Margaret Thatcher's funeral You probably already know this, but in case it slipped your mind, here’s a reminder of some current history.... President Obama was a no-show at Margaret Thatcher's funeral despite being invited to attend and thus snubbing England's invitation as a representative of the American people. Joe Biden also refused, as did Hillary Clinton. (By the way, former Secretary of State George Schultz went to the funeral……) The British took note of the fact that the Obama administration chose not to send a single senior member of the Cabinet. In fact, no actively serving, elected Democrat attended Lady...

Earlier I asked the question "Why no riots yet". I think I may have the answer. Most of the thugs who have been twitting and mouthing the hate, predictions, threats, etc., during the last two weeks are dependent upon the entititlements of the gubmint. That includes directions and orders. Since the gubmint has only said they are investigating the events about this incident, the thugs do not know what to do. Until Zero, or Sharpton, Jackson, or NAACP tells them to do something they are lost. On a more grim note, why no investigation into the 11,000 murders that have...

I am waiting for the riots. So far there is only the usual bitching by the ding-a-lings in San Francisco and Oakland. There is more merrymaking after a football game than what has happened. Where are the riots. (crickets chirping) I have an idea. We have all been remarking about how the media has blown this trial sky high. Is it possible they are also blowing the possibility of rioting sky high in order to retain some credibility?. I am beginning to think so. I do hope I am right.

    07/04/2012 4:50:29 AM PDT · by ProudFossil · 23 replies
We have been on a cruise around the Mediterrean for the last three weeks, very little news about the US. Only channels available are Fox, MSNBC, Skye, and BBC Europe. Time difference means watching hours later than your time. It looks like MSNBC has no advertising, all we get are the same comments from the anchors(?) about the condition of the country. I watched MSNBC for 45 minutes and not one commercial but about 20 minutes of the same comments from the anchors(?). Is it possible that maybe MSNBC is fading off into the neverland of extinct channels?

This is the text of an e-mail I just received: 12/29/2009 Below is a letter sent by Indianapolis anesthesiologist, Dr. Stephen E. Frazer, to Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN): Senator Bayh, As a practicing physician I have major concerns with the health care bill before Congress. I actually have read the bill and am shocked by the brazenness of the government’s proposed involvement in the patient-physician relationship. The very idea that the government will dictate and ration patient care is DANGEROUS and certainly not helpful in designing a health care system that works for all. Every physician I work with agrees...

I went for my annual prostrate exam today and had a discussion with the staff about Obamacare. I have not heard or seen any of this anywhere. The closest to it is the possibility of some doctors retiring rather than being run by the government The big problem with Obamacare, as far as the doctors are concerned and expecially the specialists, as this doctor is, has to do with pay schedules to the doctors. Apparantly both the House and Senate bills mandate any doctor receiving federal funds, such as Medicare, has to accept a salary. That is one of the...
