According to a SLED document concerning juvenile sex offenders, only those convicted of serious sexual crimes (i.e. first degree criminal sexual conduct) must disclose their offender status. Those convicted of less serious crimes, such as lesser degrees of criminal sexual conduct, do not have to disclose on the public registry.
