This is the season of politics and I follow things closely. You probably know what I mean. I am reading Drudge and FR constantly. I know the times when Rasmussen and Gallup polls come out and I press refresh for the results. But I make a point of doing regular things and living life. This post is about what to do to keep things regular and normal. So what are you doing tomorrow to keep things normal? In the morning, i am going to do a little reloading and then I am going shooting with my daughter, her friend and...

With apologies to the genius of Bob Dylan, I offer an Obama parody of the last verse of one of Dylan's catchiest tunes - Black Diamond Bay: I was chilling in the West Wing when Mama Crowley came on CNN With sub-optimal news. Seems that terrorists in Libya led To Stevens and three others dead, But there’s a movie trailer we could use. Didn’t seem like much to worry ‘bout So I turned it off and went and did another line. Seems like every time you turn around There’s another dishonest tale I gotta design. And there’s really nothing anyone...

A Florida student found that the ice at fast food restaurants is actually dirtier than the toilet water at the same establishment. The student, 12-year-old Jasmine Roberts, hypothesized that the ice at fast food joints was probably dirtier than the toilets. So she went to five fast food restaurants and collected samples. She ordered cups of ice and put them in sterile beakers. She also went into bathrooms, flushed the toilet once, and collected a sample. The findings were pretty disturbing.

Is it true that Mitt Romney closed down his firm, Bain Capital, and flew 30 workers to New York to look for the missing daughter of one of his colleagues? The fact-finding groups, and all rate this as true, and media reports of the day confirm much of the details of the viral email.

From An e-mail Navy Seals Respond ... This video made by the U.S. Navy Seals may cost Obama his second term in office. It’s just incredible how effective this video is in convincing Americans that Obama is a very serious national traitor. History will judge him negatively for 1,000 years. Incredibly powerful video! Senior CIA, FBI, Military and many other U.S. government intelligence officials describe for the viewer how Obama has compromised U.S. national secrets and the very serious consequence of those actions. And what’s worse, he did it all for political gain so he could win a second disastrous...

A month or so ago, I happened to mention that I had purchased some antibiotics to stockpile for long term survival purposes. It’s not, you know, that I believe in popping antibiotics every time I get a sniffle. Nothing could be further from the truth. But a recent situation where I had a very bad tooth abscess that had to go untreated for almost a week convinced me that antibiotics for use in a collapse situation were an important part of my preps. Let me say this: I am not a health care professional nor am I especially qualified on...
  • Why won't Republicans politicians call it a lie? (vanity)

Am I missing something, but why when republican politicians are asked it Obama lied about this Libya coverup the say things like he may be misleading, or not straightforward, or words to that effect, but never can call it what it is, a bold face lie. Do they have orders not to use the word "lie". If someone had the nads to use that word, it would likely cause the lefties to explode, but would expose the issue to the world. I don't get it.

So whatever many of you think of Sean Hannity.. he is doing a great job keeping up with the Libya aftermath. Tonight he had on Lindsay Graham and Congressman Jason Chaffetz from Utah. What I learned from watching this has me FUMING!! Hannity showed multiple emails from Amb Stephens to the White House in which Stephens was concerned about the deteriorating security situation. The LAST email Stephens sent the day before said the British have pulled their Amb because of the security situation!! The British left, The RED CROSS packed up and left.. Al-Queda began putting up flags at government...

Explanation: NGC 2623 is really two galaxies that are becoming one. Seen to be in the final stages of a titanic galaxy merger, the pair lies some 300 million light-years distant toward the constellation Cancer. The violent encounter between two galaxies that may have been similar to the Milky Way has produced widespread star formation near a luminous core and along eye-catching tidal tails. Filled with dust, gas, and young blue star clusters, the opposing tidal tails extend well over 50,000 light-years from the merged nucleus. Likely triggered by the merger, accretion by a supermassive black hole drives activity within...

First we find out that we're getting ripped off in the fish department. Now, a new study commissioned by Food Safety News shows that most of the honey on supermarket shelves isn't really honey. More than 60 types of honey from several major supermarkets, drug stores, and shopping clubs--including Stop and Shop, Safeway, Wegman's,A&P, Kroger, CVS, Walgreens, Sam's Club, and Walmart--were tested by Vaughn Bryant, a professor at Texas A&M University. He found that most of them had all of the pollen filtered out. Without any pollen, it's impossible to figure out whether the honey came from a safe source,...

SANFORD – A judge Friday said yes to the very thing Trayvon Martin's family did not want: Defense attorneys rummaging through their son's school records and background, looking for damaging information. Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson cleared the way for George Zimmerman's legal team to begin digging. Defense attorney Mark O'Mara apologized, but said he owed it to his client. "Though it sounds horrible to come before you and say, 'I really want to go after the victim's reputation,' that is simply what the Sixth Amendment tells us we have to do," O'Mara told the judge. Nelson authorized his request...
