Whether it’s true or not, if you say the “wrong” thing about Islam, you’re guilty -- even if you’re merely quoting what Muslims themselves say. Consider the recent case of Professor Nicholas Damask, chairman of the Department of Political Science at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona. Last month, after one of his students, Muhammad Sabra, found -- and shared on social media -- quiz questions which Muhammad felt were in “distaste of Islam,” the professor received a plethora of online death threats to himself and his family and criticism from his college. Matters eventually turned around in Damask’s favor; his...

On May 22, an Islamic suicide bomber detonated himself outside a pop concert in Manchester, England, killing and wounding dozens, many of them young children. The terrorist was a 22-year-old named Salman Abedi. A few days after the attack, I was reading an article about the mosque he attended—the Didsbury Mosque. “That’s funny,” I thought looking at the accompanying photo, “that doesn’t look like a mosque, it looks like a church.”Sure enough, as I discovered, the Didsbury Mosque was once the Albert Park Methodist Chapel. It had been bought by the local Syrian Muslim community and transformed into a Muslim...

In the 16th century, Daniele da Volterra was mocked by contemporary artists for agreeing to paint loincloths on Michelangelo’s nudes in the Sistine Chapel. Italian protocol officials must now know how da Volterra felt. Italy’s opposition leaders, commentators and media grew increasingly vocal in their criticism on Wednesday of ancient nude statues being covered by white boxes in Rome’s city hall and museum complex for a visit by Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani. Italian newspapers ran photographs of the boxes on their front pages and even the minister of culture called the decision “incomprehensible.†He suggested a different venue could have...

Reprinted from InvestigativeProject.org. In the aftermath of New Year's Eve's mass rapes of European women by Muslim refugees, the questions have been repeated: Should we have known this kind of thing would happen? Could we have known? And from local bars to parliaments, from family dinners to the nightly news, the answers keep coming back: Yes; we could. Yes, we should. But interestingly, the people who say this with the most conviction are not right-wing Muslim-bashers, or activists opposed to the settling of Syrian refugees in Europe. They are Muslims, and mostly Muslim women. Over and over, these women,...

An utterly shocking video has emerged that was shot inside a German school, which shows "integrated" Muslim migrants making a stunning admission about the "disgusting" Germans that took them in, and it should serve as a warning of what's to come for America. The clip shows a woman speaking to a group of Muslim teens inside of a German high school. In it, she asks if they know what the word "integration" means, which starts a discussion about how they really feel about the German people, and it's not pretty. One of the girls says that "integration" means to "exclude...

Iranians burn US flags outside the former US embassy in Tehran on November 4, 2013, during a demonstration to mark the 34th anniversary of the 1979 US embassy takeover. Thousands of Iranians shouted "Death to America" as they demonstrated 34 years after Islamist students stormed the embassy compound in Tehran, holding 52 American diplomats hostage for 444 days. AFP/Getty Images Former House Intelligence Chairman Pete Hoekstra is genuinely worried about the fundamental changes President Barack Obama has made to American foreign policy, according to this 28-minute exclusive video interview for The Daily Caller News Foundation. Cargill Meat Solutions in Fort Morgan will allow more than 150 Muslim employees to reapply for their positions following a mass termination in December. The Wichita-based company let its employees go after a misunderstanding about the company policy on prayer breaks escalated. The Somali Muslim employees are being represented by the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Cargill representatives reviewed the no-call, no-show termination policy which led to the terminations and decided to allow the workers fired in the dispute to reapply for their jobs after a 30-day period, rather than the company policy of 180 days. A CAIR news release on...

But the important thing from our perspective is it’s like every other political ideology that competes and has animus towards the west. And we have to see ourselves as in competition with it and needing to defeat it, rather than trying to figure out how we can accommodate it under the auspices of our commitment to religious liberty, because overwhelmingly it’s not a religious doctrine. The political element of it is overwhelmingly a totalitarian political doctrine. And we shouldn’t, just because it has a few religious elements to it, lose sight of the bigger picture.

Friday, May 22, 2015 De-Islamization is the Only Way to Fight ISIS Posted by Daniel Greenfield @ the Sultan Knish blog Obama can’t defeat ISIS with soft power, though ISIS could beat him with soft power assuming its Caliph ever decided to agree to sit down at a table with John Kerry without beheading him. Iran has picked up billions in sanctions relief and the right to take over Yemen and raid ships in international waters in the Persian Gulf just for agreeing to listen to Kerry talk for an hour. And that might be a fair exchange. As bad...

Violence dominates the streets and a Jew in Sweden today feels like a Jew in Berlin in the '20s. In 2003, Azzam Tamimi, a Hamas member from Hevron, delivered a sermon at the Great Mosque in Stockholm, expressing support for suicide attacks against Israeli civilians. Outside the mosque, militants distributed leaflets containing calls to "liquidate the Jews in Palestine in the name of Allah". Why did the Swedish authorities allow this Arab anti-Semite to deliver a homicidal sermon in their capital's main mosque if not to help foment a new war against the Jewish people? Ten years later, and Sweden,...

Mohamed has made the list of most popular baby boy names in Minnesota, according to the Social Security Administration (SSA).Mohamed was the 98th most popular boy's name in 2011 in the state. The SSA says Minnesota parents named 73 boys after the founder of Islam in that year. This is the first time the name has appeared on the list the SSA releases each year. Are you surprised Mohamed is now one of the 100 most popular boys names? Are you surprised it wasn't on the top 100 list prior to 2011? Mohamed's place on the list is not surprising considering...

Conservatives confronted with the Republican Party's "stupid party" image after the November 2012 election will be gathering on March 14-16 for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington. CPAC is an annual, 3-day gathering of conservative activists and political leaders who network and set the tone of the conservative political agenda. This year, CPAC has not been without controversy . Box Turtle Bulletin's Timothy Kinkaid has pointed out that gays — and in particular, GOProud — are banned from any formal role because of the cries of the Family Research Council and other religious right activists. Chris Christie,...

And 40% think that Muslims here should not be governed by the Constitution, but by Sharia. Does this really surprise anyone? Why should Muslims in the U.S. hold different beliefs from Muslims elsewhere? "Guess who U.S. Muslims are voting for," by Bob Unruh for WND, October 31: Nearly half of 600 Muslim-American citizens polled who plan to vote in the 2012 presidential election believe parodies of Muhammad should be prosecuted criminally in the U.S., and one in eight say the offense is so serious violators should face the death penalty. The results came in a groundbreaking scientific poll for WND...

In the video below, we see a small number of Christians who gathered holding Christian signs at the 2012 Dearbor, Michigan Arab festival being assaulted by Muslims with bottles, stones, and other objects. The police do not protect the Christians or take action against the perpetrators; in the end, they reprimand the Christians and instruct them to leave. Ever since, there has been no coverage of this outrageous event in our media. Nor has CAIR or any other Muslim organization denounced the Muslims who abused the Christians.

Full title: Sharia in Pennsylvania: Muslim admits to attacking atheist over "Zombie Muhammad"; Muslim judge dismisses case, tells atheist he'd be killed in Muslim lands This is enforcement of Sharia in a Pennsylvania court. The attacker supposedly got off because he "is an immigrant and claims he did not know his actions were illegal, or that it was legal in this country to represent Muhammad in any form. To add insult to injury, he also testified that his 9 year old son was present, and the man said he felt he needed to show his young son that he was...

In France there are more Islamic mosques being built, and more frequently, than Catholic churches, and there are more practicing Muslims than practicing Catholics in the country. Nearly 150 new mosques are currently being built in France, home to the largest Islamic community in Europe. The projects are in various stages of completion, according to Moahmmed Moussaoui, President of the Muslim Council of France, who provided this data in an interview on August 2 with RTL radio. The total number of mosques in France has already doubled to exceed 2,000 in the last ten years, according to a research entitled: "Building...

While all eyes this week are on London's royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton, my eyes were on an opening statement from the U.K.'s Daily Mail Reporter: "Women who do not wear headscarves are being threatened with violence and even death by Islamic extremists intent on imposing shariah law on parts of Britain." Rich Dart, a former BBC worker who now attends Muslim rallies, spoke for many about how they favor Islamic law's integration in Western politics, when he was heard to say: "When the Taliban defeat the allies we will establish shariah law and take the fight to...

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components. Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well. Here’s how it works.

A coming series of "superhero" cartoons promoting the tenets of Islam under the title of "The 99" – which has been praised by President Obama – is drawing a terse warning from an expert who has analyzed media impact on people for decades. "These are not the types of heroes you want your children to have," Dr. Ted Baehr, chief of MOVIEGUIDE®," told WND today. "These heroes, at their core, because they represent values contrary to humanity, at the core these heroes are more villain than hero." Reports already have circulated about the plans by The Hub, which formerly was...
