  • 433K people die every year because they sat for too long

    Fox News ^ | 9/26/2016 | Michael Harthorne
You might want to sit down for this. On second thought, keep standing. A study published last month in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that sitting for more than three hours per day is responsible for 3.8%—or approximately 433,000—of all deaths worldwide every year. At this point, it's old news that sitting for long periods of time is bad for your health. But who knew it could be this deadly? According to a press release, researchers looked at data collected from 54 countries between 2002 and 2011. They found that more than 60% of the world's population sits...

My new book, Guilty as Sin: Uncovering New Evidence of Corruption and How Hillary Clinton and the Democrats Derailed the FBI Investigation, is hot off the press just as Donald Trump is surging in the polls. Faced with this terrifying prospect, Democrats try to console themselves with the mantra that Hillary has a better ground game—polling data and grassroots organization—than Donald. But ED KLEIN CONFIDENTIAL recently discovered that this mantra is a myth. We spoke to an election expert who has visited many of Hillary’s campaign offices, where he interviewed staffers and found that the Clinton operation is “chaotic.” “There...
  • Clinton Has 7-Point Lead Over Trump In National McClatchy-Marist Poll (I call BS)

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by seven points among likely voters in a head-to-head matchup, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll released Friday morning. When third party candidates are added to the question, Clinton leads Trump by six points, 45-39, among likely voters, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 10 points and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at four points. The last national McClatchy-Marist poll released in early August did not survey likely voters and instead polled a broader pool of registered voters. In that poll, Clinton led Trump among registered voters by 15 points, 48-33.

Donald Trump is right: It was the Hillary Clinton campaign that spread the rumor in 2008 that Obama was not born in America and, therefore, might not be eligible to serve as President. Hillary sent out her Chief Goon to take care of this high-priority matter. It was Sidney Blumenthal who spread the rumor. Remember him? The one who sent hundreds of wacky long-winded memos about Benghazi and the Middle East to the Secretary of State, including several that contained classified material. Well, before Sid was a fake spy and clandestine adviser to Hillary, he was her chief enforcer. Blumenthal...

Federal lawmakers seeking to pinpoint the number of illegal immigrants who successfully sneak across the southern border ordered up a report from the Department of Homeland Security, but the agency refuses to release it and instead cites a misleading statistic that overstates the number who are nabbed, sources told Fox News. DHS denied it is holding back the report, but sources say it was completed in November and that it shows roughly half of adults who attempt to cross the border make it - approximately 250,000 in total. But that number is at odds with DHS’ official estimates. The agency...

Republican nominee Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton in South Carolina with 53 percent of the vote in a poll out Wednesday which also shows Trump getting 26 percent of the black vote. Trump is leading with 53 percent, Clinton follows with with 37.57 percent, Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 3.4 percent and the Green Party’s Jill Stein got less than one percent in the Trafalgar Group poll. South Carolina is a solidly Republican state so Trump’s lead here isn’t surprising. However, Trump is doing quite well with blacks in the poll. He has 25.75 percent support among black voters, and...

David P. Goldman, aka Spengler, tells how bad it is for Hillary Clinton and her supporters. He seems to agree with the call I made Saturday morning, that Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” remark could cost her the election. I think this paragraph is brilliant: You can’t win an American presidential election without the deplorables’ vote. Deplorables are America’s biggest minority. They might even be the American majority. They may or not be racist, homophobic and so forth, but they know they’re deplorable. Deplorable, and proud. They’re the median family whose real income has fallen deplorably by 5% in the...

NEW YORK – George Soros’s Open Society Foundations is seeking to expand the use of electronic and online voting systems nationwide, according to a leaked Foundations document reviewed by Breitbart News. While the directive was issued two years ago, the issue of electronic voting has become a hot button topic in this year’s presidential election amid fears digital voting systems can be compromised. The online voting plan was contained in a 67-page hacked file detailing the September 29-30, 2014 Open Society U.S. Programs board meeting in New York.

The presidential race is tightening, according to the polls that journalists swear by. But much of the coverage still portrays Donald Trump as a long shot and Hillary Clinton as a virtual shoo-in. What’s up with that? A giant caveat: those of us in the news business are way too addicted to polls. We treat every 2-point, margin-of-error swing in a swing state as a tremor, if not an earthquake. It’s early September, we haven’t had the debates yet, and too many of us are impersonating Karnak the Magnificent. When Clinton jumped out to as much as a 12-point lead...

The flight landed safely in Fort McMurray, but the next flight was cancelled until a replacement co-pilot could be brought in. Pilots are trained to look away to protect their eyes in the event of a laser strike, but the pilot was advised to seek medical attention as a precaution. "A laser has the potential to cause...

BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- More than a dozen Baltimore-area retailers are accused of misusing food stamps and defrauding the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) of millions of dollars. The indictments, announced Tuesday, come roughly three years after nine local retailers were charged in what prosecutors described as a "$7 million scheme" of trading food stamps for cash. All the defendants in that case were convicted. "Last year the Dept. of Agriculture Inspector General brought to our attention that many Baltimore-area retailers were continuing to rip-off the food stamp program," United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Labor Day traditionally sounds a gun that starts the general election in earnest — vacations are over, kids are back in school, and voters are finally tuning in to a presidential race that’s competitive coming out of the party conventions. This year feels very different. With two prolonged primary seasons, two deeply polarizing nominees, and two conventions that were moved up by a month (from late August to late July), voters have been unable to escape the shadow cast by a bizarre and historic race for the White House. And with the GOP nominee trailing badly in nearly every national...

Donald Trump can, and will, beat Hillary Clinton and become President of the United States. As much as the media and political elite have already written off Trump, the evidence shows that Trump is on track to win this fall because of his popular message, his record of victory in the Republican primaries, and Hillary’s unpopularity. First of all, don’t believe the media spin. This race is tight. The pundits and the media elites can’t fathom the idea that a guy like Donald Trump could be our next President. The campaign is expecting to air a new ad, which paints rival Hillary Clinton as a job-killer, as soon as Monday in nine states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida, where the campaign has already been on the air, along with New Hampshire, Virginia, Iowa, Colorado and Nevada – all battleground states. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has so far been badly outspent by his Democratic rival...

The U.S. could resettle nearly one million immigrants from the Muslim world under one term of a Hillary Clinton presidency, according to projections from Center for Immigration Studies’ Steve Camarota. Camarota explained that this large expansion in Muslim migration would be part of a massive increase in overall immigration, which the U.S. could experience under a President Hillary Clinton. Camarota noted that Clinton could potentially add as many as 10 million new immigrants to the U.S. during her first term alone, on top of the millions of illegal immigrants to whom she would grant immediate amnesty. Camarota’s analysis is based...

On the Political Insiders segment of Fox Report Weekend this evening, John Leboutillier said the reason Hillary is winning in the swing states right now is she (and her PAC) have spent multi-millions on anti-Trump ads in the these states where the election will be won (or lost). Also, Hillary is attempting to raise 1 billion dollars! Professor Helmut Norpoth from Stony Brook University today told Lou Dobbs Donald Trump has an 87% chance of winning the November presidential election. Professor Norpoth is a political science professor at Long Island’s Stoney Brook University. His model has been correct since 1996 on predicting the popular vote. This 2016 forecast rests on a model that tracks cyclical movements in American presidential elections. It goes back to 1828, when popular voting became widespread and the two-party system took hold. Over nearly two centuries, American presidential elections have exhibited a distinct cycle. This is not the pattern associated with partisan realignments...

First she confusingly said that she’s going to raise taxes on the middle class. And while we know that’s REALLY what she’s going to do, of course that isn’t what she meant to say. Even scarier, Hillary totally missed the slip up and continued speaking. Then, only a few days later, Hillary referred to Donald Trump as her husband. Freudian slip? Maybe, but not likely. The more likely answer is that she was genuinely confused. And what this may be are long-lasting symptoms stemming from a concussion and blood clot, according to a neurologist, which suggest Clinton is suffering from...

If one of the other 16 candidates was that much of a vote getter he, or she, would have been standing on the podium in Cleveland accepting the nomination, not Donald J. Trump.

PHILADELPHIA For Hillary Clinton, finding thousands of words for her speech Thursday accepting the Democratic presidential nomination will be easy. Distilling her campaign to a simple few will be harder. Think of Ronald Reagan boiling down his 1980 campaign to the powerful message, “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” Or Bill Clinton’s three main points in 1992: “The economy, stupid”; change vs. more of the same. As of Tuesday night Hillary Clinton has 2,203 pledged delegates. But she does have 574 super-delegates. Hillary received 15,899,116 votes this year. Bernie Sanders received 12,193,152 votes. Hillary and Bernie received 28,092,268 total primary votes this year. In 2008 Hillary Clinton received 17,493,836 primary votes. So this year Hillary received 1,594,720 FEWER primary votes than in 2008. And she lost in 2008! Horrible. More than 35,029,294 votes were cast in the 2008 Democratic primary....

According to Fox News polls, Hillary Clinton is running 11 points ahead among women, down from Barack Obama’s 16-point finish in 2012. But Donald Trump is running 22 points ahead among men, way up from Mitt Romney’s 7-point final margin in 2012. This year’s gender gap is different from all previous gaps in that it has its origin in male,...

I was watching one of the cable news shows recently and Newt was a guest and he said something that stuck with me. Not an exact quote but the main idea of what he said. Ronald Reagan was elected Governor of California in 1966 because Americans watched the (American) flag being burned. Richard Nixon was elected President in 1968 because Americans watched the flag being burned. Donald Trump will be elected President in 2016 because Americans watched the American flag being burned by illegal aliens carrying the Mexican flag.

In the wake of a recent Nevada state party convention that descended into chaos, Democrats are sweating out a similar event in Wyoming on Saturday. When Democrats meet in Cheyenne to select delegates to the July national convention, the same elements that created such a volatile mix in Nevada will be present: anger and frustration over Bernie Sanders’ delegate haul, superdelegates who backed Hillary Clinton before the state caucuses took place, and threats to state party officials. Story Continued Below At a gathering of state Democratic chairmen in Philadelphia last week, Wyoming was identified as one of the upcoming states...
