Democrats who wrote the immigration bill insisted they didn’t give up any core principles

Democrats usually lie but on this rare occasion I believe they are telling the truth.

The Democrats and their special interest groups wrote over a thousand page bill. When you got a thousand pages on your side, amendments change very little.

I will address one of your points.

First you say that "Sarah could be a powerful media draw"--as if she isn't---And then you go on to say when she appeared on one of the Main Stream News morning shows, "She caused GMA to murder The Today Show in the ratings"

Of course she is a powerful media draw, that was the point.

This thread is about Sarah having to take Twitter to call our Rubio on Amnesty.

At the present time,no one is employing her media drawing power because she does not have the favored position on Amnesty which is held by ALL the media elites.

Fox News is scared of her power, that is why they have hired her back, and kept away from prime time and discussing Amnesty.

If Amnesty passes, I am sure that we will see a lot more of Sarah on the Fox News Channel and in prime time.

Fox News Channel has pulled out the stops for Amnesty.

Rubio appears almost exclusively on Hannity.

Bill O' Reilly threw in with Gang of Eight.

Huckabee gave an interview to the Washington Post endorsing amnesty.

And Sarah has to take to Twitter to take on Rubio, because NO ONE is taking on Rubio on the Fox News Channel at least during prime time.

In this case Glenn Greewald attempts to take the moral high ground that Senator Barry blathered on about during the Bush Administration and the MSM elite are firing at him from all sides.

She did in effect get fired from Fox News when her contract was not renewed

That is what I said. I did not say that she got fired. I said in effect she got fired.

    That is called a nuance.

She did not get fired, but not renewing one's contract has the some effect.

In sports and show business it happens all the time because networks and sports ownership do not want to anger viewers and fans which pay the bills in media and sports.

It is called plausible deniability. Non-renewal gives them cleaner hands.

    especially by Cavuto.

Cavuto was never really a political guy. He started doing business on CNBC and was one those former CNBC hires Ailes brought in after FNC got up and running. Martha McCallum was another one of those trained in business news at CNBC. Ailes brought in Gerry Rivers from CNBC as well but Gerry was most likely trained in communist propaganda by Che Guevarra.

Cavuto is a personable guy who is good at interviewing but just that, the same could be said of Larry King as well. Cavuto is schmoozer not a thinker.

Palin didn’t get fired, and you don’t have the details about her leaving although you are posting your claimed ones.

I realize that I am taking a nuanced position beyond the grasp of many on this forum.

I am on Sarah's side and I am very much not on the side of the GOPe and Fox News. The elites have done Sarah dirty.

Sarah could be a powerful media draw but she does not espouse the corporate media elite party line and no network other than Fox will hire her.

Since she doesn't march in lockstep with the GOPe and Tokyo Rove, Fox will hire her but never feature her on a topic such as Amnesty. If Amnesty becomes a done deal, we may see more of her.

When she wasn't renewed on Fox, she appeared on Good Morning America opposite a relaunch on the Today Show. She caused GMA to murder The Today Show in the ratings.

But the Disney Cartel who owns ABC has a political agenda and Sarah doesn't fit even though if she were to appear a couple of times a week on a network morning show, she would make them a consistent winner.

This is the food chain from top to bottom. NWO=Newscorp=Rupert Murdoch=Roger Ailes=Tokyo Rove=Sarah Palin

Sarah is not in a position to make demands of a powerful media elite joined at the hip with the GOPe.

They do not need Sarah all that much, if they did they would feature her on prime time.

They are using her and she has the opportunity to use them a bit as well.

Using her Twitter to expose Rubio, shows that she will not be muzzled by them, but ultimately boys like Ailes land Rove have all the power because they determine when and where she will appear on Fox News and what will be the general topic of discussion.

She almost got fired from FOX over it.

She did in effect get fired from Fox News when her contract was not renewed.

Methinks that had nothing to do with a singular act of insubordination that you refer to and I am unfamiliar with.

Sarah was not renewed because she could not tow the GOPe Party line and take her talking points from Tokyo Rove.

Whether Sarah was eventually renewed because she went begging on hand and knee to get her job back or whether they needed a token truthteller on Fox News is anyone's guess.

It would seem that Fox News needs Sarah as much if not more than she needs them.

Ailes and Tokyo Rove treat conservatives like dogs and having Palin spottily appear off prime time programming is there way of throwing conservatives a bone. The GOPe at Fox News believes us conservatives should be wagging our tails because Sarah gets some face time on their most obscure programming.

What are the chances of seeing Sarah Palin and Marco Rubio in the same Fox News studio at the same time where they are both employed? The same chance of seeing Superman and Clark Kent in the same room at the same time. After all Sarah gets a paycheck from Fox News. If Sarah shared some face time on Fox with Marco, I bet she would not be bashful in asking Marco, what gives with this amnesty crap?

Just check out the highly suspicious death of Michael Hastings.

Hastings was much more dangerous than Fast Eddie.

All the information that Fast Eddie has is most likely operational information about how we spy.

Hastings was dangerous because he was looking into botched shipments of American arms out of Benghazi that most likely ended up in the hands of Syrian rebels who were not from Syria.

This is highly embarrassing stuff for our first African American POTUS and our soon to be first female POTUS.

Part of the cover-up was bloodlessly taking down the Director of the CIA the old-fashioned way with a sex scandal.

If Snowden knew the secrets that Hastings was attempting to find but most likely had not gotten his hands on, he would have been a dead body discovered in a Hong Kong hotel room with a suicide note.

I think that paradoxically, the Moscow airport is the safest place on earth for Snowden. He could even arrange a global press conference in a waiting lounge in perfect safety. Putin is enjoying this deliciously ironic “turnabout” far to much to screw it up by grabbing Snowden. The FSB will surround him but as bodyguards to prevent possible assassination or kidnapping. He will be given the usual Russian gifts (Matrushka dolls, high-end vodka, etc) and put on the airplane. If Putin REALLY wanted to rub it in, he’d give Snowden the famously purloined Superbowl ring. NOBODY is enjoying this fiasco more that Vlad Putin. That old spy can’t stop grinning over this, believe me.

I was raised a social conservative.

I was raised that dignified people never bring undue attention themselves and they don't go around telling everyone the family business.

Of course in the small town I grew up in most everyone did know everyone's business.

If you did not want something known, you never spoke of it on the telephone because everyone in town had their phones tapped.

Our phone was tapped by Big Sis who lived down the street and was one of the five other families that we had to share a party line with.

When you heard the click you knew one of the other five families was listening in.

There are those that are quick to label Snowden a traitor.

But the treachery here is how incompetently that Big Brother manages Top Secret classifications.

There is no doubt in my mind that China has a more extensive spy program than the United States. How many spooks in China have their highest classification? Obviously that information will never be known. My guess is that it is way less than the nearly one million that we have.

But China values its secrets more than the U. S. because they simply take their national security more seriously. My guess is employees entering a computer spy center are searched or scanned for thumb drives and monitored very closely on entering and exiting the facility.

The NSA is not run that much better than any other bureaucracy in Washington.

To allow the highest classifications to be given to employees of private contractors which are publicly traded companies obsessed with the bottom line is the real treachery.

Tricky Dick Cheney loves private contractors in the military but we have not been winning any wars with private contractors.

Bradley Manning should be hung. He wore the uniform and he released documents that named names and compromised human assets in the field.

Eddie Snowden was a journeyman computer hacker who was not invested in the military or a government agency as career or a profession.

It just seems the traitors here are those that administered an agency that grew beyond ability to serve its purpose which is to provide for our national security.

NSA is supposed to collect, analyze, and securely store information.

It failed miserably because it got lost with the technology to collect data.

It was collecting data on people it had not business collecting data on. It collected data for the sake of collection of data and it collected more than it could ever effectively analyze.

But the crime is that it placed so little value on the storage of the data that it put a system in place where they expected to buy the loyalty of an Edward Snowden that had no more loyalty that hiring someone from a temp agency.

He took an oath for sure. But get real, he was temporary and a floater. When you give a Top Secret clearance, you must give it to a person who is willing to make an investment and commitment not someone who is simply scared of being punished for breaking his oath.

Cheney can call Snowden a traitor, but the treachery was thinking that someone could be bound to keep their oath simply by fear of the punishment for breaking an oath or the law.

If there were any good guys in Syria, they have either been killed or left the country.

Personally, I think the chemical weapons are better off under Assad's control than whoever may be called a Syrian rebel because methinks that a lot of Syrian rebels are not from Syria.

They chose to make the charges in Virginia which is the base for Booz Allen.

If they were smart they would have filed them in Hawaii where he committed the crimes.

Americans are as mad as hell and they can't take it anymore. After the 2008 bailout, there were Tea Party protests as well as Occupy Wall Street.

Snowden is tapping the same anger as in 2008. Americans have had it with the enslavement of their elitist masters.

Bring him to Virginia and the crowds of protesters will show up to support him.

The unwashed masses are not stupid and they do not like Big Brother nor do they trust Barry,Juan, Goober, Nancy, Harry, Diane, or Tricky Dick Cheney who tell them that they should relax and trust Big Brother and his overwhelming spy state.

Try him in Virginia and I say you have a bigger and more coherent protest than those occurred after the Wall Street shenanigans.

    It means Republican Party elite.

Both political parties are controlled by elites. This has always been true to some extent.

Problem is there has been the formation of so many other elites.

Corporations and media are big money and they have purchased the political elites of both parties.

The 2008 bailout of the Goldman-Sachs crowd exposed how the elites of both parties play the masses on the social issues but when it comes to big money those elitist prigs join hands as they did when they all cried bailout, bailout, too big to fail, too big to fail.

This quite understandable because the boy Bush nominated a former CEO of Goldman Sachs as his Secretary of Treasury and Barry was nominated in 2008 by another former CEO of Goldman Sachs.

Unfortunately, conservatives like Limbaugh have most often turned a blind eye and given the Republican Party elite a pass.

Finally, Rush had a come to Jesus moment when he admitted that Gang of Eight and all the shenanigans attached to Amnesty was because of what he called crony capitalism. Duh. The Chamber of Commerce lobby has controlled the GOPe on illegal immigration for a long time and there position was to do nothing.

Now that has changed and you get a GOPe idiot like Paul Ryan siding with the Gang of Eight because he takes instructions from the Chamber of Commerce and says that we must pass amnesty because there is going to be a labor shortage.

The GOPe and Fox News are bound quite tightly thanks to the Satan known as Karl Rove. He is evil. He is an elitist of the highest order. He is a modern Joseph Goebbels. The New World Order loves him as does the Rupert Murdoch who is nothing more than a Charles Foster Kane wannabe.

The lower case e may be quite small but it is big deal. It tells you that the GOP has not soul as it has sold to the elites.

This is called a rant. I hope it answered your question.

the world does not belong to the the witty, the wordy or even the smartest...it belongs to the strongest...the ones who can get their way....,

What you have observed rings very true.

Krauthammer has become a sort of high priest at FNC. Much like a Severaid was at CBS.

Krauthammer is no conservative in my book, but an east coast establishment inside the beltway elitist.

It is easy to trash Barry, Nancy, and Harry. There are many on this forum who good perform that task as well as he.

But because he is an elitist, he must ultimately choose an elite to side with. He has chosen the GOPe and the media elite known as Fox News to side with.

When it comes to nation building dictated by the Globalists and the police state as well as amnesty you will eventually find him pleasing his NWO masters at Fox News.

Thailand fascinates me and not for the reasons it fascinated David Carradine or Japanese sex tourists.

John Burdett has written three or four novels adapting the detective genre to modern Thailand. They are really good if you like detectives and crime stories.

I eat Pad Thai almost every day.

I would rather watch street food vendor videos on You Tube than anything on schlock American television.

The Thai music is so peaceful.

That picture blows me away and makes me want to go there.

At times it seems as if there are as many Rubios as there are Obama.

That is because they love the camera.

And that is because the media elites that control the cameras and have determined that Barry and Marco are alpha celebrities.

Alpha celebrity is Orwellian doublespeak for what the Beatles called a Nowhere Man.

Huckabee be a hanger on. He got not choices but take a check for whatever he does on the FNC on Saturday night.

When Ailes called him into the office to talk policy along with Tokyo Rove, they say "Mike how do you like your job?"

Mike say "I love my job."

They say "How you like Amnesty and Open Borders?" and Mike say "I like those things just as much as my bosses like those things."

They say "Atta boy Mike, go tell the world and the Wash Po how much you love the NWO."

The Gang of Eight and Boehner can save his bacon.

I know of NO media outlet that will not tout the passing of Amnesty as a great victory for Barry. It will be a six month pep rally 24/7.

When Obamacare comes into effect, the Dems can kiss any 2014 gains good bye.But Amnesty could turn victory from the jaws of defeat.

If Amnesty becomes the law of the land, the GOP will likely lose the House.

Juan, Marco, and Goober want to hand Barry a victory and give the Dems back the House.

Just how stupid is the GOPe, stupid enough to hand Barry and the Dems when they need it the most.

Rand Paul like the camera. He like to talk. His record in elected office of doing much other than talking is slim just like his daddy who liked to give lectures but who never accomplished much in office.

Using the Senate as path to White House by talking rather than doing.

Seems like that may have been done before.

The last mystery of the financial crisis for me occurred on Halloween Monday 2011, when it was uncovered that nearly 700 million was illegally transferred from MF Global accounts to J P Morgan Chase.

The transfers were illegal, yet no criminal charges have been filed and it has been officially stated that none likely will be.

Of course, the CEO was former Goldman-Sachs CEO Jon Corzine who was campaign bundler for Barry as well as putting his name in nomination in 2008.

For a lot of reasons what was done here could be argued was worse than with Madoff.

Madoff account holders accepted the risk that Madoff was "investing" their funds. The account holders at MF Global did not accept the risk of Corzine placing bets on foreign sovereign debt for his NWO buddies.

Corzine was as wired as anyone because he had held the highest power in the political party elites as well as the robber barons of Wall Street.

The clowns in media elites have dropped this story like a lead balloon. CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business are worthless. They never saw the MF Global thing coming and once it happened that wanted to see as less of the story as possible.

Where did I come up with the term Whitewater Forum? There must be something called cyber reincarnation because it is as if I was on this forum a long time ago. Screen names keep popping into my head from bygone days such as Saved by Grace, Fred Mertz, and Uncle Bill. Maybe there is such a thing, as in cyberspace all things may be possible. Cyber reincarnation or not, I certainly believe in your screen name, Cyber Liberty.

Hmm... no clues of a conspiracy, must have been a professional job!

I can't help myself. I grew up in cyberspace tracking the Clinton Crime Family on websites like the Whitewater Forum.

Jerry Luther Parks was quoted in Ambrose-Evans Pritchards book The Secret Life of Bill Clinton that "I am a dead man" upon hearing of the suicide of Vince Foster. So he would be, a few months later he was ambushed and killed on a country road in Arkansas.

The shooters have never been found and there were no clues of conspiracy left at the scene of the Arkancide.

Us tin foiled hat people think it was darn curious that a guy who committed suicide in Fort Marcy Park would signal to murder victim his impending demise.

There were no clues of conspiracy left at the crime where Mary Mahoney was shot and killed.

But somewhere in cyberspace you will the quote of Marcia Lewis which may or may not be true, which is the only really plausible explanation for Monica Lewinsky not cleaning the blue dress. Monica's mother is reputed to have said that we kept the blue dress because we did not want Monica to end up like Mary Mahoney.

Amateur leave clues and professionals leave unanswerable questions is my world view and I am sticking to it.
