Hilarious to see liberal media types disparaging people who patronized the movie, “American Sniper” as “simplistic,” when they completely ignore the man whose orders Kyle was following each time he pulled the trigger...the man that virtually every one of these patriot-bashers voted for, and supported through their political contributions.

Simplistic? Who could be more simple-minded, and hypocritical, than the media personalities who condemn the hero puts his life at risk to follow the orders of the man who set the policy and gave the orders the solder was following...the president they supported in every possible way.

I hope she’s prepared to witness some of the most grotesque hypocrisy and double-standards a person can see in adult life.

Hand her a pocket copy of the Constitution and ask her to read it carefully, so she understands just what it is she’s swearing to give her life to defense. That will put her in a league of her own in the military these days (because most current military officers have absolutely no idea).

Both organizations have been hijacked for the Left. Sorry...but I’m a long-time BSA adult leader, and if I had a 11 or 12 year-old today, I wouldn’t even consider putting him in BSA.

BSA stacked the voting to create the outcome they wanted in the “new rule” they implemented in January, and the vast majority of BSA-registered adults were hard-over against it. BSA went against the values of the majority of its families and its adult leaders.

As for GSA, they’ve been political for decades. There are hundreds of stories about how GSA national and regional gatherings are “headlines” by pro-abortion, pro-feminist advocates to push political agendas.

I know hundreds of current and former BSA-member adults who have or had boys who were active in scouting, who also had girls. And I don’t think I could name even a handful of those families who had any positive words for GSA, or who put a daughter in GSA.

My youngest made Eagle rank a few months ago, and he and I are about to resign from BSA. We waited for a few events where our active status had meaning to others in the troop and District to pass, and we have about two weeks left until the last of those events is over. Once we get home from that evening’s activities we’ll be hanging up our Class A uniforms for good, and walking away from BSA for life.

Both of us are looking at Trail Life. After the stunt BSA national pulled with the vote on “alternate lifestyle choices” we’ll never again trust them to operate in the best interest of boys.

Okay, is it crazy enough that this warrants a news article...or did someone pull the “completely insane” lever when they freaking sent a news crew to the guy’s home...?

WTH? The guy was a jerk. He didn’t physically harm anyone, and he voiced an opinion that while abrasive, rude, and worthy of a good ass-kicking were “daddy” there to provide it, is still within his constitutional rights.

People are nasty to kids all over the country. Spend a few hours observing some of the “parents” of young children as they wander the aisles of WalMart some evening, and see how hateful and vicious many adults can be to kid...even THEIR OWN kids!

Watch some of the sideline parents at boys sports games, and you’ll learn a few lessons in “jerk-ology.”

Oh, and “mom”...unless you want to completely impair your daughter’s ability to live a normal life, teacher to show some freaking spine, and not jump into the “I’m a victim” game every time some jerk blows his mouth of near hear.

This entire story is freaking ridiculous...and the only “sane” person in the entire thing seems to be the girl. The Jerk, the mother, and the news crew ALL need to get a freaking life!

That is the economic damage of a total of 96Million lost work-hours per year, every year, until “hell freezes over.”

That’s 96Million work-hours less income that can be spent at stores, restaurants, and other businesses all across the country. That’s a loss to the standard of living for every worker involved, and to their spouses, and their children. That’s a hit on the US economy, and on the tax base.

Regardless how the hours are lost, they’re still lost as a result of federal legislation and a violation of the Constitutional rights of the American people.

AP makes it sound like the hours lost is the “choice” of those workers involved. But who gave those workers the option of being involved in ObamaCare and being forced into the situation where they have to decide to cut their hours in order to reduce the cost of healthcare?

Indeed...it is maddening, and for many reasons.

About 90% or more of the illegal alien population is educated at the 7th grade level, or less. If they’re able to find jobs at all, those jobs will be low wage labor jobs, and a few skilled jobs once they gain experience. But overall, they will have almost no ability to pull themselves out of poverty, unless the hit the lottery.

This will be the most devastating legislation to hit black Americans since Reconstruction, or perhaps the formation of the nation itself. Black Americans, who have a larger percentage of their population at the high school education level or less, needing to enter the professional work force at the entry level, where they can gain experience and work ethic, will have about 20Million more “citizens” competing for those entry-level jobs. This will make it virtually impossible for any black without a college education to live the American dream and enjoy a normal, productive life.

Of course, it will also diminish the political power of black Americans, who will quickly become a secondary political demographic group.

But this will ensure that the vast majority of both the black and illegal alien populations will spend their entire lives in poverty and on the welfare system. Of course, that will ensure that the vast majority of those new unskilled, uneducated voters pull the lever for Democrats.

Sit back some evening when you have time for a beer, a cigar, and a bit of pondering. Ask yourself this question:

How many foreign policy initiatives and policies implemented by the Obama Administration that hasn’t ended up helping Al Queda and/or the Muslim Brotherhood?

    Change in RoE in Afghanistan
Announcement of the date-certain exit from Afghanistan
Decision to halt the Keystone Pipeline project
    Abandonment of Iraq
    Secret deal with Iran
Overthrowing (with US military force) Libya
Allowing hundreds of Soviet-made, shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles to fall into the hands of the Brotherhood
Abandoning Egypt to the Muslin Brotherhood
Putting over 40 virtually unprotected US personnel in Behghazi, ripe for the attack, and then ordering a “stand-down” to prevent the US military intervention to save US personnel
Allowing Iran to continue work on the bomb, without penalty
Attempt to involve US military in the Syrian crisis

These decisions and policies, and more, all worked to the benefit of our enemies, and harmed the United States.

Interesting how A&E has been making huge profits from broadcasting the Robertson’s faith (a huge reason for their popularity) for years, and then they dump Phil for openly discussing his faith, making statements which are 100 percent consistent with the life and values A&E has been getting rich by parading across our TVs every week on Duck Dynasty.

Firing Phil Robertson for discussing his Christian faith...including all the comments in question...is like firing an airline pilot for achieving a 100% safety and on-time takeoff/arrival record, or firing an NFL quarterback for leading his team to win the Superbowl.

Phil Robertson’s faith (and his family’s faith) has been the center of interest for a huge portion of the DD audience. Viewers may walk to the “fridge” for a beer while the boys are doing something stupid for the audience, but every viewer is sitting glued to the set when the show ends and the Robertson family gathers around the dinner table for the prayer we all know and expect to hear.

The Christian faith component of the show has been the key to DD’s success since “day 1,” and everyone in the Robertson family knows it. That family...mocked though they may be...knows and understands their audience far better than do the ridiculous hypocrites who run A&E.

    Ask yourself this:

If a Fortune 500 company had spent five years advertising that they were going to provide customers with a new system of healthcare coverage that...
    - Lowered the premiums for an average family by $2,500/year
    - Guaranteed coverage, regardless of preconditions
    - That would allow you to keep your doctor
    - That you didn’t have to join if you wanted to keep the plan you had

...and then the company rolled out the actual plan, and it had the same impact we’re seeing from what ObamaCare is doing, how long would it have taken Atty Gen Holder to arrest every leader in that company and perp-walk them to jail in front of every TV camera he could summon to the event?

There’s never been a screw-up of this magnitude in any previous administration, or any previous generation, or any previous century. This is the most spectacular failure of leadership and management in the history of mankind.

Not only were they unable to create a fairly simple web site which required technology that is at least 10 years old, and not only could no national leader explain what happened...specifically... that caused this failure...there isn’t a single person in the administration who CAN EVEN NAME the person who was in charge of this screw-up.

The single most basic premise of project management is, “WHO THE HELL IS IN CHARGE.” It’s bad to fail. But not even being professional enough to know who was responsible for the success and/or failure of the web site design and stand-up is an unimaginable failure of leadership.

I have to preface my response to you by saying that I don't have much admiration for America's public schools. In general, I'd say the once-great American public education system is a national disaster now.

But in this specific area of interest I cannot blame school officials. This “one size fits all” mentality that has befallen school policy has been cause by some really bad and irresponsible “parents,” who refuse to allow school leaders to use judgment in dealing with behavior issues, and run into the principals office with a lawyer on their arm every time “Johnny” gets caught scribbling graffiti on the bathroom wall.

America is infested with parents who throw their kids in “daycare centers” as soon as the centers will take them, and when the kids are old enough to addict to TV, end up being babysat by whatever the media broadcasts. These parents know they're not doing what's best for their kids, and they're guilt-ridden over it. But, many of them are also narcissists...having been indoctrinated in public schools, themselves...so when their child gets in trouble at school and they feel that “johnny's failure's” may be a result of their bad parenting, they turn any incident into an opportunity to threaten and attack an administrator or principal for “unfairness.”

I've seen this garbage happen hundreds of times, and it's almost always the same. It's some guilt-ridden mother who, because she's put her own life and pleasures ahead of the best interest of her child, has been removed from their child's life to the point of hardly being able to remember his name. These are often “mothers” who either had “johnny” out of wedlock or are in their second, third, or fourth marriages.

This is not always the case with these ridiculous “my child is perfect!” mothers...but this little “mold” often fits, hand-in-glove.”

From the standpoint of the administrator or principal, coming under attack when you try to exercise judgment...often to prevent ridiculous over-action in cases like these...forces administrations to create “one-size-fits-all” policies, like “no tolerance” policies. I really think that in many cases school leadership would far prefer to allow seasoned and caring school leaders to use personal judgment in matters like these. But honestly, these ridiculous parents who absolutely refuse to allow administrators to see “gray area” in exercising authority and discipline force schools into this kind of rule-making.

It sickens me as it does you. But as I said, schools are to blame for a lot of “bovine excrement” with regard to dumbing-down kids, attacking societal norms, attacking faith and family, attacking academic standards...lot of things. But in these type discipline cases I'd suggest you look to bad parents as the cause of the problem. Because I can assure you that were you in the right “seat” to see what was going on behind the walls of these school administrators offices you quickly find out that “chitty parents” are the perpetrators of much of the most shocking and destructive behaviors that ever occur in a public school.

Oh, that process is surely under way. Look at what happened to the Episcopal Church after the church decided to reject scriptural principals. They lost about 2/3rds of their entire youth membership in less than a decade. I think BSA will see similar, if not more severe loses. I’ve been a BSA leader for years. And the quiet conversations I’m hearing from very senior BSA leaders reflects what looks to me to be a massive loss of adult leadership in the coming months. Unlike churches, where families and individuals flock from a large surrounding area, many BSA troops are little hubs within communities.

My city has about half a dozen troops, with three or four very close by. Many of these troops are sustained by the efforts of one, two...maybe three active adult leaders. There are other adults involved. But most BSA troops really do function through the dedication and energy of one or two adults.

The loss of one or two scouts from each troop would be a painful thing. But losing one or two adult leaders could put many troops “out of business.” I think BSA has really “chit the bed” here. We’ll see how it goes. But I strongly suspect that in a few years BSA will be only a shadow of what it was just a few years ago.

I wish I had help to offer. I’m a BSA adult leader, and have been for a pretty long time. I have a lot of time and effort invested in working with these boys and their predecessors, and it breaks my heart to see what BSA has done.

My youngest son will make Eagle rank before the end of this year, and he and I will both formally leave BSA the day before BSA’s new policy goes into effect.

We will be moving to a new organization that is more reflective of our values, and we believe will be a more positive organization for boys. BSA has become pretty corrupt, in my opinion. This vote to change policy was a complete slap in the face, because 2/3rd of BSA’s adult leaders were opposed to it. BSA, unfortunately, has a lot of leaders at the top of the food chain who do not, an did not subscribe to BSA’s core beliefs...which means they should have never been in BSA to begin with, let alone allowed to rise to the top of the national level.

Sad day for BSA, and for the country.

I want to offer what little financial support I can to anyone who runs as a conservative against any Republican in the Senate who fails to support Ted Cruz in this effort.

I’m sick and tired of these RINOs, and I hope we can all start pushing good conservatives into races that will help us retire every one of them.

    Exactly...BRAVO!

The only way the Republicans can separate themselves from the ObamaCare disaster is to fight the fight, right now.

If they pretend that those 40 votes to kill ObamaCare when they had no power to do it were important and then roll over and vote to fund ObamaCare now, the Republicans will have this coming disaster hanging around their necks when the system collapses...and we all know it was specifically created to collapse.

If the “moderates” cave and fund this, when ObamaCare falls apart Obama and the Democrats will say, “when you had the power to stop this you voluntarily funded it...without a fight. So you’re just as guilty for this disaster as we are!”.

Fight this fight Republicans, and fight it to the death...or don’t expect any support from your base in 2014.

The Democrats must believe that this has potential, or they wouldn’t be throwing such a hissy-fit. If they really thought this would hurt the Republicans they’d sit back and watch it happen...they wouldn’t be trying to “help” the Republicans out.

I think this vote could win if it comes to the Senate floor. There are too many Democrats who see career suicide in voting to keep ObamaCare alive. They’re scared “chitless” that they may actually be put in the position of having the choice to end it or not.

I wish I knew. I voted for the guy, but I doubt I could ever bring myself to support him again. His most attractive attribute is that he might not be as much of a maggot as his Democrat challenger. That’s about it.

This issue with Sheriff Finch has really changed my opinion of Gov. Scott, and really jaded me toward the legal system in Florida. I’ve seen the corruption demonstrated in the Zimmerman trial, and now more of it in this incident with Sheriff Finch.

I think Angela Corey should have been thrown in jail months ago. And Willie Meggs is every bit as bad as Corey is, if not more so.

By the way, I’m also told (Burnie Thompson) that Sheriff Finch had been previously advised by at least three circuit court judges that he had exactly the kind of authority and discretion he exercised in this case.

I'm mystified by Scott's lack of action in the Corey (Zimmerman) case, and with the actions of Willie Meggs.

From what I've read about this case it seems to me that Meggs should have been removed from it from the beginning. My understanding is that the “new” sheriff who replaced Nick Finch has been a supporter and donor for Meggs’ previous campaigns. And apparently evidence in this case has somehow been “erased” from the recording devices used in the jail. Burnie Thompson recently played a secretly recorded audio tape of a discussion among deputies in this county conspiring to destroy Finch. This tape was apparently made by an agent of Meggs who worked on the Sheriff's staff.

Lots going on here. But the bottom line is that it appears Meggs is on a crusade against the Second Amendment, and that he's making an example of Nick Finch in order to intimidate all the other sheriffs who might think about using similar discretion with regard to future incidents involving firearms.

I've lost a lot of respect for the Governor as this case has developed and more of the evidence has been made public.

People who are interested in this case should listen to a regional talk radio host named Burnie Thompson, who has taken up this case over the past couple months.

Thompson has discussed evidence in this case on his show, and also on his Facebook page.

State attorney Willie Meggs is involved. If you're from Central Florida you probably know Meggs’ history.
