Deputies allege he towed more than 100 vehicles June 5 to 9 from a parking lot at Westwood Town Center off International Drive, which is across the street from the event's host hotel, Doubletree by Hilton. Combs didn't have an up-to-date contract to tow vehicles or have proper signage notifying...

The story of Gideon is all about God sending a man in to battle with what appeared to those around him to be a weak army. God continued to whittle his army down until such time as Gideon felt he was going into battle with an enemy FAR greater than him and his 300 men. But God had a perfect plan; that Gideon WOULD win and Our Lord would receive all the glory as there was no way Gideon would recieve glory based on strength of his army. The Hill ^ | 9/20/13 | Pete Kasperowicz
The House on Friday passed legislation that defunds ObamaCare but would keep the government running through mid-December. The legislation was approved on a party line 230-189 vote, with Rep. Scott Rigel (Va.) the only GOP no vote. Two Democrats voted for the measure, Reps. Jim Matheson (Utah) and Mike McIntyre (N.C.). Passage of the bill sets up a showdown with the Senate, and moves the two sides closer to a possible government shutdown on Oct. 1. The ObamaCare language is expected to be stripped from the bill in the Senate, setting up a critical week of negotiations next week. House...

Let's face facts people. Obama and his evil ilk know exactly what they're doing. We've heard, unequivocally, that if the US bombs Syria, Syria will attack Israel. This is the end goal for Obama. This is his way of destroying Israel without any direct attack. A big question is, where are ANY of the conservatives, in power, defending us? I know Ted has said something and Rand but, really...where's the rest of them?

Orlando Sentinel ^ | 6/22/13 | By Rene Stutzman and Jeff Weiner
In a major victory for murder suspect George Zimmerman, a judge today ruled that prosecutors may not put on the witness stand two state audio experts who say the voice heard screaming in the background of a 911 call was someone other than Zimmerman. The judge had heard three days of testimony about the science used by the state's experts and ruled that it failed to meet Florida's legal standard. One of the experts, Alan R. Reich, had concluded the voice he identified as Trayvon is heard yelling "I'm begging you" and "stop." The other, Tom Owen, says he ruled...

Anyone seeing Obama become Christie's Brownie right before our very eyes? Christie overtly touting Obama as doing a great job, most fantastic guy ever, blah blah blah. And the contrast of what's going on there in NJ, in particular, is stunning. Utility workers turned away because they aren't union (holy crap), no food, water or gas; no response for many of them and the desperation is starting to top the charts. Obama and Christie will go down as huge failures on this catastrophe and it serves Christie right for touting Obama as the best thing to happen to the US...

It sounds as appealing as apple pie: ensuring religious freedom. In reality, a proposed amendment to the Florida Constitution facing the state's voters is a much more complicated, and combustible, combination of religion and politics. Already, activists across the political spectrum are forming political action committees, holding news conferences and setting up websites as they mobilize for battle between now and November. The focus of their attention is proposed Amendment 8, which would rewrite the "religious freedom" section of the state Constitution. It would remove the longstanding ban on taxpayer funding of churches, synagogues, mosques and other religious institutions and...

George Zimmerman can ask to have the second-degree-murder charge against him dropped without having to stand trial in the death of Trayvon Martin. Two years ago, the Florida Supreme Court ruled that anyone claiming "stand your ground" immunity in a death, battery or assault case can request a hearing on the evidence. The hearing allows the prosecution and defense to argue all the elements of self-defense in the case evidence. To get charges dismissed, the accused must convince the judge that a reasonable person would believe that using deadly force or the threat of deadly force was the only way...

But sources familiar with the process believe Craig is being set-up as the fall guy and say the blame for missing the deadline extends well beyond him. Instead, it was a widespread breakdown on the political, legislative, policy and planning fronts that contributed to what is shaping up as one of Obama’s most high-profile setbacks, these people say.
