In politics, November 2004 is a couple of light years of who-knows-what away. But I'll venture a guess now about the presidential election. Assuming he still wants the job, and he hasn't totally tanked the economy, George W. Bush will be re-elected. John Edwards will not be the next president. Nor will John Kerry, Howard Dean, Richard Gephardt, Joe Lieberman, Tom Daschle, Bob Graham, Wesley Clark or (he's got to be kidding) Al Sharpton.
