(kreuz.net)Pope John Paul II. was not the only one in the Vatican who pursued spies. The Italian news agency, 'Adnekronos' reported on the 29th of December. Even the former Secretary of State, Agostino Cardinal Casaroli († 1998), found a bug in his home. It was for that reason that the Cardinal is said to have been shadowed by the Soviet Secret Service, KGB throughout the 80s

The Southern Poverty Law Center's ironically named "Intelligence Report" for Winter 2010 contains a hit piece entitled, "Geller, Jones Amp Up Anti-Muslim Hate Rhetoric." More disinformation and outright lying from Leftist propagandists. Their skullduggery is apparent in their presentation of a false narrative. Notice how they are conflating me and my work with the cartoonish Terry Jones, the Florida pastor who gained international fame by threatening to burn the Qur'an - and then backing down. This is Goebbels-style propaganda. Jones is a media creation, a fringe pastor who Tweeted something stupid - that he was going to burn the Qur'an...

Despite a $98 million infusion for state-of-the-art baggage screening machines, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) somehow missed a suitcase filled with explosives that blasted after a three-hour domestic flight. The shameful gaffe is simply the latest of many for the beleaguered Homeland Security agency charged with protecting the nation’s transportation system. A checked bag on a flight from Boston to Miami contained hundreds of bullet primers that exploded on the tarmac after the plane arrived in south Florida. Primers provide the spark that detonates the gunpowder in bullets. The bag belongs to a 37-year-old man, said to be a naturalized...

Echoing President Barack Obama’s post-election statements on energy policy, U.S. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar hosted a forum in D.C. this week to discuss the important role natural gas stands to play in America’s energy future. At the same time the meeting’s participants detailed the economic and environmental advantages of cultivating this vast resource, the New York State Assembly was voting to ban the drilling process to extract gas until at least May 2011. These two events illustrate a growing political divide in what should otherwise be a straightforward issue. Much of this wedge is being driven by activists who oppose...

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is instructing his staff to accelerate by one day the public release of a yearlong study into the implications of repealing the ban on openly gay people serving in the military. That study, initially due Dec. 1, will now be ready for release on Nov. 30 to allow the congressional defense committees to hold hearings on the report as soon as possible. Supporters of repealing the Clinton-era law, known as "Don't ask, don't tell," are eying the weeks after Thanksgiving recess as the last opportunity to see the ban scrapped. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)...

President Obama and his friends in the media want the public to think Americans serving in uniform are just fine and dandy with homosexual conduct in the military. This view is being spread through a series of selective leaks from the Pentagon's Comprehensive Review Working Group, which is putting the finishing touches on a report regarding the future of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Mr. Obama has promised the fringe special-interest activists who helped him win the 2008 election that he will deliver what for them is the symbolic victory of opening barracks to lesbians, gays, bisexuals and the...

Network news and the internet were abuzz with the report and video by Los Angeles CBS affiliate KCBS of a reported missile launch late Monday afternoon -- around 5 PM. Both the Air Force and the Navy denied they had any missiles launches at the time. According to CBS News the Defense Department remains baffled. "Nobody within the Department of Defense that we've reached out to has been able to explain what this contrail is, where it came from," Pentagon spokesman Col. Dave Lapan said. "So far, we've come up empty with any explanation." And they go on: "The FAA...

By Paul Driessen Saturday, September 11, 2010 We will eradicate malaria by 2010, stricken families were promised a few years ago. Well, 2010 is nearly gone and, instead of eradication, we have more malaria than before … and a new target date: 2015. Unless malaria control policies change, that date too will come and go. Billions will still be at risk of getting malaria. Hundreds of millions will continue getting the disease. Millions will die or become permanently brain-damaged. And poverty and misery will continue ravaging Third World communities.

EXCERPT We know it’s gossip and hearsay, but this was passed onto us via email. re: Obama is a nervous wreck, chain-smoking incessantly, fretful and broken. Spoke with a friend of mine in DC who is in very well-connected politically on the Dem side and I asked him about the mood in DC. He advised me Obama is a shell of a man, second guessing himself non-stop, reeking of cigarettes and consumed with the color of his rapidly-graying hair. Our informer goes on to say that they realize it’s “second party hearsay” but that it is “consistent with other reports...

Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness.

In his weekly radio address, President Barack Obama slammed Republican opposition to Senate Democrats’ efforts to pass a jobs bill that would extend unemployment benefits and send billions to states in fiscal relief. “Republican leaders in Washington just don’t get it,” Obama said Saturday morning. “While a majority of Senators support taking these steps to help the American people, some are playing the same old Washington games and using their power to hold this relief hostage — a move that only ends up holding back our recovery. It doesn’t make sense.” The president also spoke about a troubling June jobs...

... "The choice of timing was particularly refined," Lavrov said sarcastically, referring to the fact that the arrests occurred after Obama met with Medvedev on Thursday for a visit widely seen as the latest step in the "reset" of relations between the former Cold War rivals. A source in Obama's administration said the president was not happy about the timing of the arrests, but investigators feared that some of their suspects might flee, The New York Times reported. The arrests might have been spurred by an FBI sting operation on Saturday in which one of the, Anna Chapman, was given...

Is the Obama Administration preparing the ground for a Ministry of Truthiness? The President's latest wide-ranging speech at Hampton University made a halt at a very strange outpost, before moving on to education. Obama, it seems, is vexed by the idea of conspiracy theories. Apparently people aren't thinking the right thoughts. Obama's internet Yoda, Professor Cass Sunstein*, is also besotted with the idea. Two years ago, Sunstein proposed what you might call an 'active government solution' to conspiracies. The best way to counter conspiracy theories, Sunstein and co-author Adrian Vermeule argued, is with the "cognitive infiltration of extremist groups". This...

According to two knowledgeable sources, Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele once raised the possibility of using party money to buy a private jet for his travel. ---snip--- While Steele has not purchased a plane, he continues to charter them. According to federal disclosure records, the RNC spent $17,514 on private aircraft in the month of February alone (as well as $12,691 on limousines during the same period). There are no readily identifiable private plane expenses for Democratic National Committee chairman Tim Kaine in the DNC’s last three months of filings. --snip--- Once on the ground, FEC filings suggest, Steele...

There is a huge new public relations offensive being unleashed by the Democrats and their allies in the progressive left, one designed to limit their short term election losses and defeat any significant ObamaCare repeal efforts. It is imperative that all conservatives and opponents of government-run health care understand the Democrats' and progressive left's short-term political strategy so that we do not inadvertently aid them or fall victim to the new health care myths that they will be propagating. The new plan is designed to accelerate the public through a mass analogue of the "seven stages of grief" (shock, denial,...

The Tiring Nature Of Media Propaganda Posted: Feb 11 2010 By: Jim Sinclair My Dear Friends, /snip Then I see two events today of blatant QE while I hear how the Fed is going to drain huge amounts of the liquidity that was added to the market. Coming up next will be the EU having a plan to bailout Greece, but the ECB will not say what that plan is because they have no plan, only intentions. Some people have observed that I know what gold is doing without looking because I feel it. Well, I do. Right now I...

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, a research group in Washington that monitors the influence of money in politics, Mr. Hayworth was the largest single Congressional recipient of donations from Mr. Abramoff and his family, his associates, his Indian tribe clients and a gambling cruise ship line that he owned, with more than $101,000 going to Mr. Hayworth and his political action committee since 1999. Mr. Hayworth was also a frequent guest in sports skyboxes controlled by Mr. Abramoff and his clients, and at Signatures, a Washington restaurant owned by the lobbyist. Mr. Mitchell said Mr. Hayworth needed to...
