I’ve been thinking that the NO vote will win.
The Scots, like the French Quebecers (sp?), are alike in that they like to moan and complain about how no one ever pays attention (more money, more autonomy, etc) to them - when, in fact, in the case of Ottawa and London, the opposite has occurred.
But when given the choice, French Quebec rejected (albeit narrowly) independence and so too will likely the Scots. In their worlds, it’s more fun to complain and demand things and not have to concern themselves about how they’re going to pay for it.
