Since Obama’s inauguration in January 2009 there have been several major scandals in which his Administration has been involved, principally, Operation Fast and Furious the government sponsored sale of guns to small time gun sellers along our border with Mexico; the failed ‘Stimulus’ loan of multi-millions to Solyndra and LightSquared, two small businesses that were Obama preferred for loans. All three of these Obama Administration ventures were major failures involving scandalous behavior. ...Is the entire communications arm of our country becoming beholden to Obama and his scandal ridden administration peopled by socialist, communists who break our laws with impunity and...

Activists tell The Daily Caller that The Walt Disney Company is refusing to re-air a 9/11-related docudrama, effectively burying politically inconvenient facts about the events which led to the 9/11 terror attacks, in order to protect the political future of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “The Path to 9/11,” first aired on ABC in 2006, portrayed President Bill Clinton’s administration as ignoring warnings and signs that Osama bin Laden and al Qaida were planning a major attack on the United States — a finding supported by The 9/11 Commission Report. In a stunning development, Disney has shut down production on The Lone Ranger, the Gore Verbinski-directed period Western that was to star Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the title character. Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer and the script is by Justin Haythe. I'm told this all just happened, and Disney pulled the plug because of the budget. I've heard the filmmakers were trying to reduce the film's cost from $250 million (some even say $275 million) down to $232 million. The Lone Ranger was scheduled to be released December 21, 2012, smack up against The Hobbit: An...

My wife and I call movies like this "Hollywood Antidotes" because they appear to be aimed at reversing the "glamorize the bad, denigrate the good" messages that seem to be written into nearly every other Hollywood film these days. A beret may resolve a dispute between a Muslim woman and Disneyland, where she works as a vacation planner. Noor Abdallah, 22, wanted to wear her hijab, a religious head scarf, at her job at a Disneyland Resort Esplanade ticket booth in Anaheim, Calif., reports the Daily Mail. But the theme park objected, and Abdallah refused another position where she would not be seen by the public, according to the Council on American-Islamic relations. As a compromise, she has agreed to wear a blue beret that will partly cover her hijab. Disney spokesperson Suzi Brown praised the company's willingness to...

ANAHEIM — Disneyland officials have reached an agreement with a Muslim college intern allowing her to wear a head covering while on the job, Muslim community leaders and Disney officials said Monday. Officials with the Council on American-Islamic Relations say the scarf acts as an Islamic head covering, called a hijab, in accordance with her Muslim religion. Disney officials don’t call it a hijab — just a head scarf to accommodate an employees needs. The woman, who was not identified by name, is the second Disney employee in recent weeks to complain that Disney did not allow her to wear...

Recently, my family and I went to Disneyland in California. In the California Adventure Park, we watched the otherwise splendid Alladin musical. What disturbed me was that in the chorus was a disabled actress in an electric wheelchair. She had no speaking roles and while her counterparts danced to the music she simply rolled her cart in circles. Having an autistic child, I am happy to see the handicapped perform. However ( and perhaps I am sensitive) I fid it distasteful to have someone one stage just to have gratuitous , politically correct window dressing. Obviously she couldn't play Jasmine...

Check out this cartoon submitted by an anonymous cartoonist to iOwnTheWorld. If you haven't heard Disney is dealing with a controversy with an employee who is Muslim woman over wearing her head scarf (hijab). Disneyland says she has to follow their dress code and lose the hijab, and she says no. I can appreciate the first amendment religious freedom rational here, but if the first amendment were really the issue here then dress codes everywhere should be abolished for oppressing speech. Bottom line, Disney is a private company and there are A LOT of other places this woman can...
