The West Point graduate and Iraq War Army veteran President Donald Trump has nominated to be the new Army Secretary has a very good understanding of the Second Amendment, which is predictably driving anti-liberty liberals insane. Tennessee state Sen. Mark Green (R), President Donald Trump's nominee for Army secretary, strongly believes that citizens should be armed -- and not just with any ol' guns. They should be able to possess whatever weapons the military has, because an armed citizenry is the "ultimate checks and balances" against the federal government.

The flights of the two bombers on Monday came as U.S. President Donald Trump said he was open to meeting North Korean leader...

"The military is obviously planning for a number of options, as they should - minimal military action to more significant action," said Cruz, who ran a failed presidential campaign against Trump last year.

United States Ambassador Henry Cooper has warned that North Korea has been working on ways of causing mass blackouts across the US using Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) technology for years and the government has no defense against such an attack. The former advisor to President Ronald Reagan also stated that Kim Jong-un has the capability to shut down the entire North American power grid with devastating consequences. North Korea has been developing ways of triggering an EMP device for "some time", according to Copper, by means of launching one through a missile or triggering it from a satellite.

The paper also likened the USS Carl Vinson to a "gross animal" and said a strike on the carrier would be "an actual example to show our military's force."

Obama said the "solemn responsibility" of the office and the "extraordinary demands" made on the United States "demands seriousness," and Trump will "figure out pretty fast" that the demands of the job are "not things you can treat casually." "And, if you're not serious about the job, then you probably won't be there very long because it will expose problems," he said. "Even when you're doing a good job, even when you are attentive. DONALD Trump's closest politial ally has rubbished Russia's claims of military might as he angles for a top job in the Republican new administration. Former mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani said the Kremlin's aggressive rhetoric was all bluster, suggesting Moscow did not pose a threat to the West. Mr Giuliani, who is being lined up for the job of Secretary of State - America's equivalent of foreign secretary - blasted: "Russia thinks it's a military competitor - it really isn't." But the senior Republican also attacked Barack Obama for allowing Vladimir Putin to seize on instability around the world...

BRITAIN'S Armed Forces will be asked to form a closer military alliance with the US and fight operations on an "equal footing", sources in Washington DC revealed last night. The news emerged as General Lord Dannatt, former head of the British Army, called for the UK to boost defence spending by a further $5bn a year to fill "crucial capability gaps". He added that Britain's post-Brexit stance, which "bound in the US to European defence", would give it a new leverage over Brussels which could "put the pin" in the idea of a Euro Army. Vladimir Putin is considering quitting as Russian President, a Kremlin expert has claimed. The 64-year-old may stand down due to 'certain circumstances' that mean he will need to be out of the spotlight next year, it is suggested. Russian political analyst Valery Solovey hinted that Putin, who welcomed the election of Donald Trump as US President, may be forced to step aside due to illness. Mr Solovey, professor at Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs, said the president might need to 'avoid publicity in 2017 for several months or will appear very rarely'.

President-elect Donald Trump's threat to sink Iranian ships was "just a joke" according to one of the country's generals. "The person who has recently achieved power, has talked off the top of his head! Threatening Iran in the Persian Gulf is just a joke," General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri said, according to The Times of Israel. He added that presidential candidates in the United States "eat too much sugar" during campaigns, referring to a Farsi proverb about talking nonsense. Trump said in September that Iranian ships attempting to provoke America "will be shot out of the water" if he were president.

Anyone who's followed Donald J. Trump on Twitter will know that he has an explosive temper - which might be a bit of a worry when he commands the world's second-biggest nuclear arsenal. But could he really unleash nuclear holocaust if he was a bit annoyed? He genuinely could - so quickly, in fact, that devastation would reach the other side of the globe quicker than most of us could order a pizza to our doors. If Donald Trump were to give the order to attack, no one can countermand it - the military will simply check the codes, and...
