Dropping all the other stuff as the Benghazi cover-up is unraveling makes you wonder how bad it could be. The IRS finally gave it up on the politically motivated audits and the Justice Dept. gave it up on the AP phone records so basically elements of the administration threw out these other two scandals which had been percolating in the background for years and may have remained there. Now the media is running in all directions.

I understood Christie to be giving an honest opinion about the cooperation he got on Hurricane Sandy and was not giving Obama an endorsement.

I go to Chick Fil A regularly, both before and after the support Chick Fil A day and I can tell you that the best thing that can happen for Chick Fil A is for the Gays to keep up the boycott. The ones around me are packed every day.

I’ve known three same sex couples in my life. They were all kind, loving and generous people which is why they were my friends. I find their sexual practices repugnant but their lifestyle and other behavior exemplary. Their behavior toward each other mimics that of my wife and I. They seemed to have found much joy in life together and lead productive lives that support God’s creation. One of the couples in particular produce works which support their faith. I’ve read all the scriptures that touch on homosexuality but it is difficult to reconcile in my mind that what brings them together in a loving relationship is sinful. As noted in the article the same can be said for the man and his guitar and the woman and the dolphin. I will continue to obey God when asked he us to love one another and I will trust that God will make the final judgement when they reach the gates of paradise. All my friends sin in various ways and I regularly pray for them and me.

I have personally dealt with this zoning officer on a professional level and found him to be less than forthcoming thereby raising my suspicions. I am a real estate appraiser who has spent 30 years studying market reaction to the locational and physical characteristics of real estate and make no mistake good real estate agents do more than simply provide access to properties. It the go go days a few years ago you could easily sell a home on your own but in normal times and especially right now a good agent is essential to effectively marketing your property.

I had a tax problem and googled her firm as well as all the others with the loud annoying adds that seem to go on and on. Many of these advertise on Conservative radio programs. I found complaint after complaint about all these firms all over the internet.

I spoke with my CPA and attorney and they told me they were all McDonalds-like outfits with inexperienced clerical people following a script. If your situation didn’t follow the norm or you got lost in the sauce you were screwed.

I ended up engaging a tax attorney who specialized in my problem and things seem to be working out in my favor.

I’d love to see the inner city rebuild its commercial base with local private money rather than my tax funds. It will also build a sense of ownership and pride.

The biggest problem in the Black community from my prospective is the victim mentality and the race hustlers milking the system. I like the idea of them solving their problems their way, with their ingenuity and innovation. The urban Black community has tremendous resourcefulness and potential that remains largely untapped.

On one hand it certainly is racist but, look at it this way, maybe its the beginning of a movement to stop being victims and help themselves like other ethnic minorities have over the years rather than looking for handouts from the country at large.

I think most ethnicities in this country have practiced this until they have become assimilated. If it improves their lot in life and relieves the taxpayer of a burden I say; bravo!

I have come to the conclusion that I love my Creator in gratitude for the gift of life and I try to love my fellow man because it is my Creator’s wish that I do so. All the other stuff is subordinate relative to those two Commandments.

Accepting women preachers versus alienating many modern women and their children seems like a loving thing that is supportive of God’s creation as long as the spirit of the law and love of God as evidenced by Jesus Christ is always paramount.

The gift of faith was given to me by my mother and reinforced by the example my mother and father lived.

When I meet my Creator some day I hope that I will have to justify loving too much rather than loving too little.
