“But has loser attached to name”

    Reagan was a loser
    Lincoln was a loser
Many other Conservatives who lost previous elections prior to serving were losers

Just because a person loses a primary, or other election(s), does not label them a loser.

This man is the Speaker of the House not encouraging members of his own party to vote for the nominee!

Until a convention of delegates is held, and the delegates vote, there is no “nominee”. Hillary is not the nominee of the Democrat Socialist Party until after their convention, and Trump is not the republican nominee until after the convention.

Each has won the different versions of delegates selection on the state level, but neither has received the first vote by a delegate for nomination.

That being said, I support Trump as the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party, although anything can happen before the final vote of delegates at the convention.

The delegates are the representatives, selected by the voters to make a choice at the convention. That’s all they are, and can change their minds before the final vote, whether there is one, two, or more delegate votes.

“If there’s a group of farmers, and farmers started attacking random people and started attacking random lots, would the farmers that were innocent not be...?”

Unfortunately the farmers you speak of, all follow the same almanac (Koran), which tells them to destroy and attack all who don’t believe what their almanac states. Some of the farmers ignore the instructions the almanac contains, but still believe the almanac is the truth, and in some cases are ashamed that they do not follow its instructions. They, because they are not in the majority, live peacefully among those they are told to hate in the almanac.

Some of these almanac purists preach and call out the non-almanac followers to repent and become violent. Some of the non-almanac followers hide those who have done violence in the name of the almanac. Some also know the plans and where the purist will strike, but because they really believe the almanac is correct, don’t tell anyone.

Unfortunately those in power demand that everyone ignore what the almanac states in plain language. No one condemns the almanac, because so many believe it is holy. The almanac says you can lie, cheat, steal, murder, and commit crimes against all those who don’t follow the almanac.

Also unfortunately if you are a powerful leader, you can lie and say you are not a follower of the almanac, all the time defending those who follow its instructions.

“Computer Crash Wipes Out Years of Air Force Investigation Records”

This type of headline is awfully fishy. Computer servers have been set up with a RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) for at least 10 years. Information is copied across many hard drives and if one fails, the information still exists, because it is stored at least on two of the RAID hard drives.

If old technology, no one server would have the information on it, with no backup on external tapes or disks.

For the Federal Government to claim that it has lost all data, is questionable in the least.

I can understand a fire destroying paper copies. This claim is just like saying that it will take 75 years to come up with emails that were produced over a four or five year period, on one individual server (Oh, my bad. That is the claim).

Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

The apples don't fall far from the trees. If parents follow a belief system that promotes the destruction of all those who do not submit to their religion's dictates, and the children take the words of their founding document literally, there is no surprise that deaths result.

    When will America wake up?

These young offspring are not being radicalized through the Internet, or following some radical. All they are doing is trying in the most devout way possible, to follow the dictates found in the book they and their parents call the word of their god.

So, as many say, not all muslims are radical. We must pray for those followers who are “moderate muslims” to realize there is no love in Islam. There is no forgiveness in Islam, and that Islam does nothing but call for submission to a belief system that dictates actions that in themselves are sin.

We pray that they will realize that murdering others in their religion's name is sin, and that an all powerful God doesn't need a man to act in his stead. If that god does, then he is not God.

There has been so many accusations by Liberals, Atheist, Pagans, and the Intellectual Elite that Christians are hateful, violent, and persecute those who do not follow their beliefs. The founding document of Christianity calls for us to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, and do unto others as you would have them do to you.

    The article states:

“A few people, as in perhaps 200-300 million Muslims worldwide who are sympathetic to radical Islam? A few people, as in the few responsible for the 28,576 deadly Islamic terror attacks since 9/11, including 60 in the first 7 days of Ramadan, resulting in 472 deaths?”

There are of 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide.

A few people? That's 20 Percent. One in every Five worldwide.

There are only 323 million Americans.

The Socialist Left, the ACLU, and the Progressives have spent years demagoguing Christians, and claiming our civilization is violent, and hateful, because we follow a Just and Merciful God who demands we cease sinning, and defines sin in his Word.

We as Christians are to love and realize that those doing the shouting are lost. We don't attack. We pray. They view this as weakness.

They have perverted our culture to the point that evil is held up as good and good is shouted down as evil. Our nation is awash with perversion. All this in an attempt to destroy our American Republic, and the Christian foundation upon which it was founded.

The Left views Islam as an ally, and believe just as the socialist in Iran, that once the government falls, the Left will rule. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Unfortunately, when you ally yourself with evil, evil will rule.

There is no forgiveness in Islam. There is no such thing as viewing God as our Heavenly Father. Islam is nothing but submission to force. Islam weighs an individual’s sin and tells it followers that only if they have one more good act than evil, will they enter Paradise. Most know that sin in their life outweighs the good.

Of course a shortcut is available through Jihad. The highest act is the evil act of murder, but if done for allah, will give them a free pass to Paradise.

The Presidential Oath of Office is as follows:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Sharia Law is in direct conflict with the Constitution of the United States.

The current President in coddling and refusing to recognize Radical Islam as an enemy of our Constitution is in violation of his oath of office.

When a person wishes to become a citizen he or she says the following oath to become naturalized:

“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;”

Anyone who has been naturalized and yet follows Shariah Law has broken their oath of naturalization and should be ejected from the country. They are in violation of their oath. Anyone who takes up arms against the US is a traitor.

The socialist and Liberals called themselves Hippies in the late 60’s. Their first violent outbreak occurred when they rioted at the Democrat Convention in 1968. The massive presidential loss that year brought the realization that they had to blend in and not be so overt, if they wanted power.

Those of us who studied Communism in high school remember an old textbook called “The Masks of Communism”. The book revealed that in Communist belief there is a “Thesis” (violent push to establish Socialist rule), an “Anti-Thesis “ (the hit back, by those who don’t want that change), and a “Synthesis” (what comes out as a combination of the two). They believe continually hitting the wall will eventually result in the establishment of Communism. They have been playing this game with the American electorate for many years. Each time they are rejected, they rename themselves, Socialists first (not Communist, or National Socialist), Liberals second, and now Progressives (keeping the same goals) and hitting again.

They moved into places of power under Jimmy Carter, who, like his fellow travelers, ran under a false flag of Christianity, to attract the conservative Christian vote.
If you look at where Carter’s “Christian Beliefs” are now, you find another version of Liberation Theology, veiled in the guise of a “Moderate Baptist”. Their belief is that Bible contains the Word of God (open to them discarding what they disagree with), rather than the Bible, being the Word of God.

So many churches have followed this path. Oh how our churches have fallen into error.

When Reagan ran, they were faced with a man who had seen the face of socialism in the Democrat Party, and rejected it. The Liberals hit a wall.

They first used the same playbook of working to get who they wanted as the Republican nominee. It didn’t work with Reagan. They then used the press and media in an attempt to destroy him. It didn’t work. He took his message directly to the American public, and appealed to their patriotism and good natures to reject those who would make America weak. He named Socialism for what it actually is, the enslavement of the people to an Intellectual Elite, which dictates what rights governed have or do not have.

The radicals molded the old Democrat Party. They started name calling, and charging Republican with the flaws they themselves were guilty of in the process. If they were doing something illegal, they screamed loudly that the Republicans were guilty, all the time continuing their activity. They labeled Republicans racists, all the while hiding their own party members who were the true racists (example Senator Byrd), and molding and changing history to fit their dialogue. The media and the press covered for them at all turns. It became known as “Spin”.

They developed a plan to not unite Americans, but divide them into warring camps to be pitted against each other. Divide and Conquer is their game.

Their ultimate goal is to destroy our Republic, with its equal treatment under the law, justice, and freedom.
The following is a quote from an article by Alan Sears:
Roger Baldwin and Crystal Eastman founded the ACLU in 1920 along with three other organizations dedicated to the most leftist of causes. The histories of these two individuals belie their claims of patriotism and respect for the Constitution.

Baldwin openly sought the utter destruction of American society. Fifteen years after the founding of the ACLU, Baldwin wrote:

I am for Socialism, disarmament and ultimately, for the abolishing of the State itself … I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.

The ACLU worked to undermine the foundations of our American Republic, and liberal politicians worked to place their gatekeeper into positions of power.

Eventually in 1974 we got the first taste of unequal treatment under the law when the anti-discrimination laws came into being. No longer were you to treat each citizen equally, you now had to step aside and give those who felt discriminated a place at the head of the line.

There was no such thing as Christian forgiveness for past wrongs and equal treatment. There was no such thing as living up to the ideals expressed in our Constitution. Guilt had to be established, and the descendents of those who were treated wrongly had to be compensated for their ancestor’s plight.

Slavery existed in the US for approximately 85 years. That’s all, just 85 years. Our nation, because of its Christian heritage and beliefs, struggled with the contrast between our Republic’s ideals and the practice of slavery.

This quickly led to 620,000 men losing their lives in a war to put an end to slavery, and live up to the ideals placed in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

Unfortunately this same war moved more and more power to the Federal level. Most American have ancestors who were on both sides of the conflict, Black and White.

We inherited the practice of slavery from the Portuguese, the Spanish, and the British. Slave trade was banned by US law in January, 1808, just 20 years after our Constitution was ratified. The British did the same in March of the same year. Not until 1818, ten years later did France and Spin outlaw slave trading.

There is a long list of nations who have outlawed slavery since 1865. The last was Mauritania in 2007.

Slavery existed thousands of years before the United States came into being. In fact millions were, and are still in slavery throughout the world. Kings, dictator, and Sultans ruled the world when the US was established. There was no such thing as a government of the people, by the people, and for the people anywhere else on the earth.
Truly if you look elsewhere, there still isn’t. Under all other forms of government, people are given their right by the government, and the government controls those rights.

For some reason (read Socialist propaganda) we have become known as the most racist nation on the earth. The same nation that called for freedom, equality, and equal treatment under the law.

That is exactly what the Democrat Party (the Socialists, Liberals, Progressives, or whatever they want to be call themselves this week) wish upon us.

Again, our Republic has been taken over by those who split us apart and demand special treatment, not equal treatment under the law. Their goal is not to make amends. Their goal is to destroy our Republic.

In the past Socialist realized they had to disguise their true nature, dress differently, call themselves something else (Yuppies). This really didn’t disguise their socialist agenda.

The Socialist in the Democrat Party started calling themselves Liberals, and once their Socialist mask slipped, started calling themselves Progressives.

Of course now they want the American people to think there is a difference between the Progressive and Socialist wings of the Democrat Party. Conservatives have been driven out. They now feel safe since they have rewritten the textbooks, and redefined our past.

The chaos and economic conditions within our nation remind me of the condition within the Weimar Republic, just before the National Socialist took power. The Nazis were Socialist, Liberal, Progressives, All Power to the Government Leftist.

I fear that in a effort to keep safe, our people will give up their rights to be free. The Liberal, Progressives, demand a strong all powerful government. They smear those who oppose them by calling them Nazis. They demand we give up our nation to the Globalist Ideal of Socialism.

A nation without borders they demand. They demand that government abandon its first responsibility, which is to protect its citizens, and its citizen’s rights. This is nothing more than an to destroy our Constitutional Republic. They yell “Democracy”, all the while demanding an all powerful central government, which our Founding Fathers were fleeing from when they establish our nation.

Look behind the curtain, you’ll probably find a Socialist there creating havoc, dissention, and discord.

Bible prophecy concerns itself with Israel (all twelve tribes), and Israel's future history. The prophets spoke to Israel, not the world in general, although their are specific prophecies addressed to the countries in the Middle East, Egypt, Edom, Persia, etc. But, these are related to how these countries treated Israel during God's punishment of Israel, before, during the diaspora.

Although there is a very large contingency that proclaims that the Church is Israel, and tie prophecy to the Body of Christ. Biblical prophecy is addressed to the nation of Israel and its descendants. It is proclaiming the circumstances concerning Israel.

Yes, the United States in not specifically named in Bible prophecy, although their are theologians, who say that northern Europe and the US are mainly populated by the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh (two of the lost tribes of Israel).

We do know that prophecy states that the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Ephraim will be united near the end times. Who Ephraim is, is a mystery. We do know that this union will fight invaders and become victorious. Following the Day of the Lord, those in the world population, identified as belonging to Israel, will be transported by the survivors to Zion.

In the past I always wondered how the US would have no part of end times prophecy. I believed that the US would somehow be taken out of the picture in the later day. This could be because of an economic collapse, political and social collapse. Of course this seemed to be impossible, until our current President came on the scene, and immorality swept through the mainline Christian denominations.

Satan is the father of liars. He always accuses those he is against of doing evil, all the time. After all he is the accuser.

Satan wants to destroy Israel. In Revelations it is stated that failing this, he turns his combined forces against Christians, who follow God's Word. After all has not the Muslim world declared that the US is the Big Satan and Israel is the Little Satan.

So Satan accuses those who stand for truth to be liars. He perverts what God has specifically stated in his Word by moving his followers into places of authority. This has become a powerful tool in denominations, where men look to other men in authority to tell them what God wants and means in his Word, rather than look read it for themselves. Men will always fail, but God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Satan's goal is clear. If Israel is destroyed, Satan declares God a liar, for God has proclaimed that Israel will be restored and all the earth will delight in Messiah's ruling from Jerusalem.

Maybe we are the people of the “Islands” spoken of in scripture. Maybe we are the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh. We don't know, but one thing we can be sure of is, that on the Day of the Lord, those who rail against Israel and its reestablishment, will fall.

As it is written in Isaiah 66 (Quote from NIV):

17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.

18 “And I, because of what they have planned and done, am about to come[a] and gather the people of all nations and languages, and they will come and see my glory.

19 “I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who survive to the nations—to Tarshish, to the Libyans[b] and Lydians (famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations. 20 And they will bring all your people, from all the nations, to my holy mountain in Jerusalem as an offering to the Lord—on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels,” says the Lord. “They will bring them, as the Israelites bring their grain offerings, to the temple of the Lord in ceremonially clean vessels. 21 And I will select some of them also to be priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

22 “As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure. 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. 24 “And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”

Until after the Republican National Convention, there is no nominee. All those who pledged to support the eventual nominee, at that time will support the Republican Nominee.

Between now and then we have no nominee, no matter how anyone has voted. A scandal, a sickness, economic circumstances, any number of things can happen. The nominee comes out of the convention. The nominee is elected by the convention, and the convention only.

That being said, I believe Trump will be our nominee. I cannot say the same for the Democrat convention selecting Hillary. There may be a revolt, and Biden, Warren, or someone like Gore ends up being the nominee. The environmentalist wackos would really love to see Gore as the nominee.

Of course the next time that person passed by a Chip Reader, the police could be notified of the guilty party’s location.

Years ago in a small rural school, where I worked, a 15 minutes break was held each morning, so that kids could get milk and a snack. Free and Reduced Lunch students received the milk and snacks for free.

One of the Free/Reduced students announced to their friend that the food was free, and took the other child with them to get the free grub. The child was turned away, and you can imagine the paying parents’ anger when their child had to pay, while their child’s friend received the snacks free.

The teachers and administrators were warned never to tell the paying parents why the other parents’ children received the snacks free. It took angry parents and a district school board meeting, before the truth was revealed.

Eventually we had parents requesting their children be tested and labeled learning disabled, so they could receive Aid for Dependent Children, and other benefits.

Now, because of the economy brought about by Obama, entire schools are labeled Title I and a large majority of students receive free breakfast and free lunch.

The one thing I have never been able to figure out is why we still give parents the same amount of funds for Food Stamps on their EBT cards, despite the schools feeding their children twice a day. The schools even feed them during the summer. There are examples of EBT cards being used for almost anything, except food.

The smart kids (until discovered), sold their free lunch each day at a reduced rate to a student who was not eligible for a free or reduced lunch. The students in some cases had brought their lunch from home, sold the free lunch, and bought what they wanted after school, with their profit. Obviously capitalism is not dead.

These men are INSTEAD hell bent on destroying the ONLY chance a republican has in this election to beat Hildabeast.

Do we nominate an individual, who in the past, has contributed to liberal causes, and in some cases currently takes liberal stands on issues, just because he is at the front of a ground swirl that wants to destroy anything named Republican on the national level? Do we nominate a candidate who promises great plans and wonderful things (Hope and Change in a new guise).

Win at any cost, huh. Go with the ground swell and vote for the one with the loudest voice, and biggest media exposure. Is that what we want?

Or do we nominate a conservative Republican, who has been subjected to demagoguery, by those who want the other candidate? Do we nominate a candidate who has stood strong for conservative causes, but now is labeled as somehow GOPe, yet is also at the same time considered an outsider? Do we believe the charges brought up by non-conservatives, Dems, libertarians, Media and others? How do we nominate someone who has no standing in the eyes of the American voters, because of the smears?

This is exactly why we have conventions. Once the dust settles, the convention gives delegates the chance ponder and evaluate candidates.

Yes, delegates do the voting, all we do in the primaries is select the number of delegates, for the first ballot. If there is a plurality, the process goes to a second ballot, or third, until a nominee is selected.

I’m realizing more and more the wisdom of letting the delegates decide the nominee at the convention, as the primary election season progresses.

More and more has been revealed about the stands on issues and the character of each of the candidates. There is probably a lot of voter remorse.

As the candidates revel more and more about their true stands on the issues, those delegates are having second thoughts, and deciding how they will vote if the process proceeds beyond the first ballot.

The debates did not reveal anything concerning conservative stands by candidate, because of the blustering and name calling. When issues were raised, the media made sure that the Republican candidates looked dirty.

Maybe somehow truth will win out and the propaganda war will not have achieved its purpose of causing votes to opt out or vote Dem.

In the 1976 Republican convention, it was the unbound delegates moving toward President Gerald Ford instead of Ronald Reagan that handed Ford the nomination that year. Ford held a slight lead going into the convention, but was shy of an outright majority.

That's how conventions work. Of course trump has announced that he will have 1400 delegates, so why scream so loudly for Cruz to drop out.

Trump wants every Republican voter to anoint him as the nominee, before the vote at the convention even happens. This would place him with a plurality of delegates as the nominee. That would be wrong. That would be a violation of every rule.

Trump keeps screaming about the rules being violated, but he is calling for just that, a gross violation of the process.

Even the Democrat convention delegates can pick someone other than Hillary or Sanders.

I have a feeling that with the negatives generated in our process, and the Dem process, that the Dem nominee will be Biden, Warren, Gore, Kerry, anyone but Hillary or Sanders.

Once that is done, American voters will vote for who they consider to be the least offense, and we will be faced with a socialist President, again. I will vote for Trump if he is our nominee, but I fear that the scenario above will happen.

Remember, the candidates suspend their candidacy, they don't drop out. They still possess the delegates pledged to them, until they are freed from their commitment.

What happens if Kasich is still in the race and Trump still doesn't have the 1237, will he sue?

I'd prefer all candidates run to the end, including the others, who have suspended their candidacy. One of them was my first choice, but was not a candidate, when I got to vote.

I'll vote for Trump, if he is the nominee with a majority of delegate votes at the convention. The problem you have is trying to get someone with a plurality to be your nominee, before the vote of delegates even happens.

Or it could be Trump, discovering the rules in place for over a year, that now confound him, over and over again.

Unfair, Illegal, Wrong, but they are the rules. A nominee must have a majority of all delegates at the convention. Remember that the candidates suspended their campaigns, they did not “drop out”. Delegates pledged to these suspended campaigns, can vote their conscience.

When it's all over, and Trump and Hillary are the candidates, the voters will be faced with two choices. I'm afraid that the choices will be somewhat similar.

As we get further and further into the process, we see our presumptive nominee revealing more and more of his liberal views on issues, and the further we get from choosing a nominee who is conservative.

This seems to be the same process that happened with Obama when he first ran. Things were ignored by the media, issues were glossed over, his communist and muslim leanings disappeared from sight. There was a ground swell to elected the first Black President, no matter what. Calls of racism were used against any who questioned the anointed one.

Now we are face with another ground swell to elect anyone that can draw enough attention to himself, and gloss over issues, and specifics. Anything and anyone to win, seems to be the call. Name calling seems to be the game, just like any bully in the school yard.

Conservatives, who just a year ago were great, are now perceived as evil. Religious views are held up to contempt, and social issues are shoved to the side, so the the presumptive nominee can sweep into the nomination with a plurality of support.

Intimidation, name calling, demagoguery, all seem to be fair game. I'll vote for the Republican nominee, but I fear that if this kind of process continues during the General Election, we will lose.

I also feel that neither Hillary or Bernie will be the Democrat nominee. Biden, Warren, or even Gore, will appear as the Democrat white knight, once Hillary is indicted, and the Dems are faced with fielding a communist nominee.

No one wants a nominee who has won the convention by a plurality. If a nominee is selected automatically with a plurality of delegates, there would be no reason for a convention, other than to crown the winner. Delegates, who are not tied to the plurality nominee, will view their vote as useless.

There are a lot of people out there who couldn't vote for their choice, when the time came in their state, because their nominee dropped out. They voted for their second choice. Now you would be telling them that even their second choice has no chance against the plurality nominee.

With this going on, people tend to drop out of the process.

Most delegates pay their own way to the convention. They are tied to a nominee for the first ballot, by the process in their state. After that they should be able to vote their conscience.

Remember when Perot ran, and Bill Clinton was voted into office with a plurality, but declared he had a mandate for his policies. Remember Obama declaring himself King and Dictator, despite voters by Congressional district, and then in the Senate, saying stop Obama.

Plurality elections, whether at the convention or in the General Election are sickening.

How about Cruz and Trump in a run off if the Trumpster does not get the 1237 delegates.

That's exactly what happens in a contested convention. If all delegate's votes are tied to how the vote went in each state, no one would ever get a majority. They would continue to vote for the same person each time, no matter how many ballots.

In a contested election, after the first vote, if no one has 1237 delegates, delegates are free to vote their conscience. This is what the people who are complaining are upset about. The process has been in place for a long time, since there used to be many different candidates names raised at the convention.

The process at the state level was put into place to limit the number of candidates presented to the delegates at the convention.

All the shouting and carrying on that is going on now, is to intimidate delegate to vote for the person who has the most delegates going into the convention. That is not how the process works.

The delegates themselves have their own preference, but will vote how they were pledged during the first vote. Generally they will vote their own preference on the second ballot. If their is still a plurality, then they are supposed to vote what is good for the party and nation. Eventually a nominee is selected.

How the delegates that have been assigned to the people who have dropped out(suspended their campaigns), like Rubio, Carson, etc.,is the interesting twist in the process. I don't believe any candidate can pledge their delegates to a particular candidate who did not drop out.

All the shouting about stealing delegates is a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing, other than to allow someone to continually scream that the process is broken, and call other nominees names.

The simplest statement about the entire process is that the delegates, sent by each state, decide who the nominee will be. The delegates are selected in many different ways, each state party decides how the process is done in their state, since the delegates represent the state level Republican Party.

It wasn’t Cruz who backed out of the last debate.

All prior debates were full of name calling and posturing. Cruz stayed out of the name calling, but would question Trump’s past stands on issues. Instead Trump would reply with Lying Ted, and generalized statements that he is going to make America great again, and you’re gonna like it.

When we got down to two major candidates, Trump bailed.

Trump throws out statements that if make by any other candidate would destroy that person’s campaign. Instead we constantly see his statement ignored.

When all is said and done. the candidate with one more delegate than half will be the nominee, once all the voting is done.

No one should be allowed to change any rules in order to allow someone who does not have a majority of delegate votes to be our nominee.

To demand that the person with the most delegates be the nominee, despite more than half of the delegates voting for another candidate is political suicide. Unfortunately that is the argument coming from some sources, who would like to “change the rules.”

Bill Clinton won the Presidency in 1992 with a plurality of the popular vote (43%). In the next election cycle a lot of those who voted for Ross Perot stayed home, and again Clinton won with a plurality of the popular vote.

Hitler got no more than 36% of the vote in Germany in 1932, but because of turmoil and dissent, eventually came to power.

If we do not unite behind one candidate (the one with a majority of delegate votes), will we be faced with a Socialist coming to power with a plurality, and then, like Clinton and Obama, that person declaring their election as a mandate from the people to overthrow our Constitution and change our Republic?

How much of this mud slinging is from those who are not really conservative, but who in there heart want to destroy this forum?

We are now faced with an upcoming convention that may or may not be a contested convention. Some act like this has never happened in the past.

I get the feeling that there are those who post, who would really like to destroy the Republican Party. They don't care if this happens. They only care about punishing elected conservatives for not succeeding under the present makeup of Congress. They feel that all should be punished. But they are aiming at the conservatives. They accuse conservatives of being GOPe. While this is happening, the socialist are going about their business as usual, and trying to be the biggest Santa Clause in the room. No one steals delegates. They vote their convictions.

The primary season is not an election. That's why we have such a hodge podge of state level processes to select a nominee. Open primaries, closed primaries, caucuses etc. If a state level Republican or Democrat party decided to flip a coin, it would be their rules (I believe this actually happened in the Democrat primary.

So, what happens with all the delegates that went to Carson and the others? No one can tell them they have to vote for Trump or Cruz. I don't even think Carson or the others have the authority to give their delegates to another person. They may be bound to vote for the original candidate, but after the first ballot, its up for grabs.

If you look up the word hand as used in Hebrew and Greek and in the Bible you will find the following:

“The Hebrew words are used in a large variety of idiomatic expressions, part of which have passed into the Greek (through the Sepuagint) and into modern European languages (through the translations of the Bible; see Oxford Hebrew Lexicon, under the word “yadh”). We group what has to be said about the word under the following heads:

    1. The Human Hand:

    Various Uses:

The human hand (considered physically) and, anthropopathically, the hand of God (Genesis 3:22; Psalms 145:16):

The hand included the wrist, as Will be seen from all passages in which bracelets are mentioned as ornaments of the hand, e.g. Genesis 24:22,30,47; Ezekiel 16:11; 23:42, or where the Bible speaks of fetters on the hands (Judges 15:14, etc.).”

The point being raise in the article, and not clearly stated, is that if the two pieces of cloth covered the same person, the shroud is older than demonstrated by the carbon dating process, done not long ago on the shroud.

It is believed that the test was done on a patched area on the edge of the shroud. The person doing the patching inter-weaved new material into the burnt shroud, after it was damaged by fire.

The important point is that the chain of possession of the face cloth is much older, and can be dated long before the time noted through the shroud's recent carbon dating.

Back prior to 1974 I read accounts of the discovery of the remains of a crucified man that demonstrate that nails were driven through the wrists of the individual crucified. The shroud's occupant also had nails driven through his wrist.

This being said, I have always been skeptical of stigmata signs in the palms of the hands. Romans would not have changed their method of crucifixion over time. Ropes would have allowed the individual to pull upward and take part of the weight off the feet. The Romans wanted the cruelest method possible, and the most painful.
