It seems like everywhere you look these days while driving on the road – especially on college campuses – an odd-phrased bumper sticker with religious symbols spelling “COEXIST” can be seen. This phrase contains the spiritual ideologies of the major world religions. Authorities in the southern Iraqi city of Basra have admitted they are powerless to prevent 'honour killings' in the city following a 70 per cent increase in religious murders during the past year. Gunmen have opened fire at a number of sites in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay), killing at least 78 people and injuring about 200 more. Police said shooting was continuing and that the incidents were co-ordinated terrorist attacks. Gunmen had taken hostages at two hotels, they said. You have all doubtless seen the COEXIST bumpersticker on the rear of a car in front of you while driving through Madison or the East Side. Todd McMahon created a parody, substituting two of the symbols in the middle to make a point. Charlie Sykes posted the parody on his blog, and has taken flack from the Left for doing so. In the spirit of the blue bumpersticker, here is my suggestion:

The other day, I was driving through Milwaukee's own hip enclave and I noticed a strikingly high number of the very trendy "Coexist" bumper stickers slapped on the backs of the equally trendy hybrid cars. The stickers must be in vogue because I spotted them everywhere in this part of town.

Are you familiar with that bumper sticker slogan, COEXIST, where each letter is the symbol of a religion? The initial C is the crescent of Islam. I desire an animated gif that starts off as the slogan, then the C transforms into pacman and munches right down the line of religions. Be creative with the finish, maybe a belching pacman, lady pacman in a burka, show us your stuff!
