500 bucks plus a debit card for food, subsidized housing, earned income tax credit (so they don’t pay taxes, instead get money from the feds), what’s not to like — and with open borders they could have a permanent majority.

Time to ask, who is John Galt?

  • Judicial Watch Statement on Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh

AFA [updated] Statement on Kavanaugh nomination to SCOTUS:

AFA has opposed the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S Supreme Court for some very valid reasons. We are deeply concerned about how he might ultimately rule on issues related to abortion and religious liberty. For these reasons, we consider this nomination to represent a four-star appointm when it could have been five-star.

However, after hearing the concerns of some of our supporters, and after hearing the passionate defense of Judge Kavanaugh by many we consider to be friends in the pro-life movement, we are willing to let this process play out. We eagerly await the confirmation hearings when we hope to get clarification from Judge Kavanaugh on aspects related to our concerns.

At this time, we have no plans to fight President Trump on this nomination. He has appointed a lot of good federal judges already and we look forward to many more. We hope that our concerns prove to be unfounded.

    American Family Association:

President Donald Trump announced the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill the vacancy of Justice Anthony Kennedy on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Judge Kavanaugh is simply the wrong nominee-even a bad nominee. Based on his written opinions, Judge Kavanaugh has demonstrated a deficiency in a constitutional judicial philosophy of a limited judiciary. Some of his decisions may have been favorable, but several of his opinions about those decisions contain problematic language.

Urge your senators to oppose the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Although Judge Kavanaugh decided correctly in court case Priests for Life v. U.S. Dep't of Health & Human Services, he wrote a moderate opinion disagreeing with the Priests on a foundational constitutional religious liberty principle.

As a result of Obamacare, the faith-based organization Priests for Life and others argued that the government could not compel or force them to provide contraception and abortion causing drugs for their employees. Judge Kavanaugh unnecessarily conceded in his opinion that the government has a compelling interest to force religious organizations to provide contraceptives and abortifacients for employees. Kavanaugh's concession created a dangerous precedent.

There are also concerns with his opinion related to illegal alien female minors who are expecting but also seeking an abortion in the United States. Other concerns relate to his writings on Obamacare. It’s been argued that Judge Kavanaugh provided the roadmap to uphold the Obama Administration’s healthcare overreach at the Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh is said to provide the legal argument for Chief Justice to save Obamacare by calling the mandatory insurance a tax.

Judge Kavanaugh's reasoning on religious liberty, Obamacare and issues concerning life have proven to be of major concern. For these reasons and more, urge your senators to firmly oppose the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh as a Justice on the United States Supreme Court.

The injuns of that period were most definitely “savages”. That description is historically accurate and isn’t a reflection on present-day ancestors,

Talk about a kangaroo court — this is what happens when you have no bill of rights, and get your rights from the whims of royalty, instead of having them rightly acknowledged as coming from G-d.

If he gets out alive (an outcome in doubt) I want Tommy to come to the USA where he can speak freely, and get our help leading the fight against the UK muzzle rapist child molesters, and their sympathizers in the UK government.

Thank you — life is much better for me now as a civilian, but I often think of the soldiers and airmen still serving along the DMZ. Regarding the danger — we always said that our bases near Seoul are mere “speed bumps” for the North if they ever decided to invade — and that’s only if there were anything left after they unleashed their 10,000 artillery pieces on the South. I spent a lot of time in an underground command bunker near the DMZ — a bunker that was so secure it wasn’t enough to have a security badge, you had to have a sponsor escort to get in and go to your destination within. Anyway we all fatalistically surmised the bunker would be gone within hours of the start of any conflict.

Until now the situation along the border has not changed since about 1953! Trump has my eternal gratitude.

HA! Yes the “regime” characterization will absolutely drive the MSM crazy — Rush uses the same term but acknowledges the left is severely offended by the phrase “Obama regime”.

This is a profound moment in history — I am so grateful for Trump. I spent many weeks of my life deployed to S. Korea very close to the DMZ, and I know the history — my dad was recalled to service twice after WWII because of the Korean conflict. This is huge, HUGE beyond expectations. It will have a PROFOUND effect for many millions of people, in both the (soon to be former) hermit kingdom and the rest of the world.

All because of TRUMP. This never would have happened under an establishment thinker like Bush 41 or 43, let alone a Democrat like Clinton or especially the traitor Obama.

I remember a while back (80’s?) a B-1 was on a low-level with, with an instructor standing up in the cockpit, using an interphone cord for comm — they took some birds and the hydraulics were badly damaged from the impact. They were able to zoom the airplane and eject —- but the instructor rode it in since he had no ejection seat. After that uproar nobody rode along without being strapped in (an ejection seat).

Imagine how his family felt about that.

I don’t think the recent ruling protects this type of discrimination. The baker didn’t refuse to serve the gay couple. If they had not ordered a gay-themed cake requiring his artistic talents to portray and celebrate their objectionable perverted relationship, they would have had no problem. They could have ordered any number of cakes without the gay theme from the baker, without objection.

In this case the business owner is refusing to serve anyone who is gay (and you can’t always tell). Not the same thing.

From the radar/path pictures it looks like they may have flown under an anvil, with hail blowoff from the tops of a strong cell. You don’t have to fly into the cell to get damage if you’re downwind from a strong cell — the hail goes out the top and downwind, sometimes for many miles, in the dozens of miles, perhaps.

They couldn’t choose an upwind path around them but looks like they took the wrong hole through the line — should have taken the one further south.

Once they lost the radar the danger may have been even worse, they were flying blind unless they emerged from the clouds and could see the weather.

There are at least three documented cases of jetliners breaking up flying through storms, this could have been much worse, as they avoided the strongest areas of the cells.

No pics of the leading edges but I imagine that’s going to employ the sheet metal shop for weeks, or more!
