Once confident Donald Trump would win the nomination, Republicans are now split between three candidates Last week Ted Cruz notched an unexpected victory in the Iowa Caucuses - and now voters have a very different view of Donald Trump's chances in the Republican primary, according to a new HuffPost/YouGov poll. Importantly, voters are not ready to count Donald Trump out. Two-thirds of likely Republican primary voters describe his second-place finish in Iowa as more of a "temporary setback" than a sign of serious trouble for his campaign. 54% expect Trump to win the New Hampshire primary, where he remains ahead...

This is a fact: from Trump owning of strip clubs to his bragging about sleeping around to his Nietzsche-esque notions of power. Moore believes that a leaders moral behavior will affect his leadership, so he argues that no Christian should support a candidate like Trump. This will not convince all Christians, but at least it’s an argument grounded in the fact of Trumps moral behavior.

We were at 30,000ft on Trump's private jet flying to Every time the commentariat say he has gone too far, he proves he has found a direct link to the dark heart of the American psyche. As Iowa citizens vote tomorrow in the first ballot to determine the Republican candidate for the White House, many are asking: who really is Donald Trump? Today I join some 20 other writers in making the case against Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy. The venerable National Review, founded by William F. Buckley, Jr., assembled a group of diverse critics to argue that Trump is not a conservative, not an advocate of limited government, but rather (as the editorial asserts) “a philosophically unmoored political opportunist who would trash the broad conservative ideological consensus within the GOP in favor of a free-floating populism with strong-man overtones.”

Having been smacked around by Cruz over the so-called 'birther' issue on last week's debate stage, Donald Trump is turning to his Feuding 101 playbook: Personal insults. He previewed his character assault against Cruz last month ("maniac"), quickly calling off the rhetorical dogs when the Texas Senator assiduously adhered to his strategic nonaggression pact. Ted Cruz showed remarkable fighting spirit in the Republican presidential debate last night, lacing Donald Trump with the same kind of brilliant and witty lines that he's used in his fights against Mitch McConnell. When Trump's bogus charges against Cruz's eligibility to be president were raised, Cruz turned the tables on him, remarking that Trump had no problems with his eligibility several months earlier, giving this incredible one liner: Since September, the Constitution hasn't changed, but the poll numbers have.Trump looked very uncomfortable at that. Today, the last day before the new Star Wars movie is seen by millions, and this theory is presumably destroyed, I would like to take the occasion and point out that there is one simple realization that will remove all of the alleged plot holes in Star Wars: Darth Vader is the hero. First, you have to realize that the Jedi are at best ambiguously good. The Galactic Republic is supposed to be, at least on the highest levels, a democracy, but it is more like the United Nations than the early United States: slavery flourishes, monarchies abound, and the...
