the infielder had already broking off the ball before the ump raised his hand.

Talk about clueless, there is no way to judge a infield fly by listening to the radio.

“but it is there to protect the team at bat”

Correct, and there was no advantage by him not catching that ball, he could not have thrown any of the the runners were he was. Third would have been at best a close play as runner was 1/3 of the way there waiting for him to drop the ball.

The player positioned in the infield moved away from the catch to allow the outfielder to catch the ball.

The rule only applies to infielders.

In this case the outfielder should have made the catch because the infielder thought he called him off.

So the outfielder actually missed the ball and no infield fly rule applies

My issue is, if we accept Romney then:
Republican party never changes, they got my vote with doing the same ole same ole. We get BIG Govt spending elitist type Republican.

Or I can say no, I'm not supporting Romney
Obama better chance to become President
But Republican party knows they can no longer take my vote for granted and has to change or new party takes over.

I think a good Conservative can take 65% of the vote from Romney just like you saw in many of the 2008 primaries when it was Tea Party verse Republican.
Once the tide turns about mid way through the election cycle and polls and stuff reflect the 65% (right) support for Romney, say polls are
    Obama 45%
    Conserve 30%
    Romney 20%
Those Republican will drop Romney who was a fake to begin with and jump on with the conservative. Remember his biggest plus right now is suppose to be “he can beat Obama”, take that away and he's nothing.

Then the Independents start jumping on board because I believe most favor small govt over Obama’s big govt plans.
    WE WIN!

I used to do that until I became a Christian.
I would only go on Easter and Christmas.

My Church only had the same people that show up every Sunday. Normal 90% of members, couple of families may be sick or Traveling.

    My guess as to why?
At that time I thought I was a Christian but I wasn't. I was member of a church that allowed me to be member but never said anything or seem to care if I was there or not.
I guess you could say I thought I was a Christian because I was brought up in a Family that said they were Christians, so I assumed I was. Went to Sunday School and stuff as a kid. I would pretty much do anything I wanted and thought I was OK because I was a Christian.

I sense have learned I was wrong, To be a Christian you have to be like Christ, Let Christ rule your life, etc….

    As for the Church
We don't celebrate Easter as many do once a year.
Every Sunday we remember and focus on Jesus sacrifice and resurrection when taking the Lord's Supper. As Jesus said “Do THIS in remembrance of Me” when handing out the bread and fruit of the vine.
Paul restated this to the Church in 1 Cor 11. Other passages showed they did this on the 1st day of the week.
I feel every Sunday is pretty much the same as Many celebrate Easter.
Can't find where God / Jesus / His Apostles every taught anything about celebrating Easter or like once a year so we don't do it. Not Judging others as people putting one day over another really doesn't matter unless it impacts what God does say. Example if you say we only remember Jesus death once a year and don't do it when he asked then it may become a problem. I don't think many do that, like the ones you see at Church all the time.

“And We Danced” - The Hooters
    “Dance Naked” - John Couger

My fav Dance Lyrics is “Dance Little Jean” by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band / John Denver

I played a wedding for the money,
And I wished I could’ve told the bride and groom
Just what I think of marriage,
And what’s in store after their honeymoon.

And I was grumblin’ to the dancers
About how men and women ought to live apart,
And how a promise never made can not be broken,
And can never break a heart.

Then suddenly from out of nowhere,
A little girl came dancing ‘cross the floor.
And all her crinolines were billowing
Beneath the skirt of calico that she wore.
Oh what a joy fell on the honored guests
As each one of them was drawn into her dream,
And they laughed and stamped and clapped their hands
And hollered at her “Dance little Jean.”

    And they said
Dance little Jean, this day is for you,
Two people you love, stood up to say “I do.”
Dance little Jean, the prayer that you had
    Was answered today,
    Your mama’s marrying your dad.

Well, my cynical heart just melted
‘Cause I figured what this get together meant.
How it ended years of tears and sad confusion
That the little girl had spent.
And they told the band to pack it up
About the time the couple cut the cake,
But we played as long as they stayed
For love and laughs and little Jeanie’s sake.

    And we played
Dance, little Jean, this day is for you,
Two people you love, stood up to say “I do”
Dance little Jean, the prayer that you had
    Was answered today,
    Your mama’s marrying your dad.

It was answered today, your mama’s marrying your dad.

I think your analogy falls way short. If you fell in love with a woman who did not love you back, and you decided as a result to kidnap her and torture her to death, that would make you less loving. Would any reasonable person not deem you a monster?

It’s the new man that kidnaps and tortures her in my analogy. (Satan / Devil)
The man that loves her who she refused does all he can to prevent that.

In my case, I will be tortured (supposedly) because I studied the evidence carefully (I have a four year degree in Biblical Studies), and have decided that the evidence is insufficient. That’s my crime. It’s like asking a jury to weigh the evidence, then punish them if they make a mistake. Not just punish them, but torture them without end. How does that square with love and mercy?

If I fell in love with a woman who did not love me back and refused to be with me does that make me any less loving?

Then that same woman falls in love with another man who did not love her or show mercy to her, does that make me any less loving or merciful.

Then that same woman new love abuses her and treats her in ways I told her I never would, does that make me less loving

Yet this whole time I told her I would take care of her and protect her from this torment despite her refusing me, that would make me even more loving and merciful.

But in the end she dies because she refused my offer I'm am no less loving and merciful, it's the same way with God. He even went further by send his Son to die (get abused by that other man) to take on that punishment I deserved.

Agree, nothing about Baptism conflicts with the verse you provided:

4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

The only time baptism is referred to as a work, it is referred to as a work of God not man.

    Colossians 2:
Col 2:9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; 11 and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; 12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God , who raised Him from the dead.

    This verse shows baptism:

    1. You are buried with Him

    2. Raised up with him

Faith = the one being baptized

    Work = of God

It is God who washes away the sin, it is us who have faith he could do that. Baptism is NOT a work to justify our salvation through a system of perfect law keeping, Baptism is men having faith that God/Jesus can wash away our sins.

Acts 2:38 - Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sin, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

Baptism is no more a work then Faith, Repentance

All the following verses talk about Baptism specifically in the context of salvation. In fact they all show it come before salvation.

    Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Acts 22:16 and 1 Peter 3:21

Look at water baptism as a point in time when God washes away your sins. Don't look at it as a work or anything your doing to EARN your salvation, but as a way to receive God's grace and forgiveness of sins.

Saying baptism saves you just isn’t supported by scripture. Baptism is an EXTERNAL proclamation of what has spiritually already happened to you.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mk 16:15-16)

I Peter 2:21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,)
Jesus and Peter said that baptism saves, the scriptures are full of verses that discuss Baptism in the context of salvation.

It would be wrong for me to take a verse like I Peter 2:21 and say Faith, repentance, confession, blood of Jesus is not a part of salvation because they are not mentioned in that verse.

Baptism is like putting on a wedding ring - the ring doesn’t make you married, but it serves as an open symbol of the union. Asking Christ into your heart as your Savior, in acknowledgement of His sacrifice as a forgiveness of your sinful nature, is what saves you - it’s a personal relationship and requires no outside entity or substance to seal the deal - His Love and Grace do that.

Baptism is not a symbol, if is way more then that
Colossians 2:8-12 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; 11 and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; 12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

    1. It is not a work of men but it is a work of God
    2. It is act of Faith on our part that God can cleanse us from our sin
    3. It is not spiritual baptism he is talking about, we do not come out of or raised up from spiritual baptism
    4. It is not a profession of our faith, Ethiopian was Baptized on the road, on the way home, did not have to wait to show people

I have a friend that used to play pro B-Ball in Europe. Made a killing and saved all the money because all expenses were paid.
Came back to the US and started a real estate investment business with that money and made a lot more.
Same time he worked for well know sports agent as financial adviser for the NBA, NFL, MLB players. Oh the stories he would tell were sad, how people would not listen to any advice. Example would be player wants to by mom a nice home, he would advise them to buy the mom a business in the area that would allow her to buy her own nice home and more. players would not do it.
He owned a lot of the ATL area players homes as they went bankrupt, he bought them cheap as the players went broke, lived in Million dollar home he bought for 350,000 as example.

    Agree

We all have a “Right to bear arms”

Does that mean the govt or police, or private company has to provide arms?

Am I not understanding this women rights issue??

Very nice, agree Christians can get caught up in their works and forget about the grace the Lord provided us.

But some take it to far both ways:
Some are all grace not works types
Some are all works no grace types

key is balancing both, never forget you are unworthy without God’s grace, let that motivate your love for god, then as Jesus said:

John 14:15 - “If you love me you will keep My commandments”
John 15:10 - “”If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love”

    Romney's response will be:
“it nothing to get angry about”

If I was Santorum I would put and add up:
With this issue then Romney saying “”it nothing to get angry about”
Then show Town Hall meeting clips then Romney saying “”it nothing to get angry about”

    etc.....

If scientists can determine how tau jumps from neuron to neuron

I’m not close to being a scientist, but it seems like it would be pretty hard to determine HOW it happens, seem like it would be hard then finding out THAT it happens.

Good work, hope they can find something that helps.

Yes, he was so rude, I will never vote for him. I think he may win if he does I hope a 3rd party runs or I'm not voting
