At least Trump will fight the libbtard media back. Bush never did. He was like a human pinata.

Remember how frustrated we were for 8 long years because they would stand there like wimps and not fight back? And that 8 years doesn't even include all the "It.s Bush.s fault" garbage that we've been hearing since 2008. Do the math and we have at least 15 long years of pent-up frustration and anger from watching the pantywaist RINOs stick their heads in the ground when they're lied about.

The cumulative effect of watching the press attack Trump will be very different, though. Trump fights back! It.s so refreshing.

Go ahead, Rove. You just keep on thinking that garbage about how Trump and Cruz can be defeated. Hahahahaha!!! Look at what you created -- the mother of all backlashes! I would give $100 if i knew your FR screen name and could ping you to this.

I gotta admit I don’t think I could take 8 years of this crap with Trump and the media and the back and forth - it is exhausting to listen too.

Not sure, but I think it’s more difficult to win slander suits when you are a public figure.

End result of Trump lawsuit against liberal media:

    • Shows other conservatives how to handle liberal media
    • Provides free publicity
    • Generates 2 to 3 point bump in polls
    • Strengthens his reputation as The Man With Steel Balls
    • Future hesitation by liberal media to lie about him
    • Did I already mention more free publicity?

And, I remember a drawing of a plane crashing into the WTC ad this had been circulated amongst the Muslim community well before the attack. As I recall this was in NY or NJ.

It was on a calendar, iirc. A monthly calendar, i think.

Scroll up and look at the cartoon in #7. I don’t want Cruz to be in that position when all this is over. Because if he and Trump don’t make an agreement of some sort (soon!) before Cruz rises in the polls and becomes a threat, what do you think Trump will do? Sit back and do nothing? It’s not in Trump’s nature. His genetic DNA screams at him to fight like a junkyard dog.

That’s one of his best assets — he’s a fighter to the bitter end. Trump is an honorable person, but he’ll never let someone overtake him without fighting as if his life is on the line. That’s just who he is. EVEN if it’s Cruz who is the challenger.

Let’s just hope they’re already working together. And let’s hope they’re both wise enough and care enough about their country to not let the media pit them against each other in a death dual. Anyone paying attention can see the media manipulation has already started. Liberals are starting to pit them against each other by pushing Trump’s competitiveness gene “trigger.” (”Psssst!! Hey, Trump! Cruz is catching up with you.”)

Because the ideal situation would be to have a president AND vice-president who could both say they don’t owe any lobbyist or PACs any favors. (I don’t even know who Cruz big-money donors are. I looked it up a few weeks ago but forgot.) Don’t get bogged down in details. Just think of the big-picture situation where Trump and his VP owe ZERO favors to ANYONE beginning in January, 2017. Hit the ground running and take out the garbage.

Trump wouldn’t / couldn’t be involved directly — it would be up to Cruz and Trump supporters to get it started. But Trump WOULD have to provide at least a tacit approval of the idea or it would never fly. (I don’t even know if any of this is legal, but if it is, then why not? And again, I don’t have logistical details. I’m just bloviating and trying to head off an upcoming war between Trump and Cruz.)

If I were Cruz, I wouldn’t even accept 2nd place unless it was clearly to my advantage. Anything can happen between now and primaries; he could even overtake Trump and give him a good fight. But at what cost? Is he willing to tear the party apart? Because it will. FR is just a small example of what would happen on a very large scale if Trump and Cruz start duking it out. It’s a no-win situation for both of them, imo.

HOWEVER, if Cruz had a way to give back at least some of the PAC/lobbyist money he has taken (i.e., not owe money if he loses to Trump in the end), then he may consider playing it smart, being VP for 8 years, and THEN running for President. He’s young and he’s a professional politician — what ELSE is he going to do with his life? ;-)

Regardless of the above: IF Trump wins the primaries, Trump’s choice as VP needs to be as free as possible from owing anyone any favors. Trump’s team will be stepping on a LOT of toes if they are going to bulldoze through the garbage that is piled neck-deep in DC.

Why on Gods green Earth would Trump pay back Cruz donors????

Who said anything about Trump paying them? I said "we," not "he."

Would you be willing to chip in a few bucks if it meant Trump and Cruz could announce to America that they can't be bought and sold?

That's the biggest draw that Trump has -- his independence from PACs and lobbyists.

Like I said, I'll own it, as long as it's either Cruz or Trump. Screw the dems. Screw the liberal media. And especially screw the RINOs. No more caving or letting them manipulate us. All that matters this time is that we win because there won't BE a next time if we lose.

If I have to vote for big-government Trump, I will, ...

Good. At least now I can take you out of my "Dumbazz" column. 'Cause I was thinking I would've noticed it by now if you belonged in that category. And that would mean i just wasted 10 minutes I'll never see again. :)

... but while I still have a chance to vote for a conservative I'll hold out hope.

See? We DO agree on something. I'd much rather Cruz were in first place all this time instead of Trump because he's much better with the Constitution. But Cruz won't attract liberal cross-over votes. We have to get enough votes to overcome all the dead people, illegal immigrants, and felons who will be voting next November. If Cruz had Trump's outspoken, take-no-prisoners personality, he would be perfect, but he doesn't. Give him 8 years under Trump, though,...

The 2001 liberal press wasted no time in covering up what people were seeing. Just like they do now in 2015. Some things never change.

BTW, it’s irrelevant whether or not Trump remembers something correctly; the issue here is how the liberal scum media is trying to take one of our guys down. Again, some things never change.

And far away from the scene, the AP found itself in a tense situation with the Palestinian authorities. A free-lance photographer who captured images of Palestinians celebrating the attacks was apprehended by officials and told the material must not air. Phone calls in the name of the Tanzim Militia, an armed group associated with Yassar Arafat’s Fatah group, made threats on his life, and Arafat’s cabinet secretary said the Palestinian Authority could not “guarantee the life” of the cameraman if the footage was shown. As a result AP didn’t release the footage.

For days, an E-mail had circulated concerning the newsreel footage, first shown on CNN, of Palestinians celebrating in East Jerusalem in the hours after the attack; it was ten-year-old videotape, several people assured me, recycled from the Gulf War, when Iraqi missiles landed in Israel. (After I returned to New York, I checked CNN’s Web site, where conclusive evidence was posted that the claim of hoax was a hoax.)

Since the F.B.I. raid, community relations in Jersey City - which has a population of 240,000, 20 percent of whom are Arabs or of Arab descent - have deteriorated, and Jersey City has become rife with rumors: about Muslim celebrations in the wake of the trade center attacks, about violence against Muslim residents, about who might have been involved in the terror, who might have harbored conspirators.

Investigators also say they have no evidence of Arab-Americans publicly celebrating the September 11 terror attacks, despite numerous reports of such incidents over radio talk shows, via e-mail and in water-cooler conversations.

Accounts of Arab celebrations emanated from areas in Queens, Brooklyn and northern New Jersey that stand within view of the World Trade Center site, and from as far away as Detroit and St. Louis. The rumors sent law enforcement agents to Arab and Muslim neighborhoods and businesses.

In Paterson, N.J., home to the East Coast’s largest Arab-American community, police started receiving calls about street celebrations early on September 11, said Lt. Tony Traina of the Paterson Police Department. “Police responded to each call about a gang cheering,” although “no one was demonstrating,” he said, “except for out-of-towners coming in and waving the American flag.”

A police spokesman in Jersey City, Edgar Martinez, said that the police department there had not received any calls, despite news reports that police had questioned several people seen holding rooftop parties while they watched the aftermath of the terrorist attacks.

New Jersey State Police did stop five men near East Rutherford, N.J., on September 11, whose van matched the description of a vehicle whose occupants, witnesses said, had been celebrating and acting suspiciously that morning, according to Sgt. Al Della Fave. Police turned the men over to the FBI for questioning. The INS was reportedly checking their immigration status but were no longer investigating the alleged celebration.

It sounds like Rove and GOPe are going to try and steal the election.

They can try all they want. The masses are just too awake this time. Not gonna happen. Go to a Trump rally if you don't believe it yet. People are pissed. If Trump and Cruz would team up together now instead of risking losing this momentum, then nothing could stop them.

Message to Trump: I think you and Cruz should start a GoFundMe type of fundraising page and ask for contributions to Cruz so we can pay back his donors. Or at least put a big dent in it. Then Cruz (and you) would be free and clear from influence-peddlers and we could MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN and tell all the donors and lobbyists to take a hike. Please work together -- we have too much at stake!

    Anyone know if that's legal?

And not only THAT, but look at what the media is accomplishing with this. Just look at all the FR conversations and fighting about it over the past few days. We’re being played. Are Trump bashers so hung up on bashing that they’re going to allow themselves to be played, ONCE AGAIN, by democrats? Don’t be stuck on stupid. They’re laughing at everyone who spends more than 10 minutes discussing this. What friggin difference does it make? Who CARES if Trump ‘misremembers’ something? His “style” of not backing down scares them to death. Embrace it. With Cruz as his VP and then as President for another 8 years,... Can you imagine?!

ALL that matters is that we stick together this time. What will Trump-bashers do if Trump is defeated by this manipulative nonsense that’s designed to split us apart? Who’s going to be there to help you defend YOUR candidate from being taken down like this by democrats?

Trump could just admit as much and the story would wrap up harmlessly, but he's going to keep insisting he was right because that's his style. And his believers cling to his myth of infallibility.

Yeah, and if Cruz wins the primary then he'll be "infallable," too, at least when it comes to democrats and their lame stream media cohorts. Why do republicans always have to say they were mistaken to make the media move on, yet democrats lie and lie and lie, even when they don't HAVE to lie, and it's perfectly okay?

Nope. It's time we all quit cowing down to liars. It starts NOW. Why do you think Trump has been in the lead for months? Because he's stubborn and won't give an inch. And that's what it'll take to convince the 2017 Congress to help him undo all the damage done by ValJar and her sidekick.

Now, if Trump was a pedophile, THAT would stop me. But otherwise, he could do any of the following:

-Rape a woman and almost bite her lip off and generally be known as a serial groper who can’t stop attacking women.
-Turn our White House into a sex party house.
-Have his chief counsel take a dirt nap in Ft Marcy Park.
-Have another associate who was threatening to talk to Feds slam into the side of a mountain in perfectly good weather.
-Sell our secrets to China and Russia.
-Make a fortune from a mysterious cattle future trade.
-Hide his entire identity from everyone to the point of not even knowing where he was born.

Trump needs to hire his own people to stream these kind of events live over the Net. He could just bypass the media and stop expecting them to show the massive crowds turning out to see him. Ive thought this from day one when he first announced.

I wonder what OKeefe and his crew is doing these days?

I’m out of time so i’ll be brief:

    1. Radar: When he mentioned THE WALL, but he was just a blip at that point and nothing more.

    2. I chose him over the others when i finally became convinced he could control his impulsivity when circumstances required it. The latest example: Trump’s adroitness at making Jeb defend his brother and 9/11 was amazing to watch. Jeb fell for it, and the Trump had his pre-9/11 book to reference. Brilliant.

    3. Nope. If he wasn’t leading by a mile, I would still be undecided. Like i said, it’s pragmatism. We MUST win. And in order to win, we must ALL get behind one of them this time and be ready to dig in when the attacks get vicious (and they will.) Otherwise, the GOP-E will play us against each other, as usual, until their Flunkie is the only one left standing. And then he’ll lose in the general next year. Everyone KNOWS their Flunkie will lose, even THEM. But they don’t care! They’ll still have their perk$ and power.

THINK about that: The GOP-E does not care if they lose to the Democrats. They ONLY care that Trump or another outsider doesn’t win. Are you and the others here who dislike Trump (for whatever reason) willing to let that happen?

Carson and Cruz need to stand down and join the team. And I urge anyone reading this to send them that message. They are younger and their time will come, but ONLY if we can all circle the wagons around Trump to fight off what’s coming down the pike.

    - Because it will take a person with Trump’s unique skill set to begin to undo the damage done to our Republic by the last 3 presidents (if not more). If we’re lucky, we’ll make it to Nov 2016 and will have one more chance to save ourselves from this slide into communism.

    - Because Trump is not fixated on being politically correct and says what needs to be said. He loathes political correctness; he is brutally blunt; and his sense of timing is impeccable. But more importantly, people listen. It’s not just tea-party-minded people who are hearing him, but people from all walks of life, all racial and ethnic backgrounds, all socioeconomic levels, and all political ideologies. Can you say that about any of the others?

    - Because Trump would be the strongest person to run against Hillary or Biden or Bernie or whoever ends up with the DNC coronation. The NRA crowd will not vote for Carson, someone who is weak on the 2nd Amendment. The non-religious crowd and libertarian-minded people will be afraid to vote for Cruz because of his evangelical approach to social issues. And what are the chances that gay people would vote for Carson or Cruz? What about atheists & agnostics? Young people who don’t even know what socialism IS? And what about Hispanics and Blacks? Yes, Cruz is Hispanic and Carson is black, but once the primaries are over (and after Trump deftly handles the upcoming RNC attack ads), which one of these three candidates would be more likely to fight back against the inevitable media and DNC onslaught of negativity?

Carson is a nice guy, but his solution would be to blink his way through it. Cruz is a brilliant constitutionalist, but his solution would be to debate his way through it. Well, screw that. It will take a bulldog to loosen the UniParty’s death grip on our Republic. While Carson is blinking and Cruz is bloviating, Trump will be Trump and blast his way through it by rallying Americans around him and charging headfirst into the enemy camp. Even Rush and Levin seem to realize this.

    - Because we need to consolidate our efforts NOW to avoid a repeat of previous elections, where conservatives allow themselves to be divided against each other during the primaries while the GOP-E candidate (Jeb, Mittens, McCain, etc.) stands by laughing at the idiocy and ignorance of the “tea-bagger crowd.” In THIS election cycle, the last one in which we’ll even have a chance to win, the stakes are too high to lose, and for reasons stated above, Trump is the logical answer. Frankly, if Cruz and Carson cared about our country more than themselves, they would realize the obvious and reach out to Trump to create an unstoppable triad.

If your candidate choice is someone other than Carson or Cruz, don’t even bother responding.

I hope that helps. And just so you know, Trump is not my first choice, but this is a time for pragmatism :-)

I saw this video last night also, minutes after Drudge linked it. My immediate thought was that the states need to be on top of this just like some of them have already passed proactive 2nd A laws to prevent the Feds from overreaching. I have no idea how that would work, but hopefully it’s applicable.

Gov Abbott, I hope you’re paying attention!

Hey, Rand Paul. Texans say when he's done, not you. Here's a little Ray Wylie Hubbard ditty you can cry yourself to sleep with every night as you wallow in your 1% polling numbers.

    We're from Texas: Screw You"

There, there... sweetie... It'll be okay. If you hurry along, it might not be too late to get yourself reelected as a state Senator.

Cruz is my first choice. By a long shot, even. But you don’t still think any ONE conservative is capable of winning the GOP nomination, do you? He’s tough and stands firmly on constitutional ground, but with... what... about 97 million people now depending on the Dems to feed them, and more coming across the border every day, it ain’t gonna happen.

Do you trust Cruz and Palin’s judgment? If no, why are you here?

If yes, then why would they be doing what they’re doing? Can we agree that her first choice would be Cruz? She could not POSSIBLY put anyone on her short candidate list in front of Cruz. Right?

Now think about this: Do you think that Palin would be talking publicly about wanting a job in a Trump administration if she had not first talked to Cruz.abiut strategy? Would she stab Cruz in the back like that? I think not.

And Cruz is a realist. He knows that everyone born before the mid-90s doesn’t have a clue what it’s like to live in a patriotic, financially sound USA.

Cruz’s time will come. First let the Doberman clear a path and show the dumb azz LIVs that it won’t kill them to vote in the Republican ticket.

** Because in so doing, he’s taking oxygen away from the Constitutional conservative you and I both know is desperately needed to save this nation, Ted Cruz.**

There are times in life when you need a Doberman or German Shepherd to take the lead for you because anything that resembles docility just won’t have a sufficiently strong personality or stature to reach the jugular. This is especially true when you’re being pushed off the cliff and have just one more chance to be rescued.

It’s a fact that Daschunds THINK they’re Dobermans. If you were on the edge of the cliff, about to fall into the black hole of historical oblivion, which one would be more useful to you at that moment?

Great tagline. Mind if I use it?
