Why doesn't McCain get it all over with and just put his "good friend" Teddy Kennedy on his grubby ticket now?

Can you say President Hillary Clinton?

The way I have it figured, McCain and Hillary have a total of 88 YEARS suckling at the public teat.

Anyone with a REAL job (private sector) is...f*****...

    ...as usual.

I hate McCain...I hate the Clintons..and country is going straight to hell.

    ...suspended WITH pay.

You know what every taxpayer WORKING in the private sector (aka real world) is?

    A sap...a total sap.

Even though this scumbag cop may (but don't bet on it) get kicked off the force, he'll wind up somewhere in parasite land after attending some sexual 12 step program (paid, of course, by us saps).

His sap financed lottery public pension -- with sap financed health care -- will be right on schedule at age 50.

    I hate this f...... country!

^I STILL live in Evesham (Heritage Village) and my property taxes have went up 40% in 5 years. I'm now paying about $4300/yr on a 1200 square ft house!!

^I paid off the mortgage just this week. Good news, right? Well, counting all the overhead on the place...excluding food...taxes now account for about 55% of my total monthly nut!!!

^Thomas Jefferson is rolling over in his grave! Hell, Ronald Reagan is too!!!

^Comrade Corzine cannot possibly be thinking about more taxes increases can he?

    ^Only when he's awake I bet!!

I'm here in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey (South Jersey).

I dated a special education teacher a few years ago. Nice girl. And a Republcan! (probably the only Republican school teacher in the state).

Anyway, on our first date - we hit it off pretty good - she told me about her salary, her benefits, her time off (massive), and, of course, her lottery style pension.

    My reaction went as follows:

"...and you expect ME to pick up the tab???"

Should of married her and became a house husband...beats working at a real job!

P.S. "Special Ed" is merely another scam the educational industrial complex throws at hapless taxpayers with impunity. If current trends continue about 101% of students will be "special ed" by next Tuesday. Pony Up, sucker-property owner!!

    Government "workers" are:

...over paid, over pampered, arrogant, talentless, excuse making parasites.

Right - lets get hysterical about Enron, Worldcom, and a few other corrupt corporations...

...and ignore the 40 million (FORTY MILLION!) lay abouts at all levels of government on the "job" or collecting their OBSCENE pensions and are having a mardi gras on your private sector (i.e. real job) earnings.

Ever wonder why you can't afford a nicer home, a newer car, a better private education for your kids? Hint - it isn't Ken Lay...or Dick Cheney...or dotcom scam stocks.

Nope - it's being forced at the point of gun to throw half you earnings down the public sector rat drain.

BTW - I'm not some crazy libertarian who wants to privitize street lights. Cops, firemen, EMT, and, of course, the military are all legitimate uses of public money.

    Just cut out EVERYTHING else!

First on the list - the government school system, which is nothing more than a giant corrupt money laundering scheme for the Democrat party.

Then the post office, which has 800,000 "workers" (600,000 of which would be grubbing for worms in less than a week if they had to go out into the real world and get real jobs).

Like everyone else on the dole, thier lifetime employment comes via nepotism and the perverted racial spoils system.

Naturally I could go on...and on...and on...but my head is about to explode.

The average non-politically connected sap working his ass off in the private sector gets a lousy 401(k) plan with shitty investment options (if he's lucky) and will have to work until he's about, oh, 106.

The average politically connected parasite loafing on the public teat hits the pension lottery at age 55 (or sooner).

"Taxes are the price we pay for civilization."

    You are sooooooo right.

I know guys who "work" for the gov't. Naturally, they got their jobs by nepotism, which is the ony way a white guy can get a gov't "job".

    Bums...every single one of them.

A gov't job is the closest thing to hitting the lottery there is.

I try to explain to them how they don't actually pay taxes. They pay kick backs. You and I and the rest of us breaking our asses in the private sector pay taxes...

...which, of course, finances the drones over-inflated salaries, outrageous benefits, and obscene pensions.

Most are arrogant, greedy, and if they had to go out into the real world (i.e. the private sector) they would be grubbing for worms within a week.

BTW, the next time you hear our heroic, angelic public school teachers bitch about how they're underpaid, take a drive by the faculty parking lot of your local high school...

...late model SUVs (yep, they drive 'em) and brand new Toyota Camrys rule the roost.

Yes, yes, those "professionals" are certainly underpaid.

Question: If public school teachers are so underpaid, how come there are so few "former public school teachers"?

I live in Marlton - less than a mile from where President Bush is visiting on Monday.

We are the only part of Jersey that is reliably Republican. Bush/Cheney lawn signs outnumber Kedwards signs by about 5 to 1.

This is really a no-lose move for the campaign because:

    a) The good guys may be able to at least put the heat on Kerry to spend time and money here (not to mention winning the state outright).

    b) We are in the Philadelphia TV market (New Jersey doesn't have any commercial TV affiliates) and the event will get good play there (basically free air time to help in Pennsylvania).

    c) The Philadelphia local TV news coverage -- unlike the horrible Philly newspapers -- usually call it fair. Not too much biased left-wing commentary.

    d) Many voters in this area are absolutely outraged at the Philadelphia Inquirer for thier 21 day -- 21 DAY!!! -- rolling endorsement of Kerry. I, for one, cancelled my subscription immeadiately. Nothing would make us more happy than sending a huge "up yours" card to the Inquirer by winning both Pennsylvania AND New Jersey.

At least you know what you're getting with Stern, who's actually funny when doing the news or bashing pompous Hollywood types. But lesbians and bathroom "humor" gets pretty old, pretty fast. Predictably enough he has crucified Rush the last few days.

Imus is another story. He's a POS (IMHO). And a liar. And not funny. Or entertaining (see his latest ratings book for confirmation). His show sucks and having an occasional conservative on doesn't change that.

Oh, and he's also a moron. Doesn't Imus realize that at least some (of the few) people who listen to his show also listen to Rush? Why alienate the already anemic audience you have?

Listen, Rush f***** up and good. He will -- and should -- pay.

    But here's a prediction:

Rush will be back and get back most of his audience...

...and Imus will still be getting a tenth of Stern's ratings (and a 20th a Rush's).

The hosts were (naturally) outraged. Callers less so.

    My take:

    1) McNabb IS overrated.

    2) McNabb's "overratedness" has nothing to do with the NFL bigwigs wanting to promote black quarterbacks.

    3) McNabb's overratedness has everything to do with not being an accurate passer, not being able to read a defense, and not telling his pompous coach -- Andy Reid -- to stick his lousy game plans up his ever expanding back side.

    4) Rush's comment WAS silly.

    5) Rush should stick to his day job (of which I am a big fan).

I suppose it's the ultimate Catch-22 for the single ladies: On the one hand they want to marry a guy with his shit half together...but any guy with his shit half together is going to be well aware that his life can (will?) be destoyed by the ridiculous divorce laws.

You can thank the Gloria Allreds and the Hillary Clintons of the world for that.

    Tough luck ladies...buy a puppy.

Meth -- we called it Crank 20 years ago -- is the just about the worst. You snort it, then smoke it, then shoot it (then go crazy).

I dunno. I'm usually of the libertarian bent when it comes to such things, but meth IS nasty (right up -- or down -- there with heroin).

Of course cigarettes are MUCH worse. /sarcasm

  • Kevin Millwood Pitches No Hit, No Run Game; Phillies beat San Francisco 1-0

I watched the game. Millwood had it workin' today!

Plus, a wonderful by product of the CNN Time Warner/Ted Turner implosion. If AOL/TW stock hadn't tanked, the Braves (who are owned by AOL) could have afforded Millwood's salary. They couldn't and practically gave him away to the Phillies (the good guys) for back up catcher Johnny Estrada.

He just might pitch the Phils to an Eastern Division title over the loathsome Braves.

They interviewed Kevin after the game. He seems like a real nice guy to boot. A Republican, I bet.
