  • That Anti-Prop 8 Musical Makes Me Want to Barf

In response to gay being the new black. Sometimes I wonder about that. I noticed a “flamer” that works in a bank at the grocery store I work at and he is so NOT fashionable. Yesterday he work a black dress shirt, solid white tie and a GOLD headband across his forhead. Kinda like the kind that Paris Hilton and some of the other “fashion divas” wear. It was so DISGUSTING! Come on...if you are going to be gay, at least have some REAL FASHION! GEEZ

Well the video was pretty funny. However, it almost seemed like they had a confusing message. The video seemed more like a parody of both sides of the issue rather than a statement in opposition of prop 8. Unless you went to the Jack Black website and saw all the stuff in support of gay marriage, you may not have realized what side the video was really supporting. Most of the dumb idiots who voted on election day didn’t even understand what their vote for Prop 8 meant. No wonder their effort lost the vote.

Boehner DEFINITELY needs to go. I nominate my local Congressman Dean Heller (R-NV). I wrote to him about not voting for the bailout and he voted NO! Every time I’ve written him about an important conservative issue, he has voted the RIGHT way EVERY time. When it came to immigration, he voted the RIGHT way. We need more Congressmen like Dean Heller and the NEW Congressman Duncan D. Hunter (R-CA)!

    This is disheartening.

Sarah Palin is a true conservative and one of the only reasons that McCain didn’t lose by a larger margin. I wouldn’t have voted for McCain had Palin not come on board.

Whether or not Romney or any of his team members are behind these lies, Romney is not a TRUE CONSERVATIVE.

Romney is washed up and toast. I will not support him for a run in 2012. We need someone more like Duncan Hunter. Someone who stands up for conservative values no matter what!

Besides, I am renouncing my Republican Party affiliation today. So...honestly I don’t care who the next GOP nominee is, the GOP can KISS MY ASS GOODBYE!

You know this does bring a smile to my face.

Interestingly enough, it has a LOT to do with how many of us feel today. There are some interesting parallels.

Think about what this letter said. It told her to do the job, and do it well and quickly. This is something we need to instill in all of our children’s minds.

I work with a lot of teenagers and I can tell you that they have NO WORK ETHIC these days. They try to do as little as possible and not get caught being lazy. It’s ridiculous!

This letter is uplifting because it does teach the young girl that chores are put in place to make our home a nice place to live in. The same applies for our country. We work hard to make our country a nicer place to live in.

This is another call to arms. We need to start with our children and instill in them the values that are most important. We need to teach our kids, that they can expect a reward for HARD work and not expect to get something for nothing. I think that is a LOT of the problems with our nation today.

  • Palin Says She is Sorry if She Cost McCain "even one vote" - Video 11/5/08

She definitely has NOTHING to be sorry for. In fact, I wasn’t onboard with McCain until Palin entered the picture. I wasn’t even going to do a THING to help McCain’s campaign until she was selected. Sarah Palin is the ONLY reason that I went and walked precincts and put up signs in my yard.

It’s sad that she even had to apologize. She shouldn’t have to feel that way!

  • Can the Electoral College look into Obama's citizenship status before confirmation?

    sierrascrapper to GAB-1955

I don’t know if that is necessarily the case. President-elect Obama has not been sworn in, so that means that Biden is not yet the Vice President so that doesn’t automatically make Biden the new President. If this can be handled before the Electoral College votes, I think that something dramatic will happen. However, I still don’t believe that will automatically give Biden the Presidency.

    We’ll see how this goes.

I just heard on ABC News that now that Obama is Pres-elect, he is considering this choice.

I am SICK to my stomach. We will LOSE our nation if Kerry is SOS. Please God take us all now!

I’m not giving up. It is possible that he is NOT an American citizen, and it is possible that we can FIGHT this. Giving up is exactly what they want us to do instead of fighting to uphold what so many men have died for.

    I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!

Funny thing is that about 30 min after we got home from voting in NV, my boys found a B.O. flier on our door. They promptly took it to trash can on the curb to be picked up by the trash man. ROTFLMAO

I think the B.O. volunteer must’ve missed his alarm clock. If they wanted to have an effect on voters, they should’ve plastered the neighborhood before we left to vote. MORONS!!

I just got home from voting. The line was MINIMAL, basically non-existent. We got there about 10 min after the poll opened. There were 5 people in line in front of us and about 10 people who were already at the voting machine.

QUICK, SMOOTH, EASY. They gave me the I Voted Electronically sticker and told me that I can get a free cup of coffee at Starbucks. COOLIO!

I also asked them to let me keep a blank Voter Passport for my scrapbook. I know it’s silly, but I have a LOT of pics from this past election season and I plan on putting them all into one scrapbook. My dh took a pic of me outside of the polling place after I voted.

I wore blue jeans, red shoes, a red hat, my WE WILL NOT SURRENDER TO TERRORISTS t-shirt and a red zip-up jacket. There weren’t many people outside the polling place to “influence” so it didn’t really matter. BUT...it made me feel good and that’s all that matters. Now it’s time to get some sleep! LOL

So the question is...will the MSM report the long lines at the polls?

NOPE! People are already facing LONG lines at polling locations, but the MSM isn’t reporting anything about it even though it’s IMPORTANT!

FIGURES! They will probably only show the polling places where there are just a few “cronies” in line instead.

Nothing new here, but I had to RANT about it.

Not in line yet, but I’m on the west coast and polls don’t open for another 3.5 hours. However, I am going right when they open. I don’t care how long of a line I have to stand in! It’s raining and FREEZING cold here, but the sacrifice will be worth it! I’m expecting a pretty big line only because a lot of people will be trying to get their vote in before they go to work. I would’ve waited until later but my only transportation is with my dh and he has to go to work, so I will join him at the early polls. It will feel GOOD to have my vote DONE AND COUNTED EARLY!

I just can’t sleep tonight. It’s AWFUL! I got off work at midnight and tried to lay down and maybe I caught an hour of sleep, but now I can’t sleep for nothing! I guess I’m anxious for NEVADA to get the vote on!

That’s a disgrace, but not unusual.

DO NOT LET THE LIBERALS & DEMS PUSH US AROUND! We had an incident at one of our early polling locations. If you are harrassed by a poll worker because of what you are wearing, you should make a HUGE STINK and complain and tell everyone you know. FORCE THEM TO LET YOU VOTE! Don’t let them intimidate you. Of course we need to keep in mind the anti-electioneering laws, however in this case, the poll worker was COMPLETELY wrong for harrassing this woman.

I am wearing RED RED RED tomorrow. They can’t say anything to me, but it is a subliminal message of my support for the Republican candidate. I was considering wearing my WE WILL NOT SURRENDER TO TERRORISTS t-shirt that the Fight For Victory Tour was selling a couple summers ago. But...I think just wearing RED everything will be enough of a statement and I won’t get thrown out for wearing it. It’s VERY TEMPTING though! haha

So how soon after the polls close will they have a number? Will each state have a final number right when the polls close? Or will it take a few hours for them to get all the numbers posted? I am just trying to prepare myself for while I’m at work. I work at a grocery store on the west coast and I’m anxious about the outcome of the vote and I’m trying to figure out WHEN and IF violence may occur. Polls close in my state at 7PM PST. I have to work until midnight and I’m scared to death to be at work.
