"What? Me, guilty of the very hate speech I condemn? But, but, I am the Great and Powerful Kos!!" Last time, we documented the DUbble Standard of DUmmieland, where William Pitt the Hypocrite, in typical high DUdgeon, has denounced the rhetoric of the Right, but who himself has engaged in violent rhetoric against (at least) George W. Bush, George H. W. Bush, and Sarah Palin, and threatened actual physical violence against a homeless woman, DUmmie bobbolink. Today we travel next door to KOmmieland, where Head KOmmie Kos and KOmmie BoyBlue swell the ranks of the hypocrites on the Left. Of...

A bunch of leftists (who hate Sarah Palin) are trying to hijack the Bloggers Choice Awards. But a good FReeping can change that. To vote, you have to register, which is no big deal. To vote for FR as Best Political Blog (even though it iosn’t a “blog”) click on “Best Political Blog.” FR was on page 5 last I checked. To vote for FR as Best Blog of All Time, click on “Best Blog of All Time.” FR was on Page 36 . To vote for Daily Kos as Worst Blog of All Time, click on “Worst Blog of...

I was curious if anyone here knows how Daily Kos people differ Dirty Underground people? It seems like DU people are made fun of more here. Are they funnier? Does anyone know if one group is more elitist, more intelligent, or more vile than the other?

This picture of an audience listening to the Teleprompter-in-Chief captures the mood of Democrats these days. "Yawn! Grumble!" That's the sound of Democrat voters across the land, as we head toward the 2010 midterm elections. Apathy and discontent have spread like herpes at a coed dorm. And dormant Dems spell trouble for the party in power. A new poll casts a pall on next fall for the Democrat pol. You can read about it at this KOmmie THREAD, "Weekly Tracking Poll: New Feature Paints Ugly 2010 Picture." It seems Head KOmmie KOs has KOmmissioned a survey, so you would...
  • Daily Kos Reader Favorite: An F-Bomb-Packed Rant Against Cheney

For those highly mistaken people who think the liberals are the ones who bring gentleness and compassion and reasonableness to the political debate, we always have the rebuttal. It’s called the Daily Kos. This Thursday "diary" recently made it to the top of the Kosmonauts’ recommended list, despite the fact that the writer needs his keyboard washed out with soap: F*** you Dick Cheney! F*** your pompous condecension. F*** your straw men! F*** your mischaracterizations! F*** your sniveling attempts to keep you and your buddies asses out of federal (somewhat offensive movie quote removed, happy now?) prison! F*** your presumption...
  • Netnuts hide 'The Obama Nation' at Costco(crazy, juvenile action)

This is absolutely crazy and amusing. Some daily kossacks were so upset over 'The Obama Nation', they went to Costco and attempted to hide the books from being seeing by shoppers. Here's what I found on dailykos. In the last election cycle, the CEO of Costco, Jim Sinegal and the Chairman of the Board, Jeffrey Brotman gave generously to progressive causes. I didn't think I would walk into one of their stores to find a copy of "The Obama Nation." My wife and I took action, and turned every copy of the book over so nobody would see the cover....
  • How DailyKos Helped Dems Attack Bolton

A left-wing website rescues clueless Democrats in the confirmation fight. When Melody Townsel, the Texas woman who claims that U.N.-ambassador nominee John Bolton chased her through a Moscow hotel, throwing things at her and "behaving like a madman," first tried to tell her story to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the committee showed no interest. It was only after she turned to the influential far-Left website DailyKos that Democrats on the committee realized Townsel might be a powerful weapon in their campaign to defeat the Bolton nomination. The story began on Friday, April 8, when Townsel e-mailed her story to...
  • Internet bile backfired on Bush-haters

Going into the 2004 election cycle, just about everyone said the Internet was going to change politics. But no one was sure how. Now we know....snip ...The Democratic Internet constituency was and is motivated by one thing more than anything else: hatred of George W. Bush. To see that, you only have to take a look at dailykos.com, run by Democratic consultant Markos Moulitsas, which gets 400,000 page views a day -- far more than any other political weblog -- and which received funding from the Dean campaign (which Moulitsas disclosed). It seethes with hatred of Bush, constantly attacks Republicans...
