  • Progressives just made the best argument possible for voting Trump

I am convinced the Democratic party is the party of outright criminals & self-interested, self serving politicians (legal criminals) who continuously rob the hard working middle class to bribe the poor in to voting them back into office while taking a big cut of the welfare pie for themselves.

These 2 groups are ruining this country. This country needs & ultimately will have a bloody civil war to root out these people, kill them, or forever banish them from this land. That may be harsh, but I believe it is the only solution to the problem.

At this point in the election, it would be better if the FBI & JD NOT indict Clinton. Any indictment would prompt Obama to grant her a pardon for past & current crimes, letting her go scot free.

The truth is out now. Even liberal reporters are questioning her ethics & veracity. Her campaign is faltering badly & will continue to do so with the IG report.

If we hold the indictment until Obama is out of office, that gives the Trump AG the opportunity to try, convict, & jail this witch, something she richly deserves. I believe a president Trump & his AG will do it with gusto. It’s worth waiting 8 months to see her in an orange jump suit. Be patient.

How to eat an elephant: One bite at a time.

Gun owners who resist confiscation will be arrested one at the time, relatively quietly, & before very long only the weakest resisters will be left defenseless. The media will set the narrative of gun owners as being criminals violating the laws.

Of course there will be violence, as many will resist. But a rifle & pistol will not match tanks, rocket launchers, & gunships. If you think Hillary will back down to avoid bloodshed, you don’t understand the mind of a tyrant. See Castro, Chavez, Pol Pot, Hitler, for reference. They are all steeped in blood & won the approval of their citizens until it was too late for the people to stop.

Which is more important: Someone being uncomfortable, or someone, possibly a child, being molested in a restroom?

The only way Target can “insure the safety of women & girls” is to put guards in the restroom. This is the author’s only solution, a poor one at best. Will there be transgender guards? That would seem to be in keeping with Target’s inclusion policies.

What about the peace of mind of the vast majority of people who use Target’s restrooms? Must we ignore that to satisfy the “sensibilities” of people who fundamentally have no sensibilities, nor have any regard for the feeling of others?

The medical profession, led by Johns Hopkins, is coming around to the obvious fact that transgenderism is a mental illness, not a sane way of life. These people are sexually maladjusted & unfit to share a public restroom with anyone.

Though I haven’t entered a Target since they banned the Salvation Army kettles at Christmas, this just adds to my resolve that Target is not a fit place for decent people.

The author of this article is an cultural appeaser, whose ethics changes with the crowd. Maybe when she meets the beast in the restroom she will have a change of heart.

Cruz Stays in because he believes the GOPe will give him the nomination after denying it to Trump. Cruz is wrong, of course. The GOPe will drop him like a hot rock after he helps block Trump from the nomination, giving the nomination to Bush, Ryan, or another GOPe puppet.

The Saudis can threaten to sell off billions of US assets, but they could take a serious loss if they do. I heard they were having financial problems. If so, a big sell off wont help.

Too, after selling off what I would assume are good assets generating a reasonable or better return on investment, where will they invest these billions to get a comparable, equally safe ROI? A solid portfolio is hard to replace. My guess is that there are not a lot of highly profitable, safe investment opportunities in the world just waiting for investment at rock bottom prices.

Perhaps they can invest in Venezuela or Cuba. Zimbabwe is begging for investment. There is always Communist China. Maybe buy up a bunch of EU windmills or any investment in Russia.

I don’t understand why the destroyer did not turn on its close in weapons systems radars & scare the crap out of the Russian pilots. If the Russians can practice attacks on our war ships, then why don’t our war ships respond in a like manner, turning on defensive radars & readying SAMs on board.

This should ALWAYS be done when an unknown aircraft approaches our warships in a threatening, warlike manner. Our warships & crews are too valuable to assume a threat is not a threat until too late.

I would tell Russia that if they want to risk losing their aircraft, try this stunt again. We will post the video of their warplane & pilot being shredded by our CIWS on Obama’s Facebook account.

In 1972 I got a summer job at a bakery in Switzerland.

Given my limited understanding of the language, I was given every menial task imaginable. One was working on the quiche making line.

My job was to plop the meat into the quiche from a vat of ground up meat. Just like in the Lucy episode, the line got faster & faster until I was throwing meat everywhere trying to keep up.

The supervisor saw what was happening & went ballistic. He must have called me everything in the book, none of which I understood, before he handed me a shovel & indicated I was to cleanup the meat mess around me.

So, I scrapped up the meat from the floor & headed to the trash can with the mess. Again, the supervisor went ballistic, & indicated that I must put the meat scraped from the floor, the mess I has been standing in, back into the meat vat, to be used to make the quiche. Yuk!

Since then, quiche has never touched my lips.

There is no possibility of a Cruz Presidency, or even his securing the GOP nomination.

If Cruz succeeds in winning enough delegates to deny Trump the nomination on the first convention ballot, then Cruz’s usefulness to the GOP will end right there. The GOPe will then nominate a RINO, not Cruz, who will lose badly to Clinton.

The GOPe will accept a Clinton Presidency so long as they retain their control of the party.

Yeah, it’s the weather alright. It is raining bullets & taxes.

But, before you Chicagoans pack your thongs & Speedos, consider this: It is HOT in Florida. Sweat all day hot. It rains a lot, making it steamy hot. It hot even by the pool. A/C is the only relief for 7 months of the year, though you will probably use it all year, so I hope you enjoy hibernating inside. It gives you plenty of time to pay that enormous power bill.

As for your car, plan on the need for a garage. Without it, your car will be an oven all day & into the night. Don’t even consider getting in the car wearing a bathing suit. Ouch, that’s a hot seat. Too, without a roof over your car your paint job cooks away. The salt air doesn’t help, either.

Then there are the bugs, lots of stinging, biting ones, all year long. Of course, the worst months are summer. And let’s not forget the hurricanes that can leave you with nothing but the clothes on your back.

Folks, the beach is a nice place to visit, but for most, a lousy place to live.

Let me say first that I think Obama is the worst president ever. I can’t stand the jerk.

That said, I don’t believe the President should be required to visit every terror site. He shouldn’t be held hostage to terrorist acts changing his schedule after every attack. That would make him a puppet to evil acts.

I’d much rather see the President speak harshly about terrorism & act to eradicate it. I’d rather see bombs falling on ISIS as a direct reply to their barbarism. Running to every terror site, crying less than sincere tears, making grand speeches, is a waste of time & energy. This doesn’t scare the terrorists, it amuses them.

Clinton’s solution is more police, more security lines, more body searches.

These are purely defensive acts, essentially waiting for more chaos. It will never defeat public acts of terror, but it will force the public to restrict their activities. Not only does this strategy affect public morale negatively, but it ultimately hurts the economy with lost sales from people too afraid to go out or too disgusted with a growing police state.

The solution to terrorism in the West is to severely restrict immigration, ruthlessly pursue the terrorists & their supporters already here, & when caught, execute, jail, or deport them ASAP, while bombing them to hell wherever we find them around the world.

Attacking them before they attack you again is the best method of winning this war. Playing defense is a losing game in the densely populated, cosmopolitan West without sacrificing freedom & commerce.

I remember visiting NYC 4 weeks after 9/11. The restaurants & bars were nearly empty. Broadway tickets were easy to get. The city seemed empty compared to what I had imagined it would be. This is what happens to a city that is terrorized.

This election is not about conservatives vs. liberals. We are way beyond that now. This election is about taking back our Federal government from the corruptocrats of BOTH parties that control it now.

This is a revolution, peaceful so far, but real. All revolutions begin when the people realize they cannot abide the tyranny of the government. The peace ends when they realize they cannot effect change peacefully.

There are no conservatives running for president now. Once again, the voters are given a choice of various big government plutocrats or an erratic outsider who promises to end their “get rich quick off the taxpayer” schemes.

Trump is the ONLY choice when the other candidates consistently ooze more debt, immigrants, unemployment & a weaker America. Trump is the only candidate who even acknowledges that this country is in decline. All the rest just want to tweak the system here & there. It needs a complete overhaul, a massive house cleaning.

Trump is the only candidate who MIGHT reverse the growing bureaucracy, corruption, & national decline. Its a big job; he may not be successful, or maybe he is just another big liar. But it is a sure thing the others will never address these problems even as they continue to enrich themselves, family, friends, & cronies.

The beauty of a Trump presidency is that if he proves to be a self interested liar, his voters will abandon him in 2020, losing reelection badly. His ego couldn’t accept that, so he is forced to satisfy his voters, his only political support, or go the way of Carter & Bush 41. Four years of political chaos may be just what the Republicans need to reform. Without Trump, no reformation will ever occur.

If Cruz’s people hired an illegal, shame on them.

At the same time, every employer in the USA, from a family needing a maid to a big farm, shouldn’t have to be an immigration agent. Employers are not police & shouldn’t be. It is in the employer’s best interest to check on potential employers, but the extent of the checking is limited by the employer’s ability to do so.

It is the Federal government’s responsibility to secure our borders & deport immigration law violators. That is the most rational way to deal with the problem as well as the most cost effective.

Our illegal immigration problem stems from 40+ years of Presidents who refused to enforce our EXISTING immigration laws, not employers whose only motivation is getting someone competent to do the job available.

The problem with Cruz, with all the Pub candidates except Trump, is that they are getting their money from rich donors who will expect to influence policy in return.

All new presidents begin immediately to campaign for the next election. That campaigning requires money, lots of it. A President Cruz, Rubio, or Kasich will have to satisfy their major donors if they expect more money.

This puts the rich donor class right back in the Presidential driver’s seat, molding policy to their satisfaction, & not necessarily to the satisfaction of the people who elected them.

If Cruz had refused all big donors & focused on a grass roots campaign, I would be backing him now. As it is, Cruz is owned just as all the others are, with the exception of Trump.

The entire House, including Ryan, are up for election in November. If Trump wins the nomination he will be campaigning in virtually every state. Pub Congressmen can either attend his huge rallies, or not. They can back him, or not. I pity those that don’t. Trump will skewer them.

A Congressional candidate, incumbent or newcomer, that rejects the party’s nominee for President becomes almost a 3rd party candidate. Rejecting Trump is rejecting his supporters. That is not a winning strategy.

After Trump is nominated we will see all his Pub detractors, like Romney, again gush about how swell he is. This is what they do. They are perpetual liars. It’s become a prerequisite to political success.

As head of the party Trump controls to whom the money flows. That has a big effect on Congress. Congress was neutered by Obama. Trump can easily do the same.

No, Trump cannot fire Congressmen, but he can fire the entire leadership of the party & replace them with his own people. He can fire all those friends, family, & cronies of the Congressmen in the government & in the party.

If Trump wins the Pub nomination, many of the Pub Congress critters up for election are gonna want his endorsement & the votes of his supporters. Thousands of political appointments in government are to be doled out by the new President. The nominee & eventual President carries enormous weight with the voters, & Obama has repeatedly shown a President can get his way despite a hostile Congress.

Trump doesn’t need Congress to enforce the existing immigration laws, which Presidents have ignored for decades. These laws have always been sufficient to stop illegal immigrants & send them back home, if they are enforced. Border agents routinely complain they are not allowed to do their jobs by their politically appointed superiors. If he chooses to withhold funds from sanctuary cities, who can force him to release the funds? No one. Congress proposes but the President disposes, or not.

As for trading away our liberties, the GOP leadership seems in lockstep with the Democrats in expanding government tyranny. While Trump is a bit of a question mark, it is a sure thing that if Rubio, Kasich, or Cruz becomes President, the rich power brokers will be back in business expanding government, immigration, the debt, taxes, & intrusion into private citizens lives, as they have for decades.

The Republican leadership is neither Republican nor Democrat, they are self serving plutocrats. They don’t represent conservatives or liberals, they represent themselves only.

If Trump becomes President he becomes head of the Republican Party, a party that has not served the interests of their base - conservatives. They have failed miserably at stopping Obama, hell, they haven’t even tried in most instances.

As party head, Trump has a responsibility to clean house in the party of the incompetents & failures, something that should have been done after the Romney failure of 2012. I believe he will do so, as does the party leadership. They are fighting hard to keep their power, influence, & high paying jobs, not to further the cause of conservatism.

It is as simple as this: If HRC wins in November, the GOPe keep their jobs. Same if Rubio, Cruz, or Kasish wins in November. But if Trump wins, the GOPe is out of jobs, power, influence, limos, big paychecks, & the pockets of taxpayers. Naturally, they are fighting a Trump Presidency tooth & nail. They will lie, cheat, steal, & maybe murder to stop him.

You have to be a pretty low scumbag to use cheating on your wife as an excuse to avoid admitting breaking the law.

Surely there must be many Bernie Democrats that understand that Hillary is fundamentally corrupt & self serving to the point of treason.

I believe they will vote for Trump in November, giving him a landslide win.

“Plus, fleeing to Mexico is the surest way to enrage President Trump.”

These people truly live in a bubble.

Neither Trump nor any lover of the USA will be enraged when the socialist nannies move south. On the contrary, most of us would help buy their one-way bus fare & dance with glee as they cross the border.

I’d like to see a web site dedicated to helping Liberals leave this country permanently. Create a page on the site of every Liberal who promises to leave, then allow people to pledge money to help them leave. Include a list of their un-American activities to motivate the pledges.

I’ll bet Rosie & Whoopie could get $1m in pledges each.

It might be instructive to these cretins to learn that so many people, The Donald included, would be happy to see them leave & never come back.

The “establishment” is terrified that their cushy, taxpayer funded lifestyles are gonna be lost, so they are paying the media/pundits to say ever wilder things.

The panic is obvious. I’m loving it.

There is another aspect of a Trump presidency that gets scant attention.

As a populist President elected by Pubs, Rats, & Indies while being rejected by the elites of both parties, Trump will be totally beholding to the people.

All first term presidents begin immediately to campaign for a second term. Trump will be at the mercy of those who elected him. If Trump fails to deal effectively with illegal immigration, if he fails to at least start a wall, he will lose his base of support & his second term. If he reneges on his other promises or turns hard Left, he will be the earliest lame duck president in history. His voters will abandon him.

Trump cannot turn to the elites for support, they despise him. His only path to reelection is to satisfy his base of support. And being a one term president would be an embarrassment Trump could not accept.

Trump doesn’t need Congress’s permission to secure the border and deport illegals. The laws are already on the books. He merely has to enforce existing laws, something no president has done in decades. That alone might secure his reelection.

I seriously doubt Trump will do anything to jeopardize his reelection, such as universal health care or some of his other odd ideas. His voters expect common sense solutions, not 10,000 page boondoggles.

All he really needs to do is make significant headway on illegal immigration, convince America it is great again, go after government waste, fraud, & abuse (EPA, IRS, ...), & give our enemies reason to fear us again. Trump doesn’t need the elites or Congress to do any of that.

As for health care, Trump need only tell Congress that they screwed it up & they can fix it to the satisfaction of himself & the people.

And if the people demand circuses as the Romans did, then Trump can indict Clinton & go after the corrupt Obama administration. It looks like Christie might be Trump’s AG. Christie seems like a man who would love to eat Hillary’s liver with fava beans for a snack. There is enough entertainment value here that Trump could run naked through the Senate & no one would notice, their eyes glued to the executions of the Clintons & the Obamas. Further, the rife corruption & cronyism in WDC is fertile ground for sowing indictments, giving Trump power & influence not available to his adversaries.

Trump will not have an easy presidency. He will only have the bully pulpit & the support of his voters. If he loses his voters, no one will listen to his bully pulpit. The people want their borders secure, their good jobs back, & to be proud of their country again. Trump can either begin to provide those things or be another Carter Or Bush 41, something Trump’s ego wouldn’t allow.
