Two polls have come out today in the Houston mayoral race: (1) In an election for mayor of Houston today, 11-28, Orlando Sanchez defeats Lee Brown, according to this exclusive KPRC-TV News Election Poll of 500 likely voters conducted 11-26 and 11-27 by SurveyUSA. Today, Sanchez takes 53% of the vote, Brown takes 46%. Brown is chosen almost universally by African-American voters, and by three-fourths of Democrats. Women are split.
