What was that Hamas-linked CAIR and other Islamic supremacist groups were saying about how it was utterly fanciful that Sharia would ever be used to judge cases in American courts?

PolitiFact, FactCheck, and WaPo All Confirm: The $105 Billion Obamacare Slush Fund Exists SLY to put it nicely for the 3 jokers to hide teh funding in the bill. Why on earth would the House vote to repeal ZERO-care but vote to fund the monstrosity? If the dems had done the budget back in the fall there wouldn't be the possibility of government shutdown in the first place. They didn't want the budget to affect the Nov election and they don't want to commit to it now. It was supposedly to their advantage so that they can say the "Republicans...

The U.S. Secretary of Defense yesterday announced that he's agreed to a plan that will allow one military commander to be in charge of both State National Guard and each military branch's reserve forces when they are deployed to respond to domestic emergencies including terrorist attacks, according to Lisa Daniel of the American Forces Press Service. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, along with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the Council of Governors -- a group President Barack Obama formed in January 2010 to represent all of the states' governors -- signed off on the agreement, known as the Joint Action...

So much for objectivity. One of the FCC stipulations of the Comcast – NBCU merger was the incorporation of non-profit journalism centers into NBC newsrooms. They are charged with maintaining and increasing local news coverage, the regulation based on the relationship between KNSD-TV and KNSD airs the segments, but really can’t take all the credit for them. They are largely the work, a local nonprofit journalism center that has been sharing news tips, co-producing and supplying content to the station for several years. [...] Under the terms of the FCC order approving Comcast’s takeover of NBCU, at least...

Raymond Royal Marshall, sidekick and engineer for syndicated talk show host Neal Boortz, has died. Pete Spriggs, program director for AM750 and now 95.5 FM News/Talk WSB, said he collapsed at his Atlanta home and was pronounced dead at Grady Hospital at about 1 a.m. early Saturday morning. Assistant Program Director Condace Pressley said it was too soon to pinpoint cause of death. He was 43. “He was a good man,” she said. “I can’t believe he’s gone.” Marshall has worked with Boortz for 17 years, according to the WSB Radio biography for Marshall. A St. Louis native and graduate...

A Florida attorney says the misconduct complaint filed against him is a frivolous motion from a disgruntled opposing lawyer for his legal representation of a Christian who converted from Islam. The complaint was filed by The Florida Bar on behalf of Columbus attorney Omar Tarazi as he alleges that John Stemberger, who represented Rifqa Bary after she ran away from Ohio to Florida in 2009 because she feared persecution from her family, appeared on TV as the girl's attorney after he stopped representing her. Tarazi had represented the teenage girl's parents as they hoped to return Bary to their custody,...
  • WTF? OMG, LOL! CIA gives WikiLeaks taskforce naughty name

The CIA has launched a taskforce to assess the impact of 250,000 leaked US diplomatic cables. Its name? WikiLeaks Task Force, or WTF for short. The group will scour the released documents to survey damage caused by the disclosures. One of the most embarrassing revelations was that the US state department had drawn up a list of information it would like on key UN figures – it later emerged the CIA had asked for the information. "Officially, the panel is called the WikiLeaks Task Force. But at CIA headquarters, it's mainly known by its all-too-apt acronym: WTF," the Washington Post...

The first part of our most recent D.C. Insider interview reflects on just how far the media went to protect and promote Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign, including helping secure John McCain as Obama’s Republican opponent. Did you enjoy the holiday? Very much – thank you. There was a long delay in responding to my messages – why? Things were getting a bit…tenuous in recent weeks with all of this. Things had been set in motion – you helped with that, but now others are, as I said before, picking up the ball and running with it. And frankly,...

Barack Obama’s close and longtime relationship with failed Broadway Bank Vice President Alexi Giannoulias raises further questions of just how deeply Obama swims in the corrupted waters of Chicago politics… President Obama and fellow Democrat and former executive of now-failed Broadway Bank Alexi Giannoulias have known one another for well over a decade. Both men’s political careers were running similar arcs until Obama catapulted to national prominence following his speech at the 2004 Democratic Party National Convention. While Giannoulias remained in Illinois to serve as Treasurer, Obama won a position as a United States Senator, and shortly after, the White...

What appears most clear is that it is Russia now openly and aggressively demanding the United States concede to its demands, and enjoying an American president seemingly willing to accomplish just that. It is interesting to note that while it is the TSA body scan/search controversy that now rages in America, President Obama appears primarily focused on obtaining Senate approval for an updated START treaty – an ongoing agreement between the United States and Russia to further reduce their respective nuclear arsenals in the coming years. Such reductions are widely supported by various European nations, and according to a recent...

As former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel begins his Chicago mayoral campaign, political insiders note the seeming battle being waged by the Obama White House to prevent Emanuel from doing so. The question now is – WHY? If any dispute remains of a strong rift having formed between former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and the Obama White House, one need look no further than the actions of Illinois election law attorney Burt Odelson’s aggressive campaign to declare Emanuel ineligible due to residency requirements. Just who is Burt Odelson?

We received a brief email update from our White House Insider, indicating a president returning from abroad "dejected and confused" and "emotionally debilitated" over the cold reception he received from world leaders, and White House staff now scrambling to protect the president from a looming scandal. Hello again. Assume you noted all of the incoming by Democrats against Pres? Of particular note is that of Doug S. Doug has been acting as Hillary’s gadfly for some time now. Very connected. Very insightful. Very good. One to be feared. I like Doug. His and Pat’s open declaration against President is clear...

Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States heard arguments in an appeal of a 9th Circuit decision, Winn v Garriott, a challenge to one of Arizona’s education tax credit programs. It’s been getting more press than I’d expected, in the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA Today. That’s great news, because the case is far more important than just saving a program that improves education and expands educational freedom.

But at least during his state visit to India this weekend he won't have to worry about dodging falling coconuts as well as how to forge ties with the resurgent Republicans. As well as stringent security measures, Indian authorities have decided to remove all coconuts from palm trees around Mani Bhavan, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial house in Mumbai, which Mr Obama plans to visit on Saturday.

Yemeni police have arrested a woman on suspicion of mailing a pair of bombs powerful enough to take down airplanes, officials said Saturday as details emerged about a terrorist plot aimed at the U.S. that exploited security gaps in the worldwide shipping system. Investigators were hunting Yemen for more suspects tied to al-Qaida and several U.S. officials identified the terrorist group's top explosives expert in Yemen as the most likely bombmaker.
