I did not read Slate’s spew. However, My take is there are 3 likely contenders, Cruz, Walker and Bush. The one the Left fears seems to be Walker. Its puzzling why the left is being nice to Cruz.

I would suspect The Elitists plan seems to be to dilute the field so much no one will get a large number of votes then use their vote fraud machine to swing the primary to the most GOPe candidate that is in - likely Bush.

The entire Show of the court is fraud:
1: Marriage was never a right nor is it a privilege - try to marry your sister to see that fact - thus its not a civil rights claim and the federal courts lack jurisdiction on the issue.
2: One-man, one-woman marriage is an establishment of religion specifically the torah and the bible. As such the government is barred “Shall not” from making any law respecting any establishment of religion.
3: Both Kagen and Ginsberg have direct conflicts of interest in the case they had before them as they both officiated at fake marriages. As such, under every Judaical ethics’ rules they were required to recuse themselves from the hearing but failed to do so.
    4. None of the forgoing arguments - which are decisive - were presented.

Nobody is saying you MUST follow God’s laws. If you read the entire scripture on it you see that because a Real Christian is a changed, new person. Christians will LIVE in them. If you Love God with all your mind body and soul as Jesus said, then you will do what God wants and will obey him not because you want to to be saved - like it was under the Mosaic law for righteousness - but because you are a new creation filled with the Holy Spirit guiding you.

You can try to make every spin you want to support lawlessness - its is the apostate argument of Jude 1:4 to claim God’s grace licenses immorality. And those who ignore the plain language of Jesus on not abolishing the law and rejecting those who although claiming to be christian practice “Lawlessness.”

Matthew 5:17-18: “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10; “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 7:21-23 - 21”Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22”Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23”And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

And I will add the one that is behind the Apostate twist of scripture to ignore what is so clearly stated above; Jude 1:4; For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jesus said he did not abolish the law and those who violate it will not enter heaven. The issue is just giving lip service to Jesus does not make one a Christian anymore then standing in a garage makes one a car.

Yes we do not have to follow to law to obtain righteousness, however the law is still in effect and a Christian wants to please God so will follow it and not live in unrepentant sin.

This is stated in the scripture I already posted.

  • Why Do Christians Worship on Sunday and Not Saturday?

Jesus clearly answered your question: Matthew 7:21-23 - 21”Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

This is because a real Christian (not in name only) is a new creation. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Bible declares that a true Christian will not live a state of continual, unrepentant sin (1 John 3:6). The Bible also says that anyone who departs the faith is demonstrating that he was never truly a Christian (1 John 2:19). He may have been religious, he may have put on a good show, but he was never born again by the power of God. “By their fruit you will recognize them” (Matthew 7:16).

Iowacornman said “The old testament laws were put to an end Romans 10:4.” Which says “4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”

The law has not ended. Only the requirement to follow the laws to be righteous. Jesus fulfilled our duty to follow the law to be saved. As our Lord himself stated in Matthew 5:17-18: “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.”

This is also apparent in the NT in many places such as: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” etc.

So we have Righteousness given to us by Christ, its not a requirement to follow the law. However, a Christian will want to follow the law out of Love for God.

This Supreme Court hearing was sham, a show trial and any ruling in favor of mandatory acceptance of sodomy is arguably void on its face.

First: No federal court has jurisdiction to judge marriage as marriage is neither a right nor a privilege. For proof of this fact try to marry your adult sibling. As such its not covered under the 14th’s jurisdiction, nor is it a civil rights claim.

Second: Marriage is an establishment of religion. The First Amendment bars the government from changing it.

Third: Kagan and Ginsberg by publicly advocating for forced public acceptance of sodomy have demonstrated a bias as well as conflict of interest requiring them to recuse themselves from the case. They have not done so.

The absence of the forgoing arguments in front of the court and the refusal to recuse themselves by the two who have shown the most conflict of interest in the case are proof the hearing was a sham.

Praying to the dead is strictly forbidden in the Bible. Deuteronomy 18:11 tells us that anyone who “consults with the dead” is “detestable to the Lord.” The story of Saul consulting a medium to bring up the spirit of the dead Samuel resulted in his death “because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance” (1 Samuel 28:1-25; 1 Chronicles 10:13-14). Clearly, God has declared that such things are not to be done.

    From http://www.gotquestions.org/Christian-law.html
    ...
In place of the Old Testament law, Christians are under the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2), which is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and to love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). If we obey those two commands, we will be fulfilling all that Christ requires of us: “All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:40). Now, this does not mean the Old Testament law is irrelevant today. Many of the commands in the Old Testament law fall into the categories of “loving God” and “loving your neighbor.” The Old Testament law can be a good guidepost for knowing how to love God and knowing what goes into loving your neighbor.

“This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). The Ten Commandments were essentially a summary of the entire Old Testament law. Nine of the Ten Commandments are clearly repeated in the New Testament (all except the command to observe the Sabbath day). Obviously, if we are loving God, we will not be worshipping false gods or bowing down before idols. If we are loving our neighbors, we will not be murdering them, lying to them, committing adultery against them, or coveting what belongs to them. The purpose of the Old Testament law is to convict people of our inability to keep the law and point us to our need for Jesus Christ as Savior (Romans 7:7-9; Galatians 3:24).

No works are necessary for salvation:Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. See also Galatians 2:16.

God’s laws for all but those mosaic laws relating to earning salvation (which included the requirement to do works), are still in force. Jesus fulfilled all the works’ etc requirements for salvation with his sacrifice. Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

However, it is the new person, born-again (2 Corinthians 5:17) who wants to please God so we do charity etc, out of love. 2 Corinthians 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 1 Corinthians 13:3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

The strongest argument is not being said. The 14th does not apply as marriage is not and never was a right or a privilege. Want proof? Try to marry your sister.

With no 14th Jurisdiction there is no federal court authority.

That’s pretty good for a phoney push poll. Even calling gay-friendly zip codes they still found a 3rd rejecting them....
