I was watching a Chuck Baldwin sermon on John chapter 7 titled "Elitists have always hated Jesus". It is one of three sermons on a DVD labeled "Christ and the Pharisees". We had a bit of a scare this evening. It was after dark. Several LE vehicles on the roads around our house shining spotlights, soon joined by a helicopter. Obviously looking for someone. Before the helicopter joined, I had thought it might be an exercise, but one of the neighbors said our county can't afford a chopper for a practice run. FORT WORTH - An undercover police officer was in critical Thursday night after being shot in the chest. At least one suspect was taken into custody. Officials said the shooting occurred about 5:20 p.m. at the E-Z Mart store at New York and Elmwood avenues in southeast Fort Worth, where four undercover officers had made a drug purchase. Our family finds ourselves in a unique dilemma. Six years ago, we moved to the country, and befriended our neighbors' grandmother. We learned from the grandmother, that the granddaughter was abusive towards her. We also learned, that our neighbor was a liar and a drunk, and is capable of the abuse alleged. Five or so years ago, our neighbor dumped her grandmother into a nursing home. In the first few months, the neighbor went back twice to visit her grandmother.
