On average, Democrats (that’s my team*) use guns for shooting the innocent. We call that crime. On average, Republicans use guns for sporting purposes and self-defense. I recall a quote to the effect that society is doomed when the majority realizes that they can vote themselves riches from the public coffers. The context is our current situation, where the bottom 50% of taxpayers currently pay only 4% of the taxes. The only thing that may be saving those of us who pay our fair share (or more) is that proportionately fewer of the bottom 50% actually vote!
