I drove my CJ-5 for years on the hills of SFO. Going from a full stop on a 30 percent grade kept your legs in great shape and the clutch lasted over five years. Brought the beast back from Nicaragua where the plates don’t have annual tags; cops never gave me a ticket!! Even on Friday night on Union avenue.
The sled was designed to leak. There was no sealant that could withstand the temperature of the skin at speed. Once the plane warmed up, the tanks expanded and the leaks stopped. In flight the plane grew by 11 inches due to thermal expansion.
As someone who has spent a lot of time in India, it take a while to realize that there is two countries. The great unwashed and the governing elite. Don’t ever think that the elite could not defend itself. India is a major military force, with FULL nuclear capability.

As a traveler with numerous trips to India, and seeing the abject poverty displayed everywhere throughout my travels, a child does not survive without developing an incredible immune system. The filth that is EVERY WHERE is mind numbing. Every morning I soaked a t-shirt to make a mask so I could breath. Mumbai has no birds; the ones who fly in drop out of sky dead from the wretched air control. I’ve been to every major city spread across the country and found a clean area.
We ran a comparison test on those finger tip sensors here at our local hospital using the main, very expensive hospital unit as the base.

This goes back 50+ years ago..
I played a mean game of two man volley ball on the strand in Manhattan Beach. Young, 6’7”, 250 lbs - could go all day in that hot sand.
And then one day, Wilt came over and asked for a game. I haven’t the faintest memory who we played with, all I know is I got trashed. Wilt would vault and spike one right through my hands into my face. It never stopped. I felt like I had been put through a meat tenderizer. Great moves, reactions like a snake, and a great guy. Best time in my life sharing a few post game beers!
