Fire Engulfs Uncle Mark’s Popcore Warehouse in Morganfield KY Multiple fire crews in Union County, Kentucky, are working what witnesses are calling a “massive” fire at the Uncle Mark’s Popcorn Warehouse in Morganfield. The call first came in around 8:40 Wednesday night that a large warehouse in the area was on fire. When crews arrived, they discovered it was the Uncle Mark’s Popcorn facility. At 9:24pm, the Red Cross had dispatched volunteers with food and water to relieve the crews. AP and 28 News Groups To Collect Fees From Aggregators The Associated Press and 28 other news organizations have launched a project to collect fees from aggregators who are reposting their content around the Web. The project, knowns as NewsRight, will be a separate business that will license original news from the media companies, and collect royalties from aggregators, according to Poynter. The project was formerly known as the News Registry and News Licensing Group, and has been in the pipeline for several years now.

Canadian Miner Update - Holed and Breaking Up The Canadian Miner was struck by a storm where 40 foot waves broke over the grounded vessel near Scaterie Island.
