I apologize in advance because I am not overly educated nor well spoken. I do NOT understand the national fixation with political families and cronies. The Bushes, the Clintons, the Kennedys, etc., and their "inner circle" friends. Can someone educate me? Is there a reason we keep electing the same political class, in election after election? Both parties do it, and the people jump at the chance to vote for them. I will never vote for another Bush, or Clinton, or Kennedy. I will never vote for their campaign henchmen either. I probably shouldn't post because I only saw half of the interview. Having said that, Anderson Cooper interviewed one of the Jurors and it was outstanding! I watch most NASCAR races. During every race I can remember, the sponsor of a race is mentioned at least while going to a commercial, and coming back from a commercial. The sponsor is usually mentioned at least a few dozen other times during the race. The winner of a race at Texas Motor Speedway is also presented a pair of pistols that he shoots, at the trophy presentation. I have a problem. I was reading posts from Military folks on a certain social internet forum about Military Discounts. It seems as though a fair number of Soldiers were offended that a certain restaurant didn't offer a discount. I responded that when I served, I never expected a discount. If one was offered, I would accept, but I never asked for one. I just finished watching the Commissioning Ceremony for the USS Fort Worth, on Facebook. First of all, it was an outstanding ceremony. There is nothing quite like adding a new ship into our Navy. We are screwed. I was watching C-span and the House had a vote on an amendment to cut 11 million from the National Endowment for the Arts. It failed because 55 Republicans joined all the Democrats in voting against it. If we can't cut 11 million from a worthless program, what hope do we have?
