Pronghorns did have difficulty getting over fences early on in the fencing of the west because they had simply never encountered them before, which is understandable. Over generations they have slowly learned.

Their biggest problem is they like to save energy and plowing through snow takes a lot of effort, so they tend to favor following train tracks where trains have broken through the snow for them.

As a consequence they sometimes find themselves on tracks between two fences when a train comes, and not much room to leap, so they try to outrun the train on the tracks instead. Splat.

They have been slow learners at getting over fences because unlike deer in wooded country they have less need for high jumping, though they are excellent long jumpers. But they are learning to adapt as time goes by to fencing in general, by watching each other’s solutions and failures at getting over or under the wire in open country. The problem is they’re probably not adapting well to fencing along railways ... because these snow free or minimally drifted areas are so attractive to them that they bunch up there and the whole group gets killed in one instant. There’s not as many experienced survivors to pass on a solution to this type of barrier...and since they can use the tracks and get trough the fencing leisurely many times in complete safety they may be overconfident and unwary of the danger when their use of the tracks happens to coincide with an oncoming train.

“It’s about the only way you can do them,” said Edwin Bowers, director of field operations for the federal tick eradication program. “You can’t hunt them on the ground successfully, they’re extremely wary and fast and you can’t get close to them. These animals can spread the ticks to places where there are cattle. We’re obligated to get the ticks off of them however we can.” The USDA has been battling the tick (Boophilus microplus and Boophilus annulatus) for a century, enlisting cowboys to patrol a narrow tick eradication zone that runs about 500 miles along the eastern Texas-Mexico border.

Ottoman Islamic art does depict angels, especially Gabriel, in flight, and this has the same flavor as the one in the photo right down to the green wings, but for one detail. So does Persian art... and there is a fantastic series of Islamic paintings from India or thereabouts that were used to illuminate an epic tale - paintings which the current crop of muslims would get their panties in a bunch over their depiction of Mohammed. The one detail, though, is the halo in this picture. I don’t recall seeing Muslims using the halo in their depictions of Gabriel or other angels as Christians do.
Of course it could be they’re secular enough not to care what cultural style Gabriel is done in and just like angels.

Here's the Bush Admin designating two branches of the IIRO back in 2006:

    Here['s] the Treasury Press Release:
    August 3, 2006
    hp-45
Treasury Designates Director, Branches of Charity Bankrolling Al Qaida Network

The U.S. Department of the Treasury today designated the Philippine and Indonesian branch offices of the Saudi-based International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) for facilitating fundraising for al Qaida and affiliated terrorist groups. Treasury additionally designated Abd Al Hamid Sulaiman Al-Mujil, the Executive Director of the Eastern Province Branch of IIRO in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

"Abd Al Hamid Sulaiman Al-Mujil, a high-ranking IIRO official in Saudi Arabia, has used his position to bankroll the al Qaida network in Southeast Asia. Al-Mujil has a long record of supporting Islamic militant groups, and he has maintained a cell of regular financial donors in the Middle East who support extremist causes," said Stuart Levey, Treasury's Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI). "Today we are holding him to account."

The IIRO was established in 1978 and, according to its website, the organization has branch offices in over 20 countries in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. "It is particularly shameful when groups that hold themselves out as charitable or religious organizations defraud their donors and divert funds in support of violent terrorist groups," said Levey. "We have long been concerned about these IIRO offices; we are now taking public action to sever this link in the al Qaida network's funding chain."

Today's action was taken pursuant to Executive Order 13224, which is aimed at detecting and disrupting financial flows to terrorists. Under this authority, U.S. persons are prohibited from engaging in transactions with the designees, and any assets they may have under U.S. jurisdiction are frozen.

    IDENTIFIER INFORMATION

    Abd Al Hamid Sulaiman Al-Mujil
Abd Al Hamid Sulaiman Al-Mujil (Al-Mujil) is the Executive Director of the IIRO Eastern Province (IIRO-EP) branch office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al-Mujil has been called the "million dollar man" for supporting Islamic militant groups.

Al-Mujil provided donor funds directly to al Qaida and is identified as a major fundraiser for the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) and Jemaah Islamiyah (JI). Both ASG and JI are al Qaida-associated terrorist groups in Southeast Asia designated pursuant to the authorities of E.O. 13224. These terrorist groups are also on the United Nations 1267 Committee's consolidated list of individuals and entities associated with the Taliban, al Qaida and/or Usama Bin Ladin.

In 2004, Al-Mujil invited a Philippines-based JI supporter to Saudi Arabia under the cover of traveling for the hajj (the Muslim pilgrimage), and planned to provide him with cash to carry back to the Philippines to support organizations including JI.

Al-Mujil was also present in Afghanistan in the late 1990s and personally knew Usama Bin Ladin and deceased al Qaida co-founder Abdallah Azzam. Al-Mujil traveled continuously to meet with members of Bin Ladin's organization in Arab countries. In the 1990s, Al-Mujil established a relationship with senior al Qaida operational planner Khalid Shaykh Muhammad.

Al-Mujil has a long history of providing support to terrorist organizations. He has contributed direct financial assistance to ASG leaders, including Abdurajak Janjalani (deceased).

The Indonesian and Philippines branches of IIRO have received support from IIRO-EP, which in turn is controlled by Al-Mujil. Indeed, he is often responsible for authorizing payment transfers for IIRO Philippines (IIRO-PHL) and IIRO Indonesia (IIRO-IDN).

      Name: Abd al-Hamid Sulaiman Al-Mujil

    AKAs:
                Dr. Abd al-Hamid Al-Mujal
Dr. Abd Abdul-Hamid bin Sulaiman Al-Mu'jil
    Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-Mu'ajjal
    Abd al-Hamid Mu'jil
    A.S. Mujel

    DOB:  Abu Abdallah
    Nationality: Saudi Arabian
International Islamic Relief Organization, Philippines Branch Offices

The IIRO-PHL is a source of funding for the al Qaida-affiliated ASG. IIRO-PHL has served as a liaison for the ASG with other Islamic extremist groups. A former ASG member in the Philippines familiar with IIRO operations in the country reported that a limited amount of foreign IIRO funding goes to legitimate projects and the rest is directed to terrorist operations.

The Philippine branches of the IIRO were founded sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s by Muhammad Jamal Khalifah, who is Usama bin Laden's brother-in-law and has been identified as a senior al Qaida member. IIRO-PHL's director, Abd al-Hadi Daguit, is a trusted associate of Khalifah.

While working as the director of IIRO-PHL, Khalifah maintained close connections with al Qaida through his relations with senior al Qaida supporters, including Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) Wa'el Hamza Julaidan. At the time Khalifah directed the IIRO-PHL, he employed an ASG intelligence officer as the provincial director of the IIRO-PHL in the Tawi-Tawi region of the Southern Philippines until that officer's death in 1994.

In the mid 1990s, a major ASG supporter, Mahmud Abd Al-Jalil Afif, served as the director of the IIRO-PHL and used the organization to funnel money to terrorist groups including the ASG. Afif was implicated in the assassination of Father Salvatore Carzeda in San Jose Gusu, Zamboanga City, Philippines on June 20, 1992.

The IIRO Indonesia director has channeled money to two Indonesia-based, JI-affiliated foundations. Information from 2006 shows that IIRO-IDN supports JI by providing assistance with recruitment, transportation, logistics, and safe-havens. As of late 2002, IIRO-IDN allegedly financed the establishment of training facilities for use by al Qaida associates.

When we went into Libya what did we find there, working on establishing a nuclear program there?
An Iraqi nuclear scientist named Obeidi... the same guy in whose “rose garden” back in Iraq were found the buried prototype for a uranium enrichment centrifuge along with a pile of blueprints and other research materials, all of which were supposed to have been declared and presented to the arms inspectors for destruction years before rather than kept to restart a program once sanctions were lifted.
Bush said all along Saddam had to go because the regime intended to RECONSTITUTE its nuclear program and because the regime consistently failed to live up to its cease fire obligations...and because Iraq had been providing training and ID to terrorists...and because Iraq’s development of long range missiles was a violation of its agreements. And that was true; Iraq never did live up to its obligations and stood in the way of verification every step of the way... and right up to the invasion new items were being found that had not been accounted for, as you can read in David Kay and Duelfer’s reports.
When Obeidi told the press all about how Saddam had given up on nukes - though the only reason Iraq failed to turn over the prototype and decided to hide it instead was because it thought it might need it to reconstitute its program - he forgot to mention Saddam’s program at the moment was outsourced to Libya, among other places, and forgot to mention his employment [and the employment of other Iraqis] by Qadaffi and no doubt, the Syrians, whose program, which included Nork technicians and scientists, was stymied for a moment by the Israeli strike.

But then the press pretty much completely missed the whole Qadeer Khan network and never did name all the countries- at least 7- which were directly involved in that network, a network which existed for the purposes of dispersing portions of each country’s WMD programs to bypass the inspection process. And the press didn’t linger very long over whose house KSM was captured in and its owner’s connections to the global proliferation business that was the AQKhan Network.

But then the press also overlooked that one of the terms Saddam was supposed to meet was to return all POWs from its invasion of Kuwait more than ten years before...originally over 900 people ... as well as additional POWs from its war with Iran before that [most of whom turned up dead and stored in a warehouse in Basra, others in mass graves] ... and also overlooked was that Iraq had an American civilian imprisoned in Abu Ghraibh who was only released when US troops arrived in Baghdad. The press also omitted mention of Iraq memos directing the “surviving” Kuwaiti POWs to be spread around as human shields.

And the press and Bush’s detractors ignore the fact that ISIS’s future first co-commander was a 1999 Millennium Plotter who parked himself in Baghdad before our invasion with a passel of Egyptian followers, and had an outlying secondary group camped on the border with Iran who had recently fled Afghanistan and were being aided by Saddam’s mukhabarat in exchange for their services against anti-Saddam Kurds. Also in Baghdad at the time, with Saddam’s approval, was the head of ANO, who was famous for tossing an American off of a hijacked cruise ship, among other things... until the regime decided to snuff him and also in Iraq with regime approval and compensation at the time was a ringleader of the folks who bombed the World Trade Center in 1993..., and also at the time was an Iraqi facilitator who assisted two of the 9/11 hijackers when they attended a meeting in Malaysia where the planning of the bombing of the USS Cole [as it was refueling on its mission to police the sanctions on Iraq] was underway.

Nor did the press explain the purpose of all the drums of pesticides stored in Iraq’s military facilities- in a country whose nurserymen and farmers were chronically short of pesticides. ...

The Iraq War was never just about finding preassembled, ready-to-use WMD. It was always about Iraq’s deliberate obstruction of the inspections process and failure to come up with an accounting of the weapons, precursors, and documentation it ADMITTED it had.

Canadian Company Buys Iraq's Uranium (Iraqi cabinet just approves sale) PressTV Iran ^ | Tue, 17 Feb 2009 | staff Posted on 2/17/2009 by fight_truth_decay

A Canadian company has purchased 550 tons of Iraqi uranium concentrate worth $90 milllion. Sakatoon-based uranium producer Cameco Corp., the world's largest producer of uranium, won the contract last year. But although the Iraqi cabinet only approved the sale on Tuesday, the last remains of the country's uranium concentrate or "yellow cake" had already been secretly transported to a Canadian port in July 2008 with US support. Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh told AFP on Tuesday that since the country has signed the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, it no longer needs this material accrued by former dictator Saddam Hussein, and the cabinet has approved the sale. Iraq still has to clean up the last radioactive waste at the former nuclear power station at Tuwaitha south of Baghdad.

The Iraqi government informed the United Nations 09 July 2014 that it had lost control of a former chemical weapons depot to Islamist insurgents affiliated with ISIS, or IS, and cannot carry out its obligations to destroy what’s stored in the compound. In a letter penned by Iraq’s UN Ambassador Mohamed Ali Alhakim, it was revealed that “armed terrorist groups” took over the Muthanna complex on June 11. Located north of Baghdad, the facility was the main center for chemical weapons production prior to the 1991 Gulf War, and is still home to 2,500 rockets containing the lethal nerve agent sarin.
