After the election of Obama & seeing what (I believe) he is deliberately doing to the nation with the help of his cohorts, comrades & "man-puppies" in Congress...I'm starting to think in 4-5 years our nation is going to be in such distress, that we might want to move to Texas before the crap hits the fan. Wife got an letter in the mail from the "Office of Control and Audit". Looked like a bill of some sort. Wife gets home, opens it and it's the RNC begging for donations. Have these people gone over the edge completely? Bad enough they support RINO's and try to be so politically correct, but sheesh! It's like they are trying to drive people away!

Our Air Force son is home safe. Thanks be to God for keeping him safe while he was in Iraq and for returning him home to us! Thanks folks for all the prayers!!!

Our son, USAFSecurityForces is out of Iraq!!! He can't say where he is just now. But he is safe and sound. Good is good! We are so thankful for all the prayers and kind thoughts shared on his behalf during this deployment.

Welp, I learned today that my annulment has moved not a single inch in the last 60 days. It's been 14 months since I began this journey and it appears, based on how it's moved to date that my case is never going to be decided. 10 months to another full year. My parish offers me and my wife ZIP in the way of support but they sure like getting those envolopes with a check from us each month. Being denied would be better than this--at least we would have some notion of what we needed to do besides wait....

After Mass today, the Deacon approached wife and I to tell us he had some *good news* regarding my wife's annulment paperwork. It seems her 1st marriage may be deemed invalid according to form. I'm seriously converting to Catholicism. We've ordered copies of the Catechism and have spoken with the Deacon who runs the RCIA. I'm also aware this is a long road and we've just taken our 1st steps onto the entrance ramp. Anyone have a link to the actual tax cut bill Bush signed? I have a lib trying to tell me the bottom rates weren't cut from 15 to 10%. And while I'm at it, wasn't the child tax credit doubled? Looking forward to your knowledgeable responses.

Some of you fine folks are master researchers when it comes to utilizing search engines.
