Reddit users recall shocking real-life stories where the paternity of a child came into question. Beautiful mature woman hugging her husband, showing HUSH gesture, having secret affair, texting her lover on smartphone. Adultery, relationship issue, marriage cheating, hidden love concept Back in the late ‘50s or 1960s, my uncle had an affair with a woman who later divorced her husband and became his wife (and my aunt). She had two children with her first husband, or at least that was the official story. It was obvious, based on appearance, that one of those children was my uncle's biological child. She...

When homicide detectives called Jackie Vadurro at the end of January, claiming to have matched her 23andMe DNA test kit to a 36-year-old cold case murder, she thought they were joking. But, no — the cops were dead serious. SNIP Vadurro, a content creator who lives in an RV around Palm Springs, CA., went on to reveal that the detective said her DNA was a possible match to a 1986 cold case murder of a Jane Doe who’d been fatally shot and thrown off onto the side of a rural San Diego road. SNIP “And now they think that I...

The Pentagon is warning military members against using consumer mail-in DNA tests over potential risks, a Department of Defense spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday. The Department of Defense is advising service members to instead receive DNA result information from a “licensed professional," spokeswoman Elissa Smith said. “We want to ensure all service members are aware of the risks of Direct to Consumer (DTC) genetic testing,” Smith said. “The unintentional discovery of markers that may affect readiness could affect a service member's career, and the information from DTC genetic testing may disclose this information.” She added that the information provided by private companies...

A DNA test has concluded that Hunter Biden is the father of an Arkansas woman’s baby. Testing found “with scientific certainty” that Joe Biden’s son fathered the child, according to a motion filed Wednesday. He “is not expected to challenge the results of the DNA test or the testing process,” the filing said.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is ready to show up Sen. Elizabeth Warren, saying Tuesday he plans to take a DNA test to find out whether he has more Native American heritage than she does. “I’m going to take a DNA test,” Graham told “Fox and Friends” on Tuesday. “I’ve been told my grandmother was part Cherokee Indian. It may all just be talk.” Graham said he would reveal the results on the show in a couple weeks.

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren, of Massachusetts, is projected to win a second term in the Senate, defeating Republican state lawmaker Geoff Diehl.

Three things are true about Elizabeth Warren’s five-minute video debunking Donald Trump’s claim that she’s lying about her Native American roots. First, it’s a terrific introduction to her family history. Second, it won’t change any Republican minds. And third, that doesn’t matter. It’s aimed squarely at Democrats and the media—and yes, it’s an early salvo in what will certainly be a crowded Democratic presidential primary. I’ve sworn I would ignore 2020 politics until after the 2018 midterms, and that I will resist endorsing a Democrat as long as is humanly (for me) possible. With this piece, I’m breaking the first...

So Elizabeth Warren was doing a victory dance about her DNA test showing 'strong evidence' she may have 1/1,024 or 0.09 percent Native American lineage. In hot pursuit, she called on President Trump to 'pay up' with his $1 million offer to the charity of her choice for taking the DNA test he said he would toss to her at a future presidential debate, earlier. As the network press admiringly gushed about the whole 'gotcha,' she was convinced she had him cornered. Well, sorry, that debate hasn't happened yet and now it's doubtful it ever will, because Warren is...

The era of Maury-Povich politics is officially upon us, after President Donald Trump suggested at a rally in Montana last week that Senator Elizabeth Warren be subjected to a DNA test. “I shouldn’t tell you ’cause I like not to give away secrets… Let’s say I’m debating Pocahontas,” the president said, reviving his favorite racist nickname for the senator. “You know those little kits they sell on television for $2…I’m gonna get one of those little kits and in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims that she’s of Indian heritage, because her mother says she has high cheekbones…we...

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) revealed the identity of the mysterious wolf-like creature that was shot dead in the state last month. Officials confirmed in a news release Monday that DNA results proved the animal was a gray wolf.

Massachusetts voters may never know the true genetic heritage of Sen. Elizabeth Warren,D-Mass., but they can be very clear on what the law says about performing DNA testing without written consent. That's bad news for aspiring conservative super-sleuths, and Howie Carr in particular, who doubt that Warren really is of Native American ancestry. [Snip-em] While exceptions are made for clinical research, Massachusetts doesn't make allowances for genetic truther trolls eager to catch Warren in an obvious lie. And why should it? The senator has already embarrassed herself. Sans evidence of her ancestry, she submitted recipes to the Pow-Wow-Chow cookbook, claimed...

Given the chance this morning to put to rest the question of her Native American ancestry, Elizabeth Warren dodged, bigly.

On Fox News Sunday, guest host John Roberts asked Warren whether she’d be willing to take a “spit test” of her DNA. Warren ignored the question, sidestepping instead into a tear-jerker about her “daddy” falling in love with a “beautiful girl,” but that his family “bitterly opposed” the marriage because she was “part Native American.” Eventually, they eloped, claimed Warren.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has remained unscathed by her false claims to Native American heritage. That’s in part due to the fact that she’s from deep blue Massachusetts. She was able to dodge this accusation of false heritage to win a U.S. Senate seat. Yet, over time, local publications have been bringing pressure to Warren’s racial hoax. Guy wrote about the Boston Globe putting on their front page how this false claim to the Cherokee Nation made by Warren could have lasting political ramifications, though more centered on a possible 2020 run rather than her 2018 re-election. Some members of...

The fact there is so many weapons on the truck in the Nice (FR) attack, it is important to get forensics on these weapons. The truck supposedly had quite a few weapons (rifles/grenades/etc). It should NOT BE CONSIDERED profiling to get fingerprints/DNA of all immigrants in Europe/United States/Canada -- as well as other countries. It is a way to see WHO WAS INVOLVED IN THESE ATTACKS AS WELL AS FUTURE ATTACKS. Remember that it is reported that the truck was loaded with weapons. Europe should consider fingerprinting/getting DNA on all immigrants and even current citizens.

The U.N. peacekeepers arrive; months later, some leave infants behind. Now the United Nations has quietly started to offer DNA testing to help prove paternity claims and ensure support for the so-called “peacekeeper babies.” It’s a delicate step, as countries that contribute U.N. troops might not welcome a practice that could prove not only fatherhood but wrongdoing. Of the dozen paternity claims received last year, four were associated with alleged sexual abuse of a minor. The new effort comes a decade after a groundbreaking report on sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers suggested that the U.N. secretary-general be authorized to “require...

The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision Monday that police may take a DNA swab from people arrested for crimes without first getting a warrant to do so. In an unusual twist, the court's conservative firebrand, Antonin Scalia, joined three of his liberal colleagues in a scathing dissent that warns the court's decision paves the way for the creation of an invasive police state. Scalia called the decision's scope "vast" and "scary," and said the DNA collection is an unequivocal violation of Americans' Fourth Amendment right to be free from "unreasonable searches and seizures" of their bodies and homes....

WASHINGTON (AP) - A sharply divided Supreme Court on Monday said police can routinely take DNA from people they arrest, equating a DNA cheek swab to other common jailhouse procedures like fingerprinting.

The Supreme Court on Monday upheld the police practice of taking DNA samples from people who have been arrested for a serious offense but not convicted of a crime, ruling that it amounts to the 21st century version of fingerprinting. The ruling was 5-4. Justice Antonin Scalia, a conservative, joined three of the court’s more liberal members — Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan — in dissenting. The five justices in the majority ruled that DNA sampling, after an arrest “for a serious offense” and when officers “bring the suspect to the station to be detained in...

The Supreme Court has ruled criminal suspects can be subjected to a police DNA test after arrest -- before trial and conviction -- a privacy-versus-public-safety dispute that could have wide-reaching implications in the rapidly evolving technology surrounding criminal procedure.

Is Michelle Obama pregnant? If the gossip blogs and websites are to be believed, then the White House could be welcoming a new arrival in July this year, despite Michelle telling chat show host Ellen DeGeneres in 2008: 'I think I'm done. I think our third child is this [the Presidential] campaign.' So has Michelle changed her mind? If the web is to be believed, then the Obama's are most definitely about to announce new baby news - or not...
