What do you all think about the Umberti recreation of the Schofield .45? For whatever reason, I love this gun, probably from watching too many westerns. This is not particularly a self-defense gun, although I suppose the .45LC would not be pleasant to be shot with. I just think it's cool and want to hang it in a holster in my cabin the the moutains to counter-act the crap my wife is hanging up, and occassionaly go cowboy shoot with it.

This video was first posted in August of 2008. To those who have not seen it, you will immedidately wonder "How could he have survived this?" I post it today to remind everyone the lengths that the media will go to in order to protect Obama/Biden. Biden is clearly drunk in this video. No matter what happens during the debate with Paul Ryan, the media will either tell us it was a "draw" or that Biden actually did well. Count on it.

The Common Pleas Court in McKean County, Pa., has released a letter that Dottie Sandusky wrote to Judge John Cleland after her husband, former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, was convicted on 45 counts of child sex abuse and before he was sentenced to 30 to 60 years for those crimes. Dottie Sandusky attended the sentencing Tuesday for her husband, who was defensive coordinator and for many years the presumed heir-apparent to legendary Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. The case shook the university, resulting in the firing of Paterno and the departure of the president and other...

In hopes of reducing the impact of Obamacare, Olive Garden and Red Lobster are reducing hours and studying the impact. Right now, this is just a small test, involving only four stores markets. However, if large chains are testing in that direction, no doubt other companies are doing the same. I also suspect smaller chains have already shifted to that model completely. Please consider Prepping for Obamacare, Chain Cuts Workers' Hours. The owner of Olive Garden and Red Lobster restaurants is putting more workers on part-time status in a test aimed at limiting the impact of looming health coverage requirements....

"Just when Iran most needs hydrocarbon revenues, its oil output will decline sharply. Natural gas exports can offset the decline to some extent, but not entirely. Iran's only chance of survival lies in annexing oil-rich regions on its borders: Bahrain, Iraq's Basra province, parts of Azerbaijan, and ultimately Saudi Arabia's Shi'ite-majority Eastern Province. THIS IS WHY IRAN needs NUCLEAR WEAPONS..."

Spanish man home from prison finds his wife mummified in bed Eduardo Ruiz grew concerned when he stopped hearing from his wife, Ángeles Fernández. But authorities refused to allow anyone to enter the home, despite complaints of an unpleasant smell in the area — until he managed a conditional release and broke in himself. A man in Spain came home from prison last week to find his wife mummified on her bed. Eduardo Ruiz, from the town of Ciempozuelos just outside Madrid, had not heard from his wife for a year when he complained to police in 2011. At the...

Cook, a 1954 University of Pittsburgh grad, began his career as a sports publicist for the school from 1956-66. He later worked with a number of organizations, including the Pittsburgh Civic Arena. Beano Cook's breadth of knowledge of the history of the college game earned him the moniker, the "Cardinal of College Football." Cook was a studio commentator for ABC from 1982-85 before joining ESPN. He also worked as ABC's press director from 1966-74, and for...

The BBC reported that two-year-old Sonny Rees was taken to a hospital emergency room after drinking whisky at his second birthday party at a Frankie and Benny's restaurant in Swansea. His mother, Nina Rees, said he was clearly intoxicated. She said she tasted his drink, which was supposed to be lime juice and water, after noticing that he was making a funny face. SIDNEY, Ohio -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney received a warm reception on a cold evening at the Shelby County Fairgrounds Wednesday as he addressed a crowd estimated at more than 8,500 people, more than eight times the number expected to turn out. Josh Romney, one of five sons, introduced his father, describing the former governor of Massachusetts as "my hero and the next president of the United States." As the elder Romney took the stage, the sea of people rose into a breaking wave of cell phones and cameras to capture the momentous event, chanting "four more weeks, four...

As it turns out a humanitarian fundraising that turned out to be a Kenyan scam used to funnel monies to recruit Wahhabist extremists was finally just exposed by Arab researchers Walid and Theodore Shoebat. But what’s even worse, it was the Obama family in Kenya who were running it. Obama’s first cousin Musa Obama spills the beans in this explosive video on Al-Jazeera regarding president Obama’s grandmother’s humanitarian fund Mama Sarah Obama Children Foundation, intended for orphans and HIV infected children to only find out that the fundraising empire is an Islamist Kenyan scam. Paul Brown was working on his computer in his north suburban home when police smashed in the front door, pointed guns at and handcuffed him and other family members, and ransacked the house in a search for drugs. The authorities had burst in immediately after a postal worker delivered a package to the home that they said contained marijuana. But a search of the house found no further contraband, and officers left without making an arrest. Brown, outraged, said he was sure the cops had the wrong house. Police maintained they had the right place, but the target of their...

The cargo volume here is three times the level it was two years ago, before Fu Cheng Qiu was put in charge by his employer, Cosco, a global shipping giant owned by the Chinese government. In a 2010 deal that put 500 million euros ($647 million) into the coffers of Greece’s cash-starved government, Cosco leased half of the port of Piraeus and quickly converted a business that had languished as a Greek state-run enterprise into a hotbed of productivity. The other half of the port is still run by Greece. And the fact that its business lags behind Cosco’s is...

The Huffington Post, ever eager to curry favor with anti-American pundits and racists posing as free-thinkers, has published a screed by Marc Lamont Hill, who is a black professor at Georgetown University, titled “The 15 Most Overrated White People.” Keep in mind that this is a man who not only praised convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal, but published Jamal’s writings, and also was accused of supporting Fidel Castro and Khalid Muhammed. So who are some of the people on Hill’s list? Christopher Columbus, described as “an immoral treasure hunter” and a “vicious conquistador.” Elvis Presley: a “cheap facsimile of Little...
