Think of the old fashioned, round "coal bed warmers" but when opened the top could be rotated close to 360 degrees instead of 180 degrees. What type of hinge would work or links to any current product examples would be appreciated. The round top fits the round bottom but can be opened close to all the way. It's the round part that is throwing me and the placement of the hinge. Sorry for such a stupid question. Appreciate the help in advance.

Updated: Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 9:05 AM Today may be your last chance to make a difference in the Senate amnesty fight. Three votes are scheduled for today with the final cloture vote likely to come tomorrow morning. Call your Senators NOW toll-free at 888-995-8349. Tell them to vote NO on S.744. The bill grants amnesty first with only promises of future enforcement, and, according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, it increases unemployment while decreasing wages.

The highest-ranking Soviet-bloc intelligence officer ever to defect to the West claims in a new book that anti-American Islamic terrorism had its roots in a secret 1970s-era KGB plot to harm but the United States and Israel by seeding Muslim countries with carefully targeted propaganda. Yuri Andropov, the KGB chief for 15 years before he became the Soviet premier, sent hundreds of agents and thousands of copies of propaganda literature to Muslim countries. 'By 1972,' according to the book, 'Andropov's disinformation machinery was working around the clock to persuade the Islamic world that Israel and the United States intended to...

Your calling effort yesterday was phenomenal! The number of Senators who voted against the Schumer-Rubio Amnesty bill, S.744, has doubled since debate first started, and we're approaching the 41 NO votes needed to derail the bill. But with only four scheduled votes left, we need you to call your Senators NOW toll-free at 888-995-8349. The fate of S.744 will be determined by the end of the week, so we need your continued urgent calls! Here's what's left: 1. final vote on Schumer-Corker-Hoeven amnesty amendment (50 votes needed), 2. motion to limit debate on Leahy manager's amendment (60 votes), 3. final...

Updated: Monday, June 24, 2013, 10:01 AM At 5:30 p.m. EDT, the Senate will vote on the Corker-Hoeven Amnesty amendment to the Schumer-Rubio Amnesty bill, S.744. Passage of this amendment could greatly improve the chances of this terrible legislation passing later this week. We need your urgent phone calls to your two U.S. Senators telling them to vote NO on the Corker-Hoeven amendment. Call NOW toll-free at 888-995-8349. I'm a US Citizen, natural-born and raised, dammit. And it's a distinction that makes a difference to me. Apparently, though, "US citizenship" is an antiquated device; a relic from an earlier age when Obama's "Founding Founders" were all racists who never embraced or never could have conceived of the transnational "world without borders" view favored by our current President and the creepy, neo-totalitarian progressive radicals that prop him up. When last we saw Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, she was vetoing every piece of legislation the Republican controlled legislature passed until they agreed to her budget which included expanding Medicaid under ObamaCare. Since that didn't work she's now doing an end run around the GOP majorities in the legislature to pass the state's ObamaCare plan. Fed up with weeks of debate and delay on her top legislative priority, Gov. Jan Brewer called lawmakers into an unprecedented special session late Tuesday, bypassing the leadership of her own party to push through Medicaid expansion and the 2014 budget. The governor’s surprise move comes...

The White House insists President Obama is "outraged" by the "inappropriate" targeting and harassment of conservative groups. If true, it's a remarkable turnaround for a man who helped pioneer those tactics. On Aug. 21, 2008, the conservative American Issues Project ran an ad highlighting ties between candidate Obama and Bill Ayers, formerly of the Weather Underground. The Obama campaign and supporters were furious, and they pressured TV stations to pull the ad—a common-enough tactic in such ad spats. What came next was not common. Bob Bauer, general counsel for the campaign (and later general counsel for the White House), on...

In 2016: Obama's America, the most successful and artful conservative documentary to date, author and producer Dinesh D'Souza takes a step closer to exposing the real Barack Obama. To get there, however, he will have to remove the obstacles he has set in his own way. "Obama came out of nowhere," says D'Souza at the film's beginning. "No one really knew him." "After statehood in 1959 the Federal Government came in, and the syndicate went underground, but maintained the same control, and does so to this day," says Gilbert. Presumably due a variety of poll-driven rationales, it has failed to exploit many of the President's most glaring (and chilling) weaknesses. Simply put, the Romney ads focus on Mitt's strengths (good), Obama's policy weakness (good), Obama's lousy record in office (good), plus they provide somewhat tepid responses to the toxic lies and specious charges hurled against Romney (ok). New research by Joel Gilbert into Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis’ seedy history in Hawaii has bolstered the filmmaker’s theory that Davis was the biological father of Barack Obama. Gilbert has uncovered handwritten letters by Davis that strongly suggest the acknowledged Obama mentor’s pornographic sex novel “Sex Rebel: Black” was based on Davis’ personal life. Davis refers to the 1968 book as his “thoroughly erotic autobiography” in a letter to Margaret Burroughs, the well-known African-American artist, whose steamy affair with him, Davis explains, was included in the novel. Democrat personality David Paterson, former governor of New York and now a talk-radio host on WOR in New York City, has suggested Barack Obama could be ineligible for the Oval Office and “got away” with it. And Paterson linked Obama’s actions to treason. On his show yesterday, he was asserting, along with NBC Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd, that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney should have distanced himself more from developer Donald Trump and his doubts about Obama’s eligibility. “Even if he wasn’t born in the United States at this point,” Paterson said. “It’s kind of like he got...

An intelligence source in Hawaii who warned early last year that a forged Obama birth record would be released now says that amid continued doubts about the authenticity of the document posted on the White House website, a forged “original” birth certificate intended to pass forensic inspection by using 1961 materials is being prepared and could be released as an “October surprise.” The source, who has contact with Hawaii government officials, was questioned by Mike Zullo, the head of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse team. Zullo recently returned from a trip to Hawaii to follow up on...

After days of ridicule for launching a conspiracy theory-fueled investigation into Barack Obama’s birth certificate, Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett on Tuesday backed off his threat to keep the president off the ballot in November and apologized to his state. “If I embarrassed the state, I apologize, but that certainly wasn’t my intent,” Bennett said in an interview with Phoenix radio station KTAR. “He’ll be on the ballot as long as he fills out the same paperwork and does the same things that everybody else has.” Bennett said he still intends to keep asking Hawaii for verification that Obama’s...

Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett is threatening to keep President Obama’s name off the state’s ballot in November unless he receives confirmation from Hawaii that it has a valid birth certificate on file for him. Bennett, who spoke to Arizona radio host Mike Broomhead Thursday, said he requested the confirmation eight weeks ago and has not gotten it. Hawaii, he said, does not have to supply a certified copy of the birth certificate, merely send him an email confirming that it has one. Asked by Broomhead if he would remove Obama’s name from the ballot if Hawaii fails to...

Conservative commentator and website editor Andrew Breitbart died of heart failure and had up to a 60 percent narrowing of a major artery, a Los Angeles County coroner’s office report released Wednesday said. The office ruled that the cause of Breitbart’s death was heart failure and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with focal coronary atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. Coroner’s officials deemed the death "natural." Breitbart collapsed near his Westwood home on the west side of Los Angeles March 1. He was 43. Paramedics found Breitbart unable to breath and shocked him with a defibrillator four times. He was in full arrest...

A state official in Arizona has asked Hawaii for verification of the information on Barack Obama’s birth certificate, the document that Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s special investigative team has concluded may be a forgery. Members of the Surprise, Ariz., Tea Party, who petitioned Arpaio to investigate Obama’s eligibility, say they are awaiting word from the state secretary of state regarding whether Obama’s name will be on the 2012 presidential ballot in Arizona. Secretary of State Ken Bennett had promised to ask Hawaii officials for verification of Obama’s documentation, vowing that if answers are not forthcoming, Obama’s name will not be on...

A man who witnessed the collapse of conservative media icon Andrew Breitbart, the founder of and other sites, said he collapsed like a “sack of bricks” and died with a “thick white band” around his forehead. The testimony comes from Christopher Lasseter, 26, who was walking his dog outside the Brentwood Restaurant and saw Breitbart leave the eatery, cross the street and fall to the ground on the opposite side of the street. On assignment from WND, Los Angeles private investigator Paul Huebl found Lasseter Tuesday evening. In a video provided to WND and posted on YouTube, Huebl filmed...

Changes in the wording of Selective Service System record-keeping requirements, made days after the opening of an investigation into the alleged forgery of President Barack Obama’s selective service registration form, raise serious questions about U.S. Government intentions. The new rules allow existing copies of documents that may be sought by investigators to be destroyed. The Selective Service System’s new privacy rules were published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, four days after the September 16 announcement by World Net Daily that the Maricopa County (Arizona) Sheriff’s Office “Cold Case Posse” was opening an inquiry with full subpoena...

Long after the controversy over President Obama’s birthplace seemed settled, some Republican congressional candidates in North Carolina have brought new attention to the issue as they seek advantages in hard-fought primary races. Richard Hudson, considered a leading Republican candidate in the race to unseat Democratic U.S. Rep. Larry Kissell in the 8th Congressional District, told a Tea Party group in Rowan County recently that “there’s no question President Obama is hiding something on his citizenship.” Dr. John Whitley, one of Hudson’s opponents in Tuesday’s primary, declared Obama’s birth certificate a “poorly reproduced forgery” after comparing it to the Hawaiian birth...
