior Award that the honow has been revoked.

I'm new to this website and only been using the Internet for two years so please help me. I thought I had found a discussion on Kwanzaa on this site about 3 days ago but I'll be darned if I can find it again. It mentioned Fisher Price's explanation of the "celebration" on it's website and there was a history of Kwanzaa from a newspaper article. Does anyone know where this can be located? If I'm wrong about this site having the info forgive me.
