South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) is looking to prevent President Biden’s proposed "door-to-door" coronavirus vaccination campaign. McMaster wrote a letter to the state’s Board of Health and Environmental Control, asking it to “issue direction to agency leadership and to state and local healthcare organizations prohibiting the use of the Biden Administration’s 'targeted' 'door to door' tactics in the State’s ongoing vaccination efforts.” He argued that “enticing, coercing, intimidating, mandating, or pressuring” people to get their shots will deteriorate public trust in the state’s vaccination efforts.

Thousands of bikers heading to South Dakota’s 10-day Sturgis Motorcycle Rally will not be allowed through Cheyenne River Sioux checkpoints, a spokesman for the Native American group said on Saturday. The decision to prevent access across tribal lands to the annual rally, which could attract as many as 250,000 bikers amid fears it could lead to a massive, regional coronavirus outbreak, comes as part of larger Covid-19 prevention policy. The policy has pitted seven tribes that make up the Great Sioux Nation against federal and state authorities, which both claim the checkpoints are illegal.

So grandma recently bought a Smith & Wesson Model 60 - 3” to take care of the mice problem in the kitchen. She’s looking for recommendations on a good conceal carry holster. Pulling the piece from her apron pocket takes too much time. Besides, she keeps her pipe in that pocket and doesn’t want to pull out the wrong tool when the mice are running. Probably something in an open top design would do the trick, as the mice are quick and run away fast when they see her go for the revolver. Any recommendation for manufacturers of holsters would...
  • Wall Street’s Financial Crisis Preceded COVID-19: Chart and Timeline

Wall Street on Parade ^ | May 1, 2020 | Pam Martens and Russ Martens
If a reputable polling outfit were to ask Americans what caused the current financial crisis on Wall Street, they would say the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. If Americans were asked in the same poll when the financial crisis on Wall Street started, they would tie it to outbreaks of the virus in the U.S. this year. But as the timeline below and the chart above clearly substantiate, the financial crisis on Wall Street began in earnest on September 17, 2019, almost four months before the first death from coronavirus anywhere in the world was reported in China on January 11, 2020...

On Friday, U.S. bureaucrats passed the 2020 stimulus bill, which has become the largest cash injection package ever created by the federal government. However, following the bill making it through the Senate and House, Republican representative Thomas Massie told the public the stimulus bill bolsters a shroud of secrecy surrounding the Federal Reserve. Moreover, within the depths of the bill’s 880 pages, there’s a $454 billion slush fund available for Wall Street among many other types of pork-barrel funding.

When Aaron Rodgers — his friend, college football-watching buddy and amateur plumber — called him an “idiot” on Saturday afternoon from beneath his kitchen sink, well, Dekker had to agree with the two-time NFL MVP. “I’ve actually fixed my own garbage disposal before. There’s incredible tutorials on YouTube,” Rodgers said. “So I did that at one point. Fixed it. “Sam, he just got traded to L.A., I was hanging out with him Saturday. He was having some sink issues, asked for my help. He’s 23 years old. I know he’s engaged and taking the next step to being an adult,...

My grandmother had a boating accident and her AK-47 got dumped into the lake. Now she’s looking for a replacement. She has $500 from winning 1st prize for pickled beets at last year’s state fair and can kick in another $700 from her kitty cat fund. So her budget is set at $1,200. The Bulgarian 7.62x39mm SAM7R-51 from Arsenal appeals to her. Atlantic Firearms has a Polish AK47 Rifle WBP Classic Wood W/ Range Pack on sale for $979 and an AK47 Rifle Battlefield Pick-Up Romy VPG for $739. For 20 years, a tough-as-leather Nevada rancher and the federal government have been locked in a bitter range war over cattle grazing rights. This weekend the confrontation got worse, when the feds hired contract cowboys to start seizing Cliven Bundy's cattle, which have been grazing on public land managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The government officials brought a show of force that included dozens of armed agents in SUVs and helicopters. Bundy, 67, who has been a rancher all his life, accuses BLM of stampeding over on his rights. “This is a lot bigger deal than just my...

The U.S. Justice Department is fighting in court against a German family that came to America to homeschool their children. Uwe and Hannelore Romeike fled to the United States in 2008 after German authorities demanded that they stop homeschooling their six children. Homeschooling was made illegal in the country in 1938 under the dictatorship of Adolph Hitler, and the law has never been repealed, but rather strengthened. In 2007, the German Supreme Court ruled that the country’s mandate that children be sent to public school is necessary to “counteract the development of religious and philosophically motivated parallel societies.”

An amendment in the Interior Appropriations bill will protect hunting opportunities at West Virginia’s New River Gorge National River, which was under attack by the national anti-hunting group the Fund for Animals.   The Fund had requested that the National Park Service (NPS) discontinue hunting and threatened litigation if the NPS failed to act.  The amendment to HR 2691 requires that hunting continue at the New River Gorge until or unless the National Park Service issues regulations to the contrary.   The House of Representatives approved the bill October 30 by a vote of 216 to 205.  It now awaits...

The event was held to dramatize the harmful effects that misguided...
