I voted the straight Republican ticket on election night, but I held my nose when I did it. I was afraid, and I still am, that if the Democrats got in, we would cut and run in Iraq. We finally have some sensible judges on the Supreme Court who abide by the U.S. Constitution. I hope that doesn't change. There are a lot of unbalanced Democrats. Watch for them to pass the Department of Peace and Nonviolence Act that was submitted by Goofy Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) along with 74 Democratic co-sponsors. They propose a new "Department of Peace and Nonviolence"...

Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH) gave the following floor speech today on legislation he is introducing to abolish all nuclear weapons: “In the Hindu religion Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the preserver, and Siva, the destroyer, exist simultaneously and represent the multiplicity of God. Today, we are going to be called upon to determine which of the principles - creator, preserver or destroyer - shall work through each of us. “If we continue to pursue nuclear proliferation embodied in the nuclear agreement with India we will be open to the principals of destruction. At this moment when world tensions are rising...

Rep. Dennis Kucinich was just on Fox, being interviewed. When asked if Kucinich agreed that Hezbollah is a pack of murdering terrorists, Kucinich became aggitated and stated that 'Hezbollah is part of the elected government of Lebanon.' When he was asked is he agreed that Hezbollah must be destroyed, he replied, 'I agree the war must be ended.' When the interviewer, clearly incredulous, gave Kucinich another chance to denounce Hezbollah, Kucinich would have none of it, and even more aggitated, repeatd that Hezbollah is part of the elected government of Lebanon that has the right to exist and be included...

Yes. I am new to this website and was wondering why my account was banned? I posted an article I wrote about how Buddhism not Islam is a threat to America and is the fastest growing religion instead of Islam. I noted how Buddhism denies the existence of God and the divinity of Christ, I also made note of how Buddhists practice an evil satanic ceremony called doku. It is a ritual where Buddhist monks use a doku drum made of the hide of a white christian baby to conjure up demons for human sacrifice. Using three fingers they beat...

BRADENTON -- Propped on crutches near the steps of the Manatee County Administration Complex on Friday, Will Ruliffson held a large, cut-out pie chart. On it, a slim slice marked the 2 percent that he wants the government to allocate to a U.S. Department of Peace. "It's not asking for much," said Ruliffson, 73, a Bradenton resident and member of the social action committee of the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Next to Ruliffson, three women held a sign that read, "On behalf of mothers everywhere: Peace wants a piece of the pie." Ruliffson was one of about 20 people who...

And what if, this coming November 2, at the same time as millions of Americans, all the world's peoples went to the ballot box to vote? There would be legitimacy in their participation in the election of the president of the world's greatest power. Simply because their lives, their future, depend on it in one way or another. It would be a symbolic gesture, a universal speech in observation of a fact and a direct and unambiguous way of saying that the fate of the world depends in large part on the American presidency. The Vietnamese and the Chileans at...

With this nation embroiled in what threatens to be an interminable "War on Terrorism," an idea put forward last year by Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich has considerable appeal. Kucinich, who was the one candidate in the Democratic primaries to unfailingly promote the party's traditional Franklin Roosevelt liberalism, proposed the establishment of a Department of Peace. Now he has introduced in the House HR 2459, a bill that would establish a Peace Department, adding a new Cabinet post to the executive branch of government. The Department of Peace would "advise the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State on all...

Department of Peace? By Monty Rainey http://www.juntosociety.com A Department of Peace? Maybe you’ve heard about it, since the bill [H.R. 2459] was first introduced by Dennis Kucinich in July, 2001. But now things are getting serious. A quick Google search will show hundreds of websites and news stories asking you to support this legislation. That means it’s time to take a much closer look at just what this Department of Peace would be. Would there be any reason to oppose a governmental department designed expressly for the purpose of promoting a peaceful global society? You’d better believe there is plenty...

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY HAS A BIG PROBLEM named Susan Lindauer, but you would never know this from the reporting by America’s dominant Left-leaning news media. Last Thursday Ms. Lindauer, 41, was arrested in her suburban Washington, D.C. home and charged with “prohibited financial transactions” from, acting as “an unregistered agent of,” and “conspiring” to act as a spy, both before and after the incursion a year ago, for Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS). Known in Arabic as the Mukhabbarat, the IIS has reportedly been involved in terrorist operations, intimidating and killing Iraqi defectors and dissidents, and according to Anwar...

WASHINGTON - Democrat Dennis Kucinich has only two delegates and low single-digit showings after nine nominating contests, yet he said Wednesday he's staying in the presidential race. "The race for the nomination will go all the way to the convention," Kucinich said in a statement. "It is at the convention where I will win the nomination, based on the emergence of Iraq as the defining issue." In the seven states that voted Tuesday, Kucinich finished with no more than 5 percent of the vote and none of the 269 pledged delegates at stake. A candidate needs 2,162 delegates to win...

This past April, Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Ohio introduced legislation that would establish a Cabinet-level Department of Peace. I -- along with thousands of others -- have lobbied our congresspeople and advocated the idea however possible to friends and associates.

Apologies to John Lennon, but all they're saying is that we should give the Department of Peace a chance. The Department of Peace would be created by legislation sponsored by Rep. Dennis Kucinich, an Ohio Democrat and presidential hopeful.........This Cabinet-level department, with a secretary of peace, would stress conflict resolution. Domestically, the peace secretary would, after appropriate federal agencies are merged, tackle such issues as domestic violence, child abuse, gang violence, drug abuse and civil rights. Internationally, the secretary's duties would include dealing with human rights, the proliferation of arms (including weapons sold by the United States) and generally stopping...
