WASHINGTON — The mother of murdered intern Chandra Levy is asking a judge's permission to attend the trial of the accused killer. In a new legal filing, Modesto resident Susan Levy states she wants the opportunity to be in the courtroom "for the entire trial," set to start Oct. 4. She requires permission to watch because she could also be called to testify. "I'm a mother," Susan Levy explained in a telephone interview Friday. PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA (WWBT) - A Richmond nun has been killed by an alleged drunk driver. The crash happened in Bristow, Prince William County, just after 8:00am Sunday morning. Police say 23-year-old Carlos Montano was drunk when his car ran off the side of the road, and hit the nun's car head on. 66-year-old Jeanette Mosier was in the backseat of the car. The man suspected of drunken driving and killing a Catholic nun in Prince William County this weekend is an illegal immigrant who was awaiting deportation and who federal immigration authorities had released pending further proceedings, police said Monday. The man, Carlos Montano, a county resident, had been arrested by police twice before on drunk-driving charges, and on at least one of those occasions county police reported him to federal authorities. Impaired illegal-immigrant driver triggered a crash Saturday at 6:30 am. He killed a 16-year-old girl and injured her 17-year-old brother. The students were on their way to a school band event.
