At least one of the 500 is schizo, and should not be weaponized. The one in the center of the dot over the letter “i”. “Oops. Shot the kid and not the parent. Oh, well.”

A civil war is inevitable in any republic/democracy.What America had with the CSA was not "civil war". It was one country (USA) warring against another country (CSA). The North Started it by violating the Armistice between the USA and S.C...

I didn't know that until last week. I'm STILL un-learning my publik skool ejumucashun.

What you said, AND he does NOT know his Scripture. No, I didn’t read his rebuttal of the Luke passage. If he came out anything but “sell you cloak and get the best military equivalent of today”; he’s wrong.

Just curious; do you own a doughnut shop or have other financial interests in perpetuating a multi-class caste system in America?

“settled law”? Why should we require citizens to commit suicide by exercising a natural law right to self defense?

Yes I am an attorney. But, do not quote to me “the law” to justify your position. If your justification for your position is “the supreme Court says so,” then you have no position.

Just because it is the law doesn’t make it lawful. Just because it is the law, doesn’t make it reasonable or logical. Just because it is the law doesn’t make it moral. Just because it is the law doesn’t make it just. Just because it is law doesn’t make it Constitutional. Just because the court issues an opinion doesn’t make it legal, moral, or Constitutional.

“But, unfortunately, law by no means confines itself to its proper functions. And when it has exceeded its proper functions, it has not done so merely in some inconsequential and debatable matters. The law has gone further than this; it has acted in direct opposition to its own purpose.

The law has been used to destroy its own objective: It has been applied to annihilating the justice that it was supposed to maintain; to limiting and destroying rights which its real purpose was to respect. The law has placed the collective force at the disposal of the unscrupulous who wish, without risk, to exploit the person, liberty, and property of others.

It has converted plunder into a right, in order to protect plunder. And it has converted lawful defense into a crime, in order to punish lawful defense.” Frederic Bastiat, The Law

Missouri is NOT "Constitutional Carry"! There are severe limitations placed on us "unwashed masses" that do NOT pertain to "permit" holders.

    If he wins.

The USSC has been wrong in the past, they could get it wrong again, and again, and again...

IIRC, unlawful and illegal have different meanings. It might be LEGAL to do, or not do something; that could be lawful to do, or not do and vice verse.

or, am I wrong yet again?

Most accurate assessment I have found to date:

I am driving my Mazda CX-5, listening to Bob Dylan really loud, singing along, with my eyes closed and not paying attention. My speed creeps up from the Guam limit of 35 mph to 65 mph. I don't see a school zone (because my eyes are closed) and I run over seven little kids killing six of them and crippling the seventh for life. I then fail to stop and continue on home dragging the body of one of the dead brats under my car for three or four miles. Can I now avoid prosecution for speeding, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, manslaughter and possibly murder by claiming there was no intent to break the law? If so I can thank Mr Comey the FBI director because this the excuse he just gave Hillary Clinton and set it as a precedent in US law.

Either the rule of law has just been perverted though political corruption or there are two sets of laws, one for most people and another for high level politicians. Neither of these is a good thing.

Can you get all of the previous into a sound bite?

Another great book is "To Keep or Not to Keep; Why Christians Should Not Give Up Their Guns" by Timothy Baldwin, J.D. & Charles O. "Chuck" Baldwin, D.D.

Pacifist Christians should read it to find out why they're wrong, and the rest of us Christians should read it to put a crowbar in our our spines as a stiffener. Certainly covers the OT, but there is much more in the NT beyond the Luke passage to consider. Exegetically sound.

Bring your thoughts of Christianity and the need for our country to repent, here.

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Pretty unambiguous. It's not the reprobates who are messing up this country; it's the Christians who have turned their backs on God, and dropped out. I'd like to blame the 501c3 churches...

I was raised catholic. I can empathize with your agnosticism.

Oh, to have the time to discuss and dispute (dispute these two “It is not statistically significant. ... But faith is subjective.”). God answers every prayer, every time. A lot of times (in my particular case) His answer is “No!”.

When asked “What denomination do you belong to?” I say I’m a Contra-Arminian. (I used to say I was “Calvinist”, but there’s too many ways to mis-understand that term in the wrong way.)

When asked “What religion are you?” I reply; TULIP, Five Solas, 2nd London baptist CoF of 1689, NO crissmass, NO easter, NO 501c3, Romans 8:28, Pre-1940 Bible translations... If I get a blank stare, I’m not going to be “visiting” their church. I’d be thrown out or asked to NOT return, for asking questions.

My Beloved and I get pretty lonely on occasion. We don’t have many available churches to choose from, that we could stomach attending. We bought a bunch of Chuck Baldwin sermons on DVD last May, and have been watching one or two a week since then. One of his sermons got me to join Oath Keepers, and I’m taking the requisite steps to join the Missouri Militia. They vote me in-or-out next training meeting.

Wonder how God will answer this one “Lord, please have someone gift me an AR-10 with all the attachments, and ammo to feed it; before the election.”.

So, somebody call TC and ask if they'd make a rifled, 12" 20 Ga. barrel, and get Ruger to make a Red Label with 12" rifled barrels. They'd sell a couple million of each; quickly. Back-orders until 2018-ish or later.

In the case of the United States, it was still an open question as of 1859 what degree of sovereignty actually lies with the several states which formed These United States. The war settled that question.

    Might makes right?

    Auto-excerpt didn't work.

Yeah, it was 2006. My mom just sent me a HIGHLY excerpted EMail that painted a skewed picture. The full story brought to mind many questions. Why a 62% hit ratio from a "highly trained" SWAT team, and the 9 that fired only carried 12 rounds each? Among other questions.

    Search didn't find it...
