Under Pelosi’s guidance, the official Democratic Party response to the Trump administration abusing immigrant children is to give more money to the agencies the Trump administration relies on to abuse immigrant children. House Democrats have lost their moral compass. On Thursday morning, a reporter asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) what her party planned to do about writer E. Jean Carroll’s recent rape allegation against President Donald Trump. Pelosi’s response was not a profile in courage. “I haven’t spent any time on that,” she said, raising her arms in frustration. “I don’t know the people you’re referencing, I don’t know...

Stephanie Wilkinson is the owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, VA. That’s the restaurant that refused service to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders last June. Friday, the Washington Post published a piece in which Wilkinson offers her thoughts on the recent spitting incident involving Eric Trump. You’ll be shocked to learn that Wilkinson is for it (or at least willing to defend it) though it takes her a while to admit it. After recounting what happened to Trump, she writes, “no one in the industry condones the physical assault of a patron.” That seems sensible but we’re...

Recently, the U. S. women’s soccer team thumped Thailand 13-0 in the Women’s World Cup. It got ugly, and led to criticism: some felt the American ladies wrongly ran up the score and that their goal celebrations were a bit over the top. Well, whether that criticism is just or unjust, you can’t blame the best left back in U. S. women’s soccer. That’s because Jaelene Hinkle wasn’t on the pitch during the multiple celebrations. In fact, she’s not even on the team. Hinkle’s saga began back in 2015 after the Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex “marriage.” Hinkle posted the...

Actress Ellen Barkin has accused President Donald Trump’s supporters of comprising of the “most extreme right-wingers since the Nazis,” while also claiming that the Republican Party is inflicting severe “financial damage” on them despite the country’s strong economic growth. “If trump’s base, the most extreme right wingers since the Nazis, would just stop and look at the financial damage inflicted on them by the GOP, I believe they’d join the fight.,” Barkin mused on Twitter during last night’s Democratic debates. “The GOP is asking their base a question right now…would you rather hate or eat? What’s the answer?” Barkin is...

California Sen. Kamala Harris got into a testy exchange with former Vice President Joe Biden at the first Democratic presidential debate on Thursday over racial issues. “You know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bussed to school every day and that little girl was me,” Harris told Biden.

A Democratic candidate for Florida’s House reportedly has ended her campaign after being challenged on her detailed and graphic claims she treated victims of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting.

Sen. Kamala Harris’s (D-CA) national spokesperson said on Thursday evening that Harris even supports “busing for school integration right now.” When a national politics reporter at New York Times asked Ian Sams, Harris’s national press secretary, if Harris supported busing to integrate schools today, he replied: “Yes.” Astead Herndon, the Times’ national politics reporter, said on Friday that Harris’s campaign declined to elaborate further when asked about specifics. Harris, in need of a moment to revive her floundering campaign, called out former Vice President Joe Biden during Thursday’s debate for his past opposition to school busing, telling the former vice...

Two U.S. marshals led a former Honolulu prosecutor out of a courtroom Friday when a U.S. judge ordered her detained after a jury found her guilty of conspiracy and he expressed concern that she could try to obstruct justice before being sentenced. Katherine Kealoha left her purse with her defense attorney as the marshals approached to take her into custody after the bail hearing. She "lies as easily as she draws breath" and will do anything to avoid consequences, prosecutors said in court documents seeking her detention. "This defendant is a walking crime-spree," Michael Wheat, a special federal prosecutor, told...

... Ms. Warren is running on her own unique brand of anticorporate populism, one that attacks “a small group that holds far too much power.” ... The central flaw in Ms. Warren’s “populism” is her solution: more government. Mr. Trump’s populism was successful in part because it harnessed a sentiment shared by the vast majority of Americans—distrust of a “powerful” and “corrupt” political system. He positioned himself outside that power structure, and promised to drain the swamp. Ms. Warren’s anticorruption populism sounds good until you hear her fix: Give the feds more power. Many Americans might believe corporations are a...

FULL TITLE: Trump’s rape accuser brags about sexually harassing Roger Ailes: ‘It never stopped. I’d ask him to twirl for me’ It’s a pretty safe assumption that creating strong demand for her pending new book is the goal, and so the evidently crazy E. Jean Carroll is in actuality crazy like a fox. The latest tale she is telling, this time to Vanity Fair, is that she “sexually harassed” Roger Ailes while she had a show on his cable channel America’s Talking. “Oh, I did it. Every day I had a chance,” Carroll said. “I call him the pearl of...

Megan Rapinoe showed no sign of stemming her outspoken ways after scoring the goals that saw USA march one step closer towards the World Cup final. “Go gays!” she said after the 2-1 quarter-final victory over France in Paris and when asked to comment on whether it being Pride month made her contribution more personally significant. “You can’t win a championship without gays on your team - it’s never been done before, ever. That’s science, right there! “I’m motivated by people who like me, who are fighting for the same things. I take more energy from that than from trying...

Former Republican Governor of New Jersey and ABC News contributor Chris Christie appeared on The View Friday to analyze last night’s Democratic debate. However, the liberal hosts were more interested in attacking him for working for the Trump administration. The segment ended in a total meltdown from each of the hosts, ranting and raving over how awful the president is. Friday co-host Ana Navarro began by playing the clip of Trump joking with Vladimir Putin, telling him to not meddle in our elections. Shaking her head, she sneered, “How the hell could you have ever supported and worked with this...

When the owner of a trucking company decided to terminate a driver, the fired man’s fianceé wouldn’t stand for it. She pulled a gun and began shooting at the boss, the boss’ own fiancé and the victim couple’s 1-year-old son. Slidell police reported the retaliatory shooting Saturday (June 22). They said they booked Natalie Williams, 32, of Mandeville, with attempted murder. The confrontation played out Friday afternoon just off Interstate 10 at Travelcenters of America, a truck stop at 1683 Gause Blvd. Police said the trucking company owner found Williams and her fiancé outside of an 18-wheeler in the...

If, for some reason, you thought USWNT star Megan Rapinoe might have changed her mind about visiting the White House if the United States women’s national team wins the Women’s World Cup, then wonder no more. The USWNT co-captain provided another straight answer. “I’m not going to the f---ing White House,” Rapinoe said. “No, I’m not going to the White House. We’re not going to be invited. I doubt it.” Rapinoe had been asked by Eight by Eight magazine if she was looking forward to making the trip, which was met with an audible scoff.

It’s hard to keep count of all the polarizing ways that people describe Megan Rapinoe. The U.S. women’s soccer forward is a star, and she’s a pariah. She’s fun-loving, and she’s annoying. She’s exuberant, and she’s excessive. She’s a necessary voice, and she’s an irreverent troublemaker. She’s delightful, and she’s disgraceful. She’s essential to our World Cup hopes, and when she declines to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” with her teammates, she’s inappropriate for our world-class ego. She’s America, too, by the way. Oh, she’s America. And there is no counter to that.

The University of Washington is conducting an experiment in which pregnant mothers will use the drug cannabis, commonly known as marijuana, to see the effects on infants. The university has received roughly more than $190,000 from the National Institute on Drug Abuse to conduct the study, which recruits women to take marijuana from the first to last trimester of their pregnancy, according to KOMO-TV. As the project information details, 70 total subjects will participate in the study. Half of these women will be taking marijuana at least twice a week to combat morning sickness, while the other 35 will take...

Actress and left-wing activist Rosie O’Donnell made the stunning claim that there are more than 100,000 concentration camps in states across the country, holding unaccompanied minors who illegally enter the U.S. Appearing Monday on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live After Show,” Rosie O’Donnell was asked about the role she’s playing in Lights for Liberty, a rally being held July 12th to demand and end to what host Andy Cohan called “detention camps.” “Yeah, the concentration camps, even though there’s lots of controversy about the word. But actually, legitimate scholars who study genocide say, yes, these are, in fact, the criteria...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is betraying Americans and her constitutional duties by denouncing the police enforcement of Congress’ immigration laws and judges’ deportation decisions, say immigration reformers. “In terms of interior enforce[ment], what is the purpose? What is the point?” Pelosi said June 25, just after her June 22 statement that the President’s promised enforcement of judges’ deportation orders is a “brutal action which will tear families apart and inject terror into our communities.” Pelosi’s comment is shocking, said Andrew Arthur, a former immigration judge who now works with the Center for Immigration Studies. “It undermines the rule of law...
