I’ve never had an abortion. But I’ve had a lot of sex. And when I’ve been asked what my “number” is by friends or lovers, I laughed it off because I hadn’t ever considered counting a complete tally of partners. But today I realize the privilege that comes with not really knowing how many different men I’ve slept with. That’s because I lived during a time when I was lucky enough to be able to separate my sex life from the rest of me. To put sex into a little box that I only accessed when the time was right....

HILLSBORO, Mo. (CBS St. Louis) – Over 150 Missouri high school students voiced their displeasure about a transgender teen using the girls’ locker room by walking out of class. Students at Hillsboro High School staged a two-hour walkout Monday over 17-year-old Lila Perry, a student who has identified as a female since she was 13, using the girls’ locker room during gym class. The school offered Perry a gender-neutral bathroom, which she turned down. St. Louis attorney Timm Schowalter says, “All students have a right, under Title 9, to access the bathroom of their choice.”

After you read Mark Regnerus on that fabricated gay-marriage “study,” click over to The Weekly Standard, where Andrew Ferguson makes an excellent point about the same: You can’t help but suspect that had such a questionable piece of work produced a result unflattering to the cause of “gay equality,” social scientists and journalists would have flogged each of its methodological mistakes. But this assumes that such a study could get published in the first place. Which leads us to what should have been the brightest red flag of all. The study confirms—perfectly, exquisitely, suspiciously—the picture that gay marriage advocates...

There will be no repercussions for the investigative reporter or editors responsible for a now-retracted Rolling Stone cover story in November that falsely accused Phi Kappa Psi fraternity members at the University of Virginia of gang-raping a freshman coed. In a stinging report released Sunday evening, an independent review by the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism said the magazine was reckless in vetting its sources, including the purported victim, identified only as “Jackie,” and neglected “basic, even routine journalistic practice.” “If Jackie was attacked and, if so, by whom, cannot be established definitively from the evidence available,” the review...

Today, the owner of the Washington Redskins, Dan Snyder, announced that the team has agreed unanimously to change their name, after receiving so much national controversy. This, from Mr. Snyder: "Today, we made the decision to agree to change the name of our team. Instead of "Washington Redskins", we will now be legally known as "REDSKINS". (We removed the name 'Washington', as it was too embarassing.)"

A 30-year-old man attacked two co-workers at a food processing company in Oklahoma on Thursday afternoon, killing and beheading one of them, before he was shot and wounded by a company executive, the police said Friday. A law enforcement official said that the F.B.I. had not found any connection between the man and ISIS or other groups. “It’s not a typical workplace response, and given the current environment it is very alarming and is something we are closely looking into,” said one of the officials. Law enforcement officials said Mr. Nolen was a recent convert to Islam. A Facebook page...

One might have thought that Hillary Clinton would have learned a lesson about minimizing her personal wealth after her “dead broke†comment to Diane Sawyer in the first interview on her Hard Choices book tour. Her team tried to walk back those comments the next day, but to no avail. Political analysts blasted Hillary for being “tone deaf†during the interview, and that was before news broke that the Clintons like to exploit estate-tax loopholes they claim to oppose.Hillary took her road show overseas, but still is making the same condescending mistakes in her quest to be seen as...

If book tours are supposed to be promotional, someone should tell Hillary Clinton she’s doing it wrong. The former First Lady stuck her foot in her mouth once again on the topic of her massive wealth in an interview with The Guardian, published Saturday. When asked how — if she decides to run for president in 2016 — she expects to have credibility among voters on the topic of inequality in the U.S. if she herself is part of the problem, Clinton drew a line between her own massive wealth and that of other wealthy people. “But they don’t see...

Last month, Bill exposed Colorado Speaker of the House Mark Ferrandino (D) as the man responsible for killing Jessica’s Law in that state. On February 22nd he interviewed Mark Lunsford, father of Jessica Lunsford, and Republican Rep. Libby Szabo, the sponsor of Jessica’s Law in the House. Bill explained that Ferrandino’s priorities, instead of protecting the children of Colorado from sexual predators, were pot legalization and civil unions, reporting that Ferrandino is Colorado’s “first openly gay House Speaker.” But Curtis Hubbard, editorial page editor of the Denver Post, called Bill a bigot...

During an appearance on the program of MSNBC’s race-baiter-in-chief Al Sharpton, entertainer Harry Belafonte lashed out at Republicans, saying that their continued presence in Washington, DC constituted an “infection” of sorts. He also told his host that the only thing left for Obama to do with opposition figures who continue to disagree with him was to “Work like a Third World dictator and just put all these guys in jail.” Belafonte’s totalitarian prescription elicited a laugh rather than horror from Sharpton. This is the report that Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik has been dreading since the tragic event on Saturday January 8. The sheriff has been editorializing and politicizing the event since he took the podium to report on the incident. His blaming of radio personalities and bloggers is a pre-emptive strike because Mr. Dupnik knows this tragedy lays at his feet and his office. Six people died on his watch and he could have prevented it. He needs to step up and start apologizing to the families of the victims instead of spinning this event to serve his own political...

Looks like The New Republic’s representative lackey has alot of explaining to do. My original e-mail is at the bottom. Enjoy! SFC McElroy, I’m not in the habit of answering these email’s. It would be far too many. I appreciate all the support from home and I can assure you that not a single word of this was true. We’ve been fighting this fight for quite some time. Numerous soldiers within my unit have served on several deployments and this is my third year as a First Sergeant in this unit. My soldiers conduct is consistently honorable. This soldier has...

The radiation emitted by mobile phones and other gadgets could be responsible for wiping out up to 70 percent of the United States bee population, according to some reports. Whilst the theory might seem far fetched scientists are blaming mobile phones as they attempt to solve the mystery of the disappearing bees. Apparently the radiation interferes with the bees navigation systems and prevents them from finding their way back to their hives. Last autumn bee keepers started reporting Colony Collapse Disorder on a large scale. Apparently the bees vanish from the hive and die, alone and away from home. Without...

CRAWFORD — When peace activist Cindy Sheehan returns here next month to protest the war in Iraq, she won’t be a guest. She’ll be one of Crawford’s newest residents. Sheehan’s peace group, Gold Star Families for Peace, said on its Web site Thursday that Sheehan had purchased five acres on State Highway 317, about a half-mile north of the sole traffic light here. County records indicate she is acquiring the property through a third party who himself recently purchased it. On her Web site, Sheehan says she’s already planning to mount next month’s war protest on the property, again timed...
