Former President Trump attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his abortion stance on Monday, suggesting in an interview that Florida's six-week ban was "too harsh." Trump made the statement in a wide-ranging interview with The Messenger published on Monday. Trump refused to elaborate on his own stance regarding abortion, however, instead claiming to have heard that pro-life voters opposed DeSantis' bill. "He has to do what he has to do," Trump said when asked about Florida's six-week ban. "If you look at what DeSantis did, a lot of people don't even know if he knew what he was doing. But...

I thought would share this. I live in Dayton, OH in a pretty solid GOP district. I have lived and voted here for a number of years. I have never seen such the number of people out to vote! Typically I have to wait about 10 min. This year I am in for a solid 45 to 50 min wait. People are parked all over the place, in the grass, everywhere! I have to think this is a good thing for Trump. Anyone else have a similar experience?

First off, I should state that I believe either Trump or Cruz would make an outstanding President. I am so absolutely disgusted by the abhorrent, selfish, childish behavior of the GOP in regards to who gets the nomination. This has nothing to do with if Trump/Cruz is conservative enough or not, and everything to do with power. If this were simply an issue of political leanings (being a true conservative) the same cast of characters would never support an Olympia Snow, Jeff Flake, Kelly Ayotte, Susan Collins, etc. It is a blatant grab to preserve the status quo for a...

Watch for Corker to introduce a process where Obama's appointee is automatically confirmed unless he or she is voted down. It will be just like Iran. Laugh now, but it's a totally a move that the GOP would do...just so they could say they voted against the appointee! Ha ha! Only halfway joking....we are screwed!

I just got this email from the Walker campaign. "My friend, Our opponents have hit a new low. Now I can’t even order a cheesesteak without being accosted by virulent protesters. Yes, you heard that right -- protestors tried to interrupt a recent campaign stop in Philadelphia by shouting and holding up vulgar signs." I'm sorry, but doesn't this sound weak and whiny??? If you want to be President shouldn't you be able to handle some punk protesters? How are you going to handle Putin? Mexico?, Pelosi?....your K street masters?

For several years the terms GOPe and RINO have been used to describe less than conservative members of the Republican Party. As of today those terms are dead. There are no RINOs and there is no GOPe. There are only Republicans and the GOP. The Party has chosen their future. When only 25 members of the house GOP are willing to listen to their constituents and vote in a principled manner to remove a known betrayer, that tells you all that you need to know about the party as a whole. In my mind, there is nothing that can save...

Does anyone have a listing of email addresses and numbers for members of the Liberty Caucus? This would extremely helpful in the push to oust Boehnor.

Has anyone seen or heard of any upcoming leadership challenges within the GOP? Specifically are the GOP House members just going to lay down again and re-elect Boehnor? Any challenges to McCarthy? How about McConnell? Nothing will change with the same lame losership that the GOP currently has.

On Wednesday—a day before the Malaysian airliner was shot down—President Obama quietly signed an executive order targeting Russian oil, natural gas, finance and defense companies. Hidden in the details, was a section that effectively bans AK-47s. As always, the devil is in the details, so read on for the straight scoop.

Idaho Republican Rep. Raul Labrador announced a late-entry bid for Majority Leader but faces a steep climb after Whip Kevin McCarthy has already garnered significant support over the past three days. Eric Cantor’s Tuesday defeat sent a clear message that “Americans are looking for a change in the status quo," Labraodor said in a statement.

The Republican National Committee will formally endorse immigration reform on Monday and outline plans for a $10 million outreach to minority groups — gay voters among them — as part of a multi-step roadmap designed to make the GOP more "welcoming and inclusive" for voters who overwhelmingly supported Democrats in 2012.

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul will give the Tea Party response to President Obama’s State of the Union address next week. The first-term senator will give the response while Florida Sen. What happened with the Rep from Texas that was going to push for impeachment if Obama issued his 19 EOs? Well he issued 23 I'm pretty sure. Did I miss something or was this just another GOP pretend to have guts moment?

I was watching TV and saw a commercial for TurboTax and noticed that they made a more compelling argument for lower taxes than the GOP. They simply state..."You work hard. You deserve to keep as much of your money as possible. Turbotax wants to help you. Every dollar counts". Why can't the GOP articulate its point just as clearly? It's an easy argument. Replace "Turbotax wants to help you" with "Republicans want to help everyone." These guys are so out of touch with most Americans that they no longer know how to communicate in anything other Beltway BS. Maybe the...

Senate Republican leaders, frustrated by losing winnable seats, are preparing to play a more assertive role in primary races, in consultation with the Tea Party and other conservative activists. The strategy reflects a change from the 2012 election in which they took a relatively hands-off approach to party primaries, according to The Wall Street Journal.

A couple of questions: 1) When are Republicans going to stop drinking their own bath water in regards to polling numbers? Twice in a row a significant portion of GOP voters have fell for the "skewed/biased polls" line. Sure there is some gamesmanship in the polls, but to consistently misinterpret them is sad. 2) When are Republicans going to learn they will never win by nominating liberal RINO candidates? Time and time again this happens. People voted against Obama, but almost no one voted for Mitt Romney. Of course what can you expect when you pick a candidate that lost...

It was a rare, warm-and-fuzzy moment in the normally partisan chamber as Boehner and Pelosi shared a hug and Hoyer recalled the first time he met Pelosi (in 1962, in the office of former Sen. Daniel Brewster, D-Md.).

Ready for the greatest political comeback of all time? According to the Newt Gingrich campaign, that’s what they hope to start tomorrow in Delaware by surprising Mitt Romney in tomorrow’s winner-take-all closed primary: The campaign told NBC that Tuesday would be a “big day” and that Gingrich was “just waiting to see” what the outcome of the primary would be. He told a Wilmington audience last week that a win in Delaware would “break up the media narrative” that has formed from Gingrich’s inability to win a state in over six weeks. Can Gingrich make this his “game changer” and...
