    Two more women have told HuffPost that Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) touched their butts in separate incidents. These are the third and fourth such allegations against Franken in the past week. Leeann Tweeden, a radio host, wrote last week that Franken had kissed and groped her without her consent during a 2006 USO tour. On Monday, Lindsay Menz accused Franken of groping her at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010.

Al Franken was accused by a California sports radio broadcaster on Thursday of kissing and groping her without her consent in 2006 -- but the politician has a history of making crude remarks about sexually assaulting women. Franken, then a comedian, was quoted in a 1995 New York Magazine article discussing a skit for “Saturday Night Live” that involved drugging and raping CBS reporter Lesley Stahl.

The MedStar Washington Hospital Center provided an update on Scalise's condition Thursday afternoon after he underwent surgery for "the management of infection." Scalise "tolerated the procedure well," the hospital said. The hospital announced Wednesday night that Scalise had been readmitted to the intensive care unit in serious condition "due to new concerns for infection."
