  • TIME Photo of Crying Child That Raised $18 Million Proven Fake, Father Says Never Taken From Mother

If you are a parent-married or single-living in any state in the USA, just try deciding you want to “get a better life” in Canada, packing up yourself and your 2 year old child and sneaking away at 6AM, abandoning your spouse and other children-especially when he/she told you this was all a stupid idea-and you’d already gotten busted for illegal entry to Canada and deported before-there is an absolute 100% chance that when you got caught by their border patrol, your kid would be turned over to Canada’s child protective services while you were placed under arrest, your spouse would be contacted and your child returned to his custody, for a start.

He would file for divorce, and full custody of all the kids-and likely get it. So you end up in jail with no money, no kids, no spouse and no home because you are a criminal and an unfit parent...

Also-these people are not destitute-he is a boat captain, and the woman was able to get $6K to pay a coyote-I’d have a good deal of difficulty raising $6K, and I’m self-employed and make US wages-I hope the husband does divorce that bitch and take the kids-she is both an unfit parent and a special kind of stupid...

That is scary-I really hope the bear stays away-

Once when the cub was about 10, we were camping in the mountains in New Mexico-we had taken our little travel trailer instead of sleeping in a tent, because of so many bears in that forest. We’d unhooked the trailer, set up camp and were getting ready to turn in when my husband asked the cub if she was sure she hadn’t left so much as a crumb of food in the Suburban, and she said she had not. In the wee hours, we were awakened by a commotion outside, and the cub whispering “mommy, daddy-a bear!”

Turns out she had left a half-empty package of Oreo cookies in an ice chest in the back of the Suburban, thinking since it was a closed container, no bear would smell cookies-wrong- as we watched at the window, a big black bear crawled into the open back window after bending the tailgate, squashed the ice chest into pieces growling the whole time, ate the cookies then tore up the carpet and upholstery looking for more before rambling off into the woods-well over $1200 damage to the vehicle. Needless to say, we checked the vehicle for food ourselves when camping in bear country, no matter what the cub said...

Your SIL has a charmed life for certain-never heard of anyone who went on “real” camping trips unarmed-I certainly don’t-my 1st hubby and I camped all over Texas and New Mexico-took our cub, too when she was a kid-but even in the Guadalupe Mountains we were both armed because of the black bears there...

I’ve been told by people from Alaska and wild places in the Pacific Northwest and Canada that it is normal there for humans to be a food source.

Black bears were re-introduced to several wilderness areas nearby a few years ago-they have been caught on camera 20 miles from this rural area a couple of times in the last few months-I’m not nervous-yet...

It is common here to sell off livestock in a drought when the pasturage isn’t sustaining the livestock you have-it is either that or buy hay to make up the difference-which is ruinously expensive-drought brings the price of cattle/beef down and inflates the price of a bale of hay to ridiculous levels, but that is how life in works in the world outside of cities where food comes from...

What a brilliant idea-growing your own damn grass in an arid/semi arid area as a more reliable food source for livestock than open range grazing-as far as I know, that is what has been done for 200 years of so on the W/SW Texas ranch I’m from, and all the others there-so how is it that livestock keepers in Kenya are just now figuring that out? Oh, well-better late than never I suppose...

Aye, por favor-esta mierda otra vez? Careful, 2nd-you’re making too much sense for the pot-stirrers to understand...

As a Tejana, I’ll remind the survey takers that the majority of us are mostly CAUCASIAN/WHITE-the descendants of the Spaniards who started coming to the New World in the 16th century and interbred with Native Americans from various tribes-some of them had more Caucasian DNA than others, too-so they need to stop the “non white” s***-it just makes them look stupid-there are only 3 races and based on archaeology and DNA findings, none of them has been pure for 10’s of 1000’s of years anyway...

My ancestors came to what was Spanish territory-now Texas and New Mexico-in the late 1700’s-so I’m a Caucasian American and an ethnic Latina-like most from the rural border areas, I’ve spoken/read-Spanish as a 2nd language since early childhood-people like me have been here for a long, long time-we are conservatives, and we vote that way...

  • Millennials tip the least, but it may not be for the reasons you think

I’m betting the reason millennials aren’t tippers is because they do not have to do service and restaurant/bar work for college and living money like most of us have-so they are clueless about things like tipping and customer service. Rural kids out here still do service, ranch and restaurant jobs-but I doubt you’d find one city millennial in 10 who had ever mixed and/or served a bar drink or waited a table at a restaurant... `

If my guy takes me out to eat, we only go to one of the 2 farm-to-table natural/organic restaurants here in the boonies-they are owned by locals who grow and cook the food and the waitstaff consists of their own and other neighbors’ millennial offspring-we tip generously because the service is fantastic...

The alligator is a native species-the python is an invasive non-native species that was sold in petshops-they get turned loose, multiply and decimate native wildlife like the alligator-hence, the python is the one that wildlife management wants removed-I’d guess that the meat and skins don’t go to waste...

“What do they do with those caught?”

If these people are into making a profit-the meat is sold to some of those pricey restaurants serving wild game-and the skins get sold to make wallets, purses, belts-and boots-maybe the price will come down enough for me to afford a pair of python boots...

    “doped-up truckers?”

It used to be much worse than what is likely to happen with legal weed-when I was s teen living on the ranch, many small ranchers-including one of my uncles-owned rigs and worked as long-haul truckers for their main source of income. All the teens knew whose dad, older brother, etc who was un trailero kept a bottle of mollies or other speed capsules, so they could get high and keep truckin’ for a couple days without sleep-talk about dangerous... They would also often take phenobarb to come down when they got to their destination, and crash for 24 hours before picking up their next load and paperwork, hitting the road-and the pills-to do it all again.

Most of those pills were legally prescribed and obtained from a doc-just like the f***ing opiates are now-with that going on, legal weed looks like a goddamn nursery school picnic to me...

I even saw it as a workers comp case manager as late as 2003, when regulations for long haul truckers were tightened-the only difference was that now the truckers were staying wired on cowboy cocaine-aka crystal meth, which is unbelievably addictive and health-destroying...
