All red necks are not created equal. I would never harass some one like that. We watched what was going on because we value our community. We also guard our property from those that try to take. We beleive in helping those in need. Being a redneck is not a bad thing in most cases, however sometimes there are those who let their brain coast. One thing though, I have not locked my door in a long time, and dont have people out my way looking to cause me greif.

Three weeks ago, there was a influx of these people at Chewelah Wa, where I have a small farm. ( actually, my farm is at Horse Shoe Lake, so far out there its not even on most maps) They had planned to stay in the mountain medows between Chewelah and Usk, off the Flowery Trail. One of them was making a nusance of himself in Chewelah, so I got him out of town by giving him a ride up the mountain. ( his name was Sunshine, go figure)He told me where they were going to spend the summer. Now the Chewelah area has had a very wet spring, I let him know if he was going to stay in the area they had planned on he was going to be very wet. The mountain meadows in that area are water logged. He told me they stay in touch by cell phones. Told me how they make markers at road junctions so people who were in the know knew where to go. He spoke about us who live in Babalon were fools, how they just lived off the land. ( meaning us from Babalon). I got him out of town because it was getting late, and I did not want him wandering around at night, things have a way of dissapearing in small towns with these folks around. I even took him to the store and purchased some food for him and his crew. When I dropped him off, I told him if they were to stay over the summer, to be very carefull about were they went in the area, beleive it or not, the Chewelah area is real western hillbilly country. There are place’s you just don’t go uninvited. Later that week we knew they left for Western Washington. It was to wet and cold up our way. Also, some of us locals were keeping tract of what was going on in the area. We found out that they do not like redneck-hillbillys in pic-ups and guns wandering the countryside keeping watch. Not much profit for them. Things were tied down to tight for them to survive, we keep watch, and are dammed serious when we do. I do feel sorry for those in the area they have invaded. May god grant they safty from this hoard! P.S. Should anyone ever want to live in a very safe place, Check out Northwestern Washington, Stevens County.

I have a brother-in-law, wifes brother, who at 44, has had about 6 or 7 jobs in his life. None lasting more than 3 months. Has raised 4 kids on the government dole. They live better on handouts, than I do working full time, plus I always get side work. I work my tail off, his tax returns are better than mine. I have always ask him how that happens, his answer, child tax credits, his kids special needs ect. His kids walk and talk like most others.

His oldest does have some medical problems, and has been on ssi since birth. She recently turned 18 and left the house to go to school. Their answer was to get their 6 year old on ssi so as not to lose the income. I could not live like that, however the Government maintains this liability by encouraging this behavior. Tuff to watch someone who could be productive, spend their life this way. I will say they seem to work hard at working the system. They do not seem to understand that some day, they will have a rude awakening.

This way you can get to compitent medical care in the US if your abroad. Should you travel they will supply insurance to get you back to the US if something goes haywire. My experiance was with them was 1st class.

There in lays the conservitive problem. We as a group will not suport anyone who does not beleive just as we do. Should we (as a Group) make up our mind not to support someone if they win the primary, then who do you think the other side is going to try to manipulate into the winners spot? This is why we got McCain last time. If you dont think the left did not have a hand in that your nuts. I do not want Romney, he is a true politician, will say most anything. His stance on abortion makes me ill. There are many people who are better than him, but I WILL NOT STAY HOME if he is the canidate. I refuse to concede the next election to Obama!

Do you remember the two weddings? ( Clinton vers Bush ). They sum up the whole difference between Republican and Democrats. Republicans know the power of money and how to spend it to do the most good. ie send your donation to the candidate of your choice instead of the RNC. Democrats send donations to the DNC in greater numbers than to candidates.

Clinton's spend 5 million on a wedding, Bush family spends approx 200k. Bush family understands that its not what you spend that proves you have wealth. Clinton's don't.

The only thing democrats know how to do is spend wealth, at least most republicans know what it takes to create the wealth in the first place, and husband it accordingly.

My mother is a very large republican donor. She will send money to Dino Rossi every time he sends a request, and he is not the only one. She is now in her late 80s and although she is slower than years ago, she keeps her head in the game as to who to support. She always told us to ceate money you have to save, watch what you spend ect.

I always knew Obama and family had no idea how wealth was created, and their vacations proved it. They have the democrat ideology, spend someone elses money, you can always tax for more.

First, background checks, which include medical, financial, criminal, family history. Then the lawyers get involved, oh and let us not forget the state crawling though your home life, social services people. Then do it all over again with the next person or group that wants to put you under a scope. Heaven forbid that you forgot a utility bill from a move 10 years earlier. ( was a $12.43 garbage bill). Then you start all over again if someone somewhere losses some of your paperwork.

Then lets talk overseas, it never ends. Should you go to adopt, you need to have deep pockets. Once we were asked if we were christian. Once we were asked if we were Muslim. Back ground check for firearms. Why did I have a speeding ticket in Nevada ect ect. I was born overseas on an Air Force base, was I sure I was a US Citizen. My wife has a degree in chemistry/biology, why did she not work. I can go on and on. Try it sometime and then tell me how it does not cost.

There is one way to do it cheaper. Go through the foster system, ( they will pay for all the background checks ). However be prepared as it will take years to complete, and you can lose custody of the child through the courts if some judge decides to reunite a child with their family. That can be a heartbreaker.

May I be so bold as to share with you a thought? As a parent you will have many ups and some downs, this is what has worked for us. Love what you have, love what you hold, and always take the exta minute when your in a rush, for your child to know that your never to busy for that, question or moment when all of a sudden they need you. For they will never need you, unless your real busy. Since we started with an 11 year old, and always had teenagers, it always was when we were busy. Always try to squirrel away some extra cash, because you will need it. Never buy your child their first car. Boy we went round and round about that.

I never really cared to think about abortion, untill one day it came to the forfront of my life. A person I knew admited to having an abortion because she did not want to be botherd with raising another child. I had a overwelming thought of the horror of the act of murder. That is the only way I now can think of it. My wife and I never had children, although we opened up our home to 7 kids, and I hope we did our best. I told this women that all she would have had to do is tell us or many other people, and her child would have had a home. Her answer, she could not bear to have someone else raise her child. This thought boggles my mind. We the People have much to answer for in allowing this thing to happen.

When there is an opening they will hire the thirty something way befor they will hire a 52 year old carpenter. Lucky that I owned all my cars and trucks outright. As I needed cash I was able to sell off assets to keep things afloat. Now I am coming up agaist it. I will keep plugging away I guess. However if they dont extend unemployment beifits I am going to flip burgers I guess. I do have a truck left that I am looking at hauling in scrap metal with. As I live in farm country, there seems to be alot of scrap around. The problem is getting ahold of it. Some guys want you to pay as much as you get for it. I do have a guy who buys up old farms, he just purchased one, as soon as it closes he wants me to clean it up. There is about 250 tons of scrap metal. He wants 10% of the net. So after the middle of next month I should be busy for awhile. I HOPE

I tend to agree. This is the first time in 30 years that I have drawn unemployment insurance. I am a carpenter by trade and have always been able to pick up the phone and get a job. I have moved across country to work when I had to. The last time I drew unemployment was in 1978, the first week I got out of the service. The next week I was working, and have worked ever since. Untill now. I cant buy myself a job. As much as I hate to say it, we need unemployment to cotinue, there are to many without other options.

I am going to jump in here, I am a carpenter by trade, my last job ended on August 22, 2008. I filed for unemployment. This was the first time since 1978 when I got out of the Army that I filed for unemployment. I have always been able to pick up the phone and find another job. I work/build skyscrapers and other commercial projects. I am fairly good at what I do. I am now over 50, and have worked overseas and in the U.S. My average work week is about 65 hrs. I have made a good living. I have my own tools and the ability to use them. I cant buy or beg a job, at any decent wage. $20 or better.

I was offerd a job at $13 hr, except I would have had to hire undocumented workers, and have to pic them up and transport them to job site. I WILL NOT HIRE/WORK WITH UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS..... I will not build substandard structures. I am still able to pay my bills, house payment ect. I have no consumer debt. However things are not easy. I have never been this long without work. Today I was driving my wife to the Drs ( cancer treatment) My last running car broke down. Lucky I still have some cash, was able to rent from Enterprise. Now before anyone thinks I am looking for help, that is not the reason for this post.

Before anyone goes off their tanget, Do not tell me people should be willing to take any job, there are not any to be had at my age. I have applied to work as a waiter, gas station attendant, window washer, and so may others I can’t count. Every job interveiw I go to has 10 or more people at it. My biggest fear is the longer I am out of work the worse shape I am in. I am getting alot of charity work done though. Built a few ramps for folks that are in need ect. IF YOUR EMPLOYED DO NOT TELL ME THAT THERE ARE JOBS OUT THERE. YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF LOOKING FOR ONE SOON. I never thought I would be in this possition. Lucky for me I have had savings. Now things are going to get tougher. 19 months and counting.

I guess you have never seen a bit bull in full attack mode, they dont stop. This guy was more than likly fighting it, 1 to get it off the woman, 2 to keep it off him. When a pit is enraged, it will not stop short of death. We were not there, however I will bet it was a very intence 5 min. Maybe a secuity video caught it on tape. He should be so lucky!!!

Sorry to tell you this, but in the case of the Smart Car, you don’t know what the heck your talking about. The Samrt Car is very well designed and while it will not hold up to a crash test like an suv, it will hold up better than most small cars. The key to the Smart design is the shell. I have seen all the research on Smart Cars and have driven them, purchased one and it is a kick in the pants!
While I have a V10 mopar that really, really rocks, the Smart is alot of fun also. It drove home from Seattle, ( 375 miles) at a respectable freeway speed, and clocked good mileage . Remember the Smart Car is built to comute, to and from work, store ect... draws lots of notice and I meet alot of people just by driving it. While I will not give up my V10, I also like the Smart, covertible, paddle shifters, tac, ac, cruise, ect. I did go and look at one that was in an accident, while it was a mess, the cage was in very good shape, side and front air bags did their job. Should anyone purchase this kind of car, who better to get it from than Daimler. They know how to build cars!!!

As no government in the world will do anything about these pirates, maybe someone with some moxie ought to put together a group of mercs and go take over this country. Shoot any warlord or pirate that objects, just plain take the area over. People like this only understand one thing, Force, overwelming force!!!!
