Investigators identified the attackers as Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane. Neighbors said they reported Butt to authorities at least twice when he tried to convert their children to radical Islam. A newly-released email and lobbying documents filed with Congress reveals new ties between Clintonworld and members of a network operated by a mysterious Islamic cleric from Turkey. Connections between Clinton and acolytes of the imam, Fethullah Gulen, could muddle the complex relationship between the U.S. and Turkey, a key NATO ally, if the former secretary of state wins the White House. Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has mounted an aggressive crackdown against Gulen and his followers, known as Gulenists. Erdoğan, who was once allied with Gulen, has even personally asked President Obama to extradite the 74-year-old guru, who has lived...

The Clinton family and Hillary Clinton’s campaign are being accused of accepting millions of dollars from what at least one U.S. ally is calling a terrorist network. The U.S.-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen is a longstanding ally of Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and their cozy relationship has included dinners and speaking arrangements throughout the years. He is suspected of controlling $25 billion in global assets and his followers have reportedly poured millions into the Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. But now Gulen has been accused in a U.S. court of being the ringleader...

According to el Djazairi, contemporary Jews are not descendants of apes and pigs. However, he went on to say, some Jews may have been transformed to these animals in the past - but this line has been severed. "Contemporary Jews are of the seed of Adam, not of the apes and pigs,...

The Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) opposes offensive jihad in the West, but for reasons that may surprise you. In an Arabic fatwa (religious decree) that doesnt appear on its English website, it states that the Islamic community does not possess the strength to engage in offensive jihad at this time [emphasis added]. This doesnt mean that all jihad is to be abandoned. With our current capabilities, we are aspiring towards defensive jihad, and to improve our position with regards to jurisprudence at this stage. But there is a different discussion for each situation, it said. It is...

Anwar al-Awlaki, the US-born Islamic cleric killed in a US drone attack in Yemen last year, had been in American custody at least twice but was released, according to a human rights group. Judicial Watch, an accountability watchdog group, said it had learned this through Freedom of Information lawsuits it filed with the US government. It said documents from the US embassy in Yemen indicate Awlaki was held for at least eight months between late 2006 and mid 2007. But the documents do not say how long he was held or why he was he was freed. Back in October...

Belfast, Northern Ireland (CNN) A respected former Catholic bishop in Ireland is calling for an end to clerical celibacy in the wake of the sex abuse scandals that have rocked the church worldwide, and says he finds it "heartbreaking" that some prospective priests turn away from the calling because of the celibacy rule. In his recently published book, "A Troubled See, Memoirs of a Derry Bishop," Dr. Edward Daly said that allowing clergymen to marry would ease many of the church's problems. There needs to be a place in the modern Catholic church for a married priesthood, said Daly,...

I was in Chicago O'Hare today and saw a cleric dressed in a purple monk's robe (it was NOT a scarlet cassock), and he was wearing a bluish jacket, business cut, with a faint purple sheen to it. He also had a gold colored rope that he wore as a belt, and the tasseled ends were almost touching the ground. He didn't look Roman Catholic, or even Episcopalian. Any idea of what he might belong to? PS, I didn't speak with him... Thanks.

A couple weeks ago we showed you the shocking video of an Egyptian Muslim cleric advocating jihad and saying financial problems could be solved by selling captives like groceries. Now, that same cleric is back, and hes supposedly claiming his words were taken out of context. But the way hes defending himself is curious, especially when you consider it involves him justifying buying sex slaves. The website Translating Jihad, which first published the earlier video, explains that in the follow-up video (which consists of a 20-minute phone interview), Egyptian Shaykh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni contends that his words in that clip were...

Evil words in Islamic Republic: A senior Iranian cleric, who is known as President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's spiritual mentor, urged followers to continue suicide attacks against Israelis, including children. Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah, considered one of the Islamic Republic's most radical clerics, issued a religious edict on his website whereby suicide attacks are not only legitimate but are a must for every Muslim. Surely, Islamic apologists in the West will get right on the line to this guy and explain that, no, Aisha was 16, 18, didn't know how old she was, was only "nine" in Galapagos tortoise-years, or whatever other excuse they might cook up. The problem? Islamic texts and traditions say otherwise, and Muslims follow them. Indeed, the heart of the problem is this: Muhammad did it. The example of Muhammad, "a beautiful pattern of conduct" according to Qur'an 33:21, cannot be set aside, or standards he set "updated," lest one imply Muhammad made a mistake. That would not only insult...
